Le pareti erano estremamente sottili. Potrei qui tutti i ragazzi in camera accanto a noi. Mi svegliò a ore cinque di mattina. Anche le braccia non sono più incluse nella vostra stanza. Ho pagato $171 per la nostra stanza e $36 per quattro di noi per giocare nel parco acquatico. Abbiamo ordinato anche una pizza a 28” per 46 dollari dalla scia e 2 ore erano passate e il mio nome non era stato ancora chiamato dicendo che la nostra pizza era pronta.Mio marito si è alzato e l'ha chiesto, e hanno detto che il loro sistema è andato in basso e sono dispiaciuti, ma La nostra pizza sarebbe uscita tra 15 e 20 minuti, e poi gli dissero che un manager voleva parlare con lui e che avevi già rimesso la nostra pizza tre volte. Così mio marito era arrabbiato e venne a chiedermi di parlare con loro. Quindi ho fatto e poi ho saputo la sicurezza, e il tipo che gestisce il bar e la barbecue ci ha detto che non potevamo essere nella zona in cui eravamo.E mi ha chiesto cosa aspettavo e gli ho spiegato che il mio nome non era mai stato chiamato per la nostra pizza e che si dicevano che avessimo avuto Ma come una famiglia di 4 persone può mangiare una pizza intera di 28”, lasciandola solo tre di loro, e così ha detto che la avrebbe portata direttamente all'uso quando sono finita. Ma non si sono rivolti a compagnia o addirittura a rimborsare parzialmente, dopo averci accusato di ricevere la pizza e aspettare 2 + ore.

Love this place we stayed on the 3rd floor no problems room was very ean bed was just a little to firm for my back I had 4 pillows 2 soft 2 firm pillow cases said firm and soft kinda cool. Never again will I bring my pillow from home no need breakfast was great fresh apples, bananas. Biscuits and sausage gravy, two kind of omelets, pork sausage , cinnamon rolls milk cold cereal , 3 kinds of juice. Oatmeal pancake machine was out of order,😞. Breakfast was always great. The pool felt so good jacuzzi felt so good pool and Jacuzzi we're both so clean and they provide towels at the pool also.

We travel a lot and stay at many places. We wanted a sample of a bed and breakfast and a more traditional stay while going to our Godchild's wedding. It is an older Victorian house with about 15 rooms, which does give breakfast. Here are a few items that need to be attended to to bring this facility up to par. The wallpaper in our room and the hallways were starting to peel away and instead of gluing, they put matching tape to hold it together, there were stains on the rugs in our room and holes in the carpet in the halls. On each floor, the fixtures, old as they be, did'nt have matching bulbs, or many bulbs were missing. So the lighting was off. The shower caulk in our bathtub was moldy. The left handle on the sink was loose and came off. The ceiling above our bed was patched and not repainted so there were two different colors. The chairs were antique, for the ambiance, but they could not be sat on. The owner needs to put more money into restoring this location. Also, communication with the bed and breakfast was different. Every time I would call, the owner would just text me. I had to get all the info, and codes to get into the place by text. It would have been nice to get this info ahead of time and maybe have a copy in the room as well as how to use the TV, because it was apple tv. Also, there is no AC in this old house, which we understood, but there were portable AC units in halls and rooms, we were hoping that the electric panels could take all of these plug ins, along with microwave and refrigerators in the rooms. No one is ever at the front desk, you can only text him to talk. Not personable, I understand because of covid, but we felt that we were let alone in the house with no one at the desk. He just told us that we can text if we need anything. I had to text and ask for my receipt after I got home. I probably would not stay here again. Needs work and better communication.

Il personale era così cordiale! Abbiamo avuto un po' di problemi di comunicazione tra l'hotel e trip.com per quanto riguarda il pagamento, ma hanno risolto rapidamente e il personale è stato veloce per sistemare le cose per noi! Abbiamo apprezzato sia la vasca idromassaggio che la piscina ed entrambi erano esattamente ciò di cui avevamo bisogno!! L'hotel era abbastanza lontano dal centro per essere tranquillo ma abbastanza vicino da rendere tutto accessibile. La cosa più importante che mi ha colpito è stata la disponibilità del personale. Consiglio assolutamente.

Chose this hotel due to convenient location to State Capitol and activities. Read reviews that said it was quiet but that depends on the room you get. We were in a 'special' corner (larger, tall windows and great view of capitol) on the Northeast corner off of Grand Avenue. Unfortunately, the traffic was LOUD for a Sunday night with people drag racing up and down Grand Avenue. AND, there is a restaurant/bar next door (COA) that was playing very loud music/bass. At 11:30pm it was still going and we called the front desk. Apparently they keep the music going until 2am and sometimes later, even though the noise ordinance is much earlier. The front desk staff seemed frustrated by this as well so we weren't the first to complain and they've asked them to stop the music and they refuse. Luckily, the awesome guy working the front desk was able to move us to a smaller but MUCH quieter southwest room that was higher up and the difference was shocking. So if you want to sleep, do not choose a room on the road/east side near the COA bar. Also, underground parking is $30/day, but there is a parking garage across the street that was only $10/day and still convenient. The onsite breakfast was ok, but at $14/person, we only ate there once. This all aside, the staff was AMAZING and accommodated our request for an late checkout, very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant/bar The Republic had great drinks, a nice relaxing atmosphere and very good food. The hotel was walkable to many spots we wanted to visit and the river front was fun to explore. We walked to the Iowa Taproom, RoCa, State Capitol ad there is great coffee just around the corner. Being from Des Moines, it was nice to get to know a different part of the city.

