I had a fantastic stay at Doubletree Piccadilly in Manchester.From check in to check out,the staff were fantastic.Something small,like a delicious warm cookie at check in to the warmth of all the staff.The breakfast was gorgeous and plenty of it.The rooms were small in size,but perfectly appointed.Manchester had a heatwave at the time,so the fantastic air con was very welcome.I will be back

Great location in terms of connectivity, stayed there for a night in a standard room with a king size bed. There were no tea bags, water bottles, or a hair dryer. There was however an ironing table, iron, and TV. The room was quite clean and well maintained. The staff at the reception were very helpful and friendly. I could hold my luggage after check out, and the process was quite smooth. I would be happy to stay there again primarily due to its convenient location, I literally walked everywhere across the city due to this. Hardly even needed the public transport as everything was so easily reachable.

Location was excellent, very central and easy to get to on the free bus (number 2). Although the room was clean, at breakfast a glass came out of the dishwasher with lipstick still on it, which wasn’t checked before being put back out. The room is intimate with a pod like bathroom so you need to be comfortable with whoever you’re travelling with. Sleep quality was okay, the hotel was quiet but the bed is hard which made it difficult to sleep. They provide free tea and coffee, which can be accessed by a machine on each floor. For a non tea or coffee drinker it would have been nice if water was also provided. The breakfast was average but good vegan option. I recommend if you’re having breakfast to go down early because it seems to be cooked and lefted out on the bar for you to help yourself so didn’t look at it’s best by the time we came down at 9:30am. The staff were friendly and the restaurant/bar area make a great photo opportunity but I’d suggest going on a Sunday afternoon for a drink, if you want to maximise this when it’s quieter. I wouldn’t stay here again and if I did I’d definitely get breakfast elsewhere.

Ambiente: Ho prenotato una camera doppia con letti singoli e mi è stata data la possibilità di scegliere un piano alto o basso, il che è stato un punto a favore. L'unico inconveniente è che non ci sono finestre apribili, la stanza è completamente sigillata e per avere un ricambio d'aria bisogna usare l'aria condizionata. Igiene: Il bagno era pulito e la doccia spaziosa. La camera era abbastanza nuova. Posizione: A soli 3 minuti a piedi si trova una fermata dell'autobus, mentre altri mezzi di trasporto sono meno convenienti. Per raggiungere il centro città ci vogliono circa 20 minuti a piedi. L'hotel è vicino a una stazione che inizia per P.

Inoltre, l'atteggiamento del personale lasciava molto a desiderare. Quando ho chiesto informazioni su una luce rotta, la loro risposta è stata sprezzante e priva di ospitalità. Dire che è normale, le loro plafoniere principali non funzionano. Inoltre, quando ho chiesto consigli su dove acquistare le pantofole poiché l'hotel non le forniva, la risposta del personale è stata inutile, semplicemente rispondendo: ”basta uscire e cercare un negozio vicino, qualsiasi negozio che abbia pantofole.”
