Irlanda: hotel con pick-up nella provincia di Contea di Kerry

buona posizione, ma davvero deluso che per un hotel di quattro stelle DID NON fornisce alcuna attrezzatura essenziale hotel nelle camere hotel , nessuna cura personale ( pasta dentale, tostapane, caramelle, crema di rasoio, cappotto, bagno e mutandine, ecc... )

Staff efficientissimo, ti fornisce tutte le informazioni al check in e durante il soggiorno è sempre stato disponibile, veloce e preciso. Stanza magnifica, avevamo la 212, una deluxe con vista. Colazione di alto livello con prodotti di qualità e, a differenza di quasi tutte le strutture in questo periodo, senza bisogno di prenotare il tavolo in anticipo, essendo il locale sufficientemente grande (e bellissimo). Di fronte all albergo c'è un supermercato che vende generi alimentari, sempre aperto, un distributore di benzina e una lavanderia. Il centro città è a 5 minuti di cammino. Struttura grande, bellissima, un sogno. Silenziosità totale, si dorme benissimo. Piscina a disposizione su prenotazione e con limite di utilizzo di 45 minuti. Sauna e bagno turco invece sono chiusi. Parcheggio proprio davanti all' albergo, gratuito. Unico neo, come d altronde in tutta l Irlanda: letti troppo morbidi e cuscini troppo duri.

The hotel itself is lovely, and in a great location for walking to downtown. However, there are major communication problems with hotel staff. We attempted to book a two bed room for 3 people — per the descriptions online, the room should have been able to sleep 3 people, as there was one single and one double bed. After being unable to book the room online, we called the hotel directly to book the room, and were told it would be no problem. We never received an email confirmation or booking number, so two emails and a phone call later, when we received the confirmation booking for only 2 people, we were concerned. Two more emails and yet another phone call later, we were told a third person would be added at no additional charge. When we got to the hotel, checking in was easy. We were unable to park in the car park for the hotel, but were able to temporarily park in the set down spot to drop out our bags, then found parking at the sister lot, which was quite close. Unfortunately, the check in clerk neglected to mention that breakfast was included in our stay, in fact, telling us that the breakfast would be billed to the room, so we did not utilize it any of the three days we stayed here. The room was huge, and well maintained. The pool was somewhat lackluster, but the steam and sauna rooms really made up for it. Finally, upon checkout, we were billed for the third person. Overall a lovely hotel if you have extra money to waste!

Benner's is an absolute winner of a small, in town hotel. We arrived to a very warm welcome and three extremely spacious, clean and well laid out twin bedrooms with more than capacious bathrooms. Book a room toward the rear as the festivities and live traditional music throughout the town will play on until the small hours. The beds and bed linens are super comfortable, crisp and cool. Breakfast is brilliantly organised and there is pretty much nothing you could want nor anything that they won't make for you, from soft poached eggs with grilled tomatoes to the most perfect eggs benedict. There is also a very cosy, friendly bar to retreat into by the entrance. Benners does all the little things well, and not just well, but with a willing smile and a genuine pride in upholding a very high standard. Service is second to none (I stupidly mislaid my travel bag & passport at a restaurant the night before departure and the front desk had it safely back to me in no time) and the entire staff were attentive and more than happy to help. You also can't fault the location with Dingle and all it's great pubs and restaurants on your doorstep. Benners reminds of one of those great country town hotels of my childhood - updated for the age of the bucket lister. Part large B&B, part boutique hotel without the attitude - a real old school charmer. Highly recommended.

Io e la mia famiglia siamo rimasti qui per una notte, quindi non abbiamo visto tutte le strutture, ma abbiamo avuto un soggiorno meraviglioso. Abbiamo avuto due bagni molto spaziosi, senza spazi e camere molto grandi collegate a una porta interna. I letti erano comodi e l'aria condizionata era molto efficace durante l'onda di calore. Il colazione era bello e il personale era molto piacevole. È facile parcheggiare nel parcheggio fornito.

This hotel is excellent in so many ways. It is the perfect location and in walking distance to so many good things to do and see in Killarney. However, I am giving a huge shout out to the friendliness of all the staff. Beyond that, I left my ipad in a drawer and the people BEHIND the scenes are as great as those in the lobby, bar and restaurants. A special shout out to Noreen who went out of her way to help ship my iPad back to USA. This hotel is my top pick for a pleasant stay in every way!

Appena siamo arrivati siamo stati accolti da Maurice, persona gentilissima che si ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. La camera era accogliente, molto pulita e localizzata in una zona molto tranquilla. L’hotel era centralissimo, pieno di negozi e con parcheggi gratuti. È un posto che consiglio a tutti. L'hotel è più di quanto previsto, l'aspetto di un castello, la stanza è molto confortevole.Il ristorante dell'hotel e il colazione sono molto splendidi. accanto all'hotel c'è un supermercato e una stazione di benzina, che è molto adatto per guidare da solo.Lascia il centro della città 2.5 chilometri.

Trasporti: proprio nel parco forestale nazionale di Killerney, nessun hotel può andare nella foresta e assorbire ossigeno.Ma dev'essere necessario andare a terra, il trasporto non era conveniente. Ambiente: prima classe! Troppo piacevole!Anche se l'hotel è stato rinnovato per molti anni, ha conservato il sapore classico originale e ha iniettato nuova vitalità. Ogni posto riflette i dettagli, davvero molto bene! Mangiare: meglio di mangiare fuori, e mangiare meglio e pagare più equo.