Abbiamo scelto Wildwood Lodge per la nostra destinazione di Natale, che è stata rinviata a gennaio, e abbiamo prenotato 6 camere per ospitare mia moglie e io, i nostri 6 figli e tutti i nipoti. L'hotel era meraviglioso per un evento del genere. L'ubicazione a pochi passi dall'interstate era facile da raggiungere e convenientemente situato vicino agli stabilimenti di cena. L'hotel aveva un piacevole ambiente rustico e un posto caldo e accogliente. Sembrava ben tenuto e pulito in tutto. Le camere erano spaziose con le opportune attese. E 'animali amichevoli per cani di meno di 100 lb per un piccolo onore. Tutti godevano la zona della piscina, la grande zona di raccolta e il colazione mattina. L'unica critica che posso fare è che il letto e le mutande erano un po' fermi per il mio gusto, ma altri li trovarono giusti. Ho dormito molto bene, ma il personale era meraviglioso. Sono andati oltre le aspettative in numerose occasioni durante tutto il processo, da rimediare alle difficoltà di prenotazione che ho avuto con un sito di prenotazione online di terza partita a garantire che abbiamo accantonato/connettere le camere. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

Okay, where to start? 1. They do not have an airport shuttle after midnight. This is NOT stated on their website claiming to be an ”airport” hotel. 2. It took a bit to get a $27.50 ride that was less than 2 miles to this hotel 3. The ”lady' at the front desk hates her job. 4. When I said these things, she comment was take it up with management. She said they never listen to them etc (she hates her job) I said I would and I will drive the point home at this point, I guess this flipped her lid. She slaps the keys on the counter after several guffaws and such. I picked them up the same way she slapped them down. 5. This really set her off and she got nasty. I told her I picked them up the same darn way she slapped them down. She said f*ck you, I said it back and she kept going and going, at this point I felt the need to keep her going as I walked to the elevator and she did not disappoint. This hotel is clearly poorly run. The employees hate their job and the ”guests” are clearly a nuisance to them. Short of me yelling or getting out of line there is no cause for her mouth, other than she is a miserable human being (at least tonight). I had a second reservation for tomorrow night and I cancelled it and will be staying downtown. I only hope that hotel is not under the same management (stay tuned) When you are traveling, things don't always go well. This was a long day and it was made far worse by Brandy. Brandy is not a happy person and she hates her job. My guess is the shuttle driver does and probably everyone else here does as well. I will make sure this one is on the never again list. That makes 2 or 3 over the last 30 years, quite an accomplishment a few minutes into the stay. If you are flying into Des Moines it is advisable to prearrange transportation as the airport and the surrounding hotels are not up to the simple task of getting you to the hotel. When you call them out, they are not capable of a rational response or anything even remotely professional.

Stavo qui mentre visitava la famiglia a Des Moines. Piacere di sorprendersi dalla condizione generale della proprietà. Di solito i motel aeroportuali sono brutti e corrono. Non questo. Il check-in era semplice e molto amichevole.Abbiamo una stanza proprio fuori dal lobby. Silenzio. La camera era molto pulita. Carpette fresche. La camera da bagno era nuova. Nessuna lamentela. Il letto era molto comodo e dormiva così bene. La zona della piscina era molto pulita, scarpe ampia e bella dimensione. L'acqua era cristallina e sembrava che la piscina fosse stata rinnovata, causando così pulita e pulita. Solo la mia denuncia era che il tubo caldo non funzionava. Sarei sicuramente rimasto qui.

Ho prenotato attraverso uno dei molti siti web di hotel a sconto. Il sito ha valutato questo hotel 8.5, ma dovrebbe essere valutato circa 5. Ci è stato detto che questo è un hotel non fumante. Tuttavia, la nostra stanza ha ripreso fumo da fumatori precedenti. Sono estremamente sensibile a malattie allergiche, quindi ho provato a sprayre Lysol, ma non ha aiutato molto. La maggior parte degli hotel lascia che il fan andare nella stanza per sederlo fuori, ma questa stanza era calda quando entrammo, che rende l’odore di fumo molto peggio. La stanza era “ok” ma molto fondamentale. Avrei potuto avere un hotel molto meglio per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato per rimanere qui. Inoltre, il sito annuncia “continuità inclusa” ma quando ci siamo chiesti, ci è stato detto di lui’ bah mmh “continentale” stile. In generale, questo hotel potrebbe certamente beneficiare di alcune grandi fumigazioni e di ulteriori aggiornamenti.
