Svezia: hotel con pick-up nella provincia di Contea di Uppsala

The front desk staff are amazing and truly helpful. Breakfast is very good and caters well to special dietary requirements. However, the room was basic. The primary issue was the extremely poor hygiene standards in the room, with thick layers of dirt and dust everywhere, as shown in the photos. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable. Additionally, the furniture and fixtures were old and damaged. There was no complimentary water, and the tea bags and milk were not replaced. Amenities were available upon request only, and there was no fridge or safe. Overall, it was poor value for money.

For the price you can’t beat it. It was very well located, clean and comfortable. If I had to quibble there isn’t a proper desk in the room which is tricky for working but not the end of the world. The staff were polite and helpful. The rooms are small but then you can’t expect bigger at this price point.

Abbiamo amore per il nostro soggiorno al Grand Hotel Horgan solo due weekend fa. Ci siamo trasferiti in una suite junior con splendide viste sul castello di Uppsala da un lato e sulla città, il fiume e la cattedrale dall'altro. La stanza era comoda e abbiamo dormito bene. Il solo negativo è che la doccia era molto piccola, ma la doccia era calda e potente. Il colazione è un buffet e è abbondante e tutto è fresco e la sala da pranzo è una sala luminosa e aria. La zona del bar è grande, si può godere di caffè durante il giorno davanti al fuoco, essenziale nel freddo e neve svedese marzo, poi di notte è occupato con i residenti dell'hotel e i visitatori locali, ma si sente molto speciale. Il personale era generalmente molto amichevole. Un ringraziamento speciale al ragazzo che ci ha aspettato molto durante il weekend, scusiamo che non abbiamo ricevuto il tuo nome (giovanotto che indossava gli occhiali) molto amichevole, utile e anche ci abbiamo un sandwich nella nostra prima notte quando i ristoranti locali avevano chiuso la cucina. L'hotel è in una posizione molto grande accanto al fiume e in una passeggiata facile da tutti i luoghi di interesse. Vorrei certamente raccomandare di pagare l'eccedenza per rimanere qui, a differenza degli hotel più economici di Uppsala se è ancora nel vostro bilancio.

Nonostante sia davanti alla stazione è un hotel assolutamente tranquillo e silenzioso . Bella camera spaziosa e confortevole con ampie vetrate che la rendono particolarmente luminosa. Ottima la colazione con un’ampia proposta di vivande . Un plus da considerare e’ la presenza del parcheggio sotterraneo da cui si accede direttamente all’hotel . Consigliato

Room is nice and cozy, and hotel layout is unique. Combined shower/toilet design helps save space. Hotel does not have a 24 hour desk, and after hours support is lacking. Hotel has transitioned to a digital key, and mine did not work a few days after check in, at 2 AM. After hours instructions are to dial a special number on the front door keypad which results in a very short time to talk to the after hours support. I was instructed to access the hotel safe to retrieve a digital yellow master key, after multiple redials. The safe was full of physical keys, but no digital keys! My door had no physical keyhole. Repeated calls to after hour support urged me to keep looking for a master key, until I gave up and just slept on a couch in the lobby. When the morning staff arrived at ~06:30, they had to wake up another guest to retrieve the master key from their room. Staff was able to get me a functional key hours later. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel, and more importantly, my flight on my checkout day 2 days later would require me to leave the hotel before the morning staff arrived. I could not trust the hotel to maintain access to my belongings after hours, so I checked out and moved to a hotel with a 24 hour desk (the only reason booked Hotel Stella to begin with was because all others in the area were booked, but an opening came up). The new hotel was comparable price but much nicer for a similar price. Wish they would have had availability to begin with. I requested a refund of my unused nights from Hotel Stella and the owner blamed me for my experience. After multiple rounds of communication, he offered to reimburse me for the night I spent on the couch, but would not excuse me checking out early, calling my reasoning a ”fantasy”. This is a solid hotel, but beware the management!

Hotel was generally very good. Staff in the hotel were very nice and kind. The room was quite calm. It's good for the rest. Near the hotel is a fuel station and a lot of shopping centres. For sure, I will come back to this hotel during my next trip to Uppsala.

Siamo stati allo Scandic Upplandia Hotel per la durata della gara di danza a Uppsala con tutta la squadra di danzatori e i loro genitori. Quando siamo arrivati, siamo stati saluti da un bel ricevitore che aveva le carte di camera pronte. Le camere erano belle e pulite. Alcune camere erano un po' più fredde per noi, ma è stato possibile ottenere un riscaldamento diretto alla reception. I colazioni avevano una grande selezione e erano deliziosi, il personale sempre bello e amichevole. La posizione dell'hotel nel centro era grande. Se andiamo a Uppsala di nuovo, rimarremo certamente nello stesso hotel.