A great few days post Christmas break at the killarney Royal ,first time myself and my wife stayed there ,a lovely small hotel with that was full of character and charm,we took a suite for a two day break,the staff at this hotel where amazing so welcoming ,we decided to eat at the hotel the second night ,the food was so delicious and presented so good, it's a little more expensive then other places we stayed, but wort every euro ,we had lovely chats with the staff ,a very good experience .

Highly recommend here. Check-in was quick & informative (Loui). The room was spotless with toilitries, tea, coffee, iron, hairdryer, jacozzi bath. etc. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive, and the dining area is comfortable and cosy. We dined in the bar, and our group were happy with their choice. I had the fish and chips, and it was delicious. All staff from reception to housekeeping were friendly, professional & courteous. Some of our group did use the leasure centre & were very complimentary about it.

My friend and I stayed there for 3 days as our beginning point to visit Kerry and Dingle area. Although old, it has everything you need, rooms are not very spacious, but the bathroom is modern and with all the facilities. Situated by the harbour, you are close to the nice walking by the sea. We’ve also had dinner there, and it was very good! The breakfast is including, you get large irish one, all kind of cereals. The only minus was for the not so nice salami and cheese you can get if you don’t fancy irish breakfast. Would come again!

This B&B is in the heart of Dingle. You come out of the front straight onto the seafront, and it has gorgeous views. We had a family room for 5 people - one of the reasons we chose it - and it was a good sized room. The staff were really friendly, and the rooms were very clean. A highlight was the breakfast! Full Irish (buffet) with continental (also buffet) plus cold meats/ cheese and smoked salmon. Yoghurt with a range of seeds, muesli and cereals, fresh fruit. And the option of fresh cooked porridge or waffles. All absolutely delicious! We all had a great stay - thank you!

Stayed on 3 nights b&b package with 2 evening meals. Hotel contacted us in advance to book times in restaurant for breakfasts and dinner. We booked breakfast for 10am each morning and dinners at 7.30pm. While breakfast times were adhered to by hotel, fried food, except eggs, was dried up and cold. We did not get to eat in restaurant for dinners. Could only get table in bar both nights. Menu was the exact same each night. My wife is a vegetarian with allergies to onions an red peppers. Very poor vegetarian options. We asked even if chef could do vegetarian stir fry with root vegetables that would suit and were available as they were on meat menus, it was very disappointing that such a simple request couldn't be facilitated. The hotel is very nice but the food standard and menus are very poor given that we paid close on €700 for the 3 night stay as well as spending close on an additional €150 for beverages and sea **** bath. Very disappointed overall

We stayed in this hotel in August 2024. Two of the best things about it: the view---amazing! Mountains and hills, and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. The other thing is the attached restaurant---we had dinner one night and it was great. The included breakfast was also amazing---made to order! Now the not so great....not bad, but we felt a little cheated. The room advertised a KING bed. We found out this is a UK-King, not a normal US-King bed. It was the same size as a US-Queen bed. Not a big deal, but they should mention that in the listing. The next thing: There is no AC in any of the rooms. Again, no mention of this in their listing. Not that much of a problem, because it was cool (mid 60's) during our stay, but in order to get the room cooled down, we had to leave the balcony door open, and there was no screen at all. Luckily, we had no birds, or bugs or who knows what in our room when we returned from our outings for the day. Also, on one of the days, it was raining, so the door couldn't stay open---it rained in the room if you did. Not ideal. We are a couple who likes to sleep in a very cold room---we always turn our hotel rooms down to 68 degrees or less when we sleep. Not sure we ever got below 70 in this room. Next....there is no mini-fridge in the room, and no icemaker in the hotel. We had to ask the front desk for any ice bucket, and they had it delivered from the restaurant to our room, but again, not ideal. Lastly, the room is very, very small---only 2 feet between the bed and the wall, so if you plan on spending any time in the room other than sleeping, it's very crowded. PS---this is a very old hotel---needs some updating. The carpet in our room looked new, so that was nice, but the walk to our room has some very old carpet, walls that need painted, and furniture that looks like it's from the 70's or 80's---and VERY well used. For a short stay (a day or two) it's fine, but any longer---stay at a more modern, updated hotel.

The tea/coffee with cakes upon arrival are a welcoming hug as you enter this charming home with views that are like a postcard. Phil meets you with her warm Irish smile and directs you to your well kept, comfortable room. We stayed downstairs in room 6. My family was in room 7 which is like a suite Micheal helps with the luggage with a joke or two and a kind sense of humor. Upon awakening you head toward the smells of fresh brewed coffee and breakfast to trump most all breakfasts in taste. I can say they made the one of the most delicious eggs Benedict’s in my history. Just around the corner is a pub and a walk along the magnificent cliffs. Phil lets you know all the things to do and how to get there. I loved my quiet time in the sitting room sipping coffee or Jameson and soaking in the views of the Atlantic, with sheep and ponies dotting the breathtaking landscape. Thank you Phil and Bernie for taking such good care of us.
