Affordable and comfy backpacker place. Staff is friendly and fluent in English, no worries on communication. I stayed in 6ppl room(female only) which comes with a bathroom (this surprised me). And the booking comes with breakfast 🍳, nice! Environment is good but location is a bit far from central of Vang Vieng. But just a 10 mins walk if you don't mind.

Mad Monkey Vang Vieng has a fun and social atmosphere, and the staff are generally friendly and energetic. It’s a great place if you’re looking to meet new people and enjoy the party vibe. However, some areas could use improvement. The rooms and facilities can feel a bit worn, and cleanliness is inconsistent at times. Depending on when you stay, noise levels can be quite high especially from other visitors, even late at night, something to keep in mind if you’re hoping for rest. Overall, it’s a lively hostel with a strong social scene, but not the best choice if comfort and quiet are your main priorities.

Excellent location- few steps to 7-11, mini mart and ATM; plenty of cafes and local food shops along the same street, 5 min to night market. Great breakfast- 5 types of fruits and decent portions of eggs breakfast to choose from. Coffee, tea, juice available during breakfast time. Reception- helpful, English speaking staffs Cleanliness- considered very good, washroom and shower room are clean and not wet. Vibe- mostly teenagers to westerners aged 20’s, who seem get along and enjoy spending time at lobby area during evening till late Downsides 1)AC off from 10am to 6pm; renovation of swimming pool started from 8am and it’s hard to chill or relax at lobby area during my 2 days stay. 2)Sleep- my room is the nearest to lobby area, the guests were loud talking, laughing the whole night till 2am + on my first night( I couldn’t fall asleep at all) the 2nd night karaoke and music bombarded from 9pm to 11pm, thereafter guests continued talking and laughing loud till late. Perhaps earplugs and eye mask could help with coping the downsides, given the overall consideration, it’s not bad for a quick night stay.

I booked a one person private room and very pleased with the bed. The shower on the other had is very bad. Toilet is right next to the shower and if you want to sit on the toilet you need to adjust yourself so you can fit. It’s a a small corner. There were also some ants in the room.

Un buon hotel per il bagagliaio, le strutture sono vecchie, ma è il prezzo.C'è una bella piscina.La mattina mangia colazione gratuita accanto alla piscina, e bagagli e caffè gratis.La posizione è buona, proprio nel centro della città. E'molto conveniente mangiare e comprare.C'e'un percorso di aereo abbandonato.C'e'una città di ghiaccio alla porta.E' praticamente straniera.Non ho visto nessuno.La casa dei bagagli, Santana.Infatti, e'una famiglia.Ci sono anche alcuni punti sulla mappa. Non so perche'prendi cosi' tanti nomi.Devo andare a casa.Dormire è ancora tranquillo.I compagni di culo sono fondamentalmente silenziosi.

Potrei tornare a vivere in questo hotel a causa del delizioso colazione dell'hotel 👍👍👍. Il 3° piano dell'hotel è un sacco di bagagli. Se sei una persona, presto troverai turisti di paesi che viaggiano da solo nella stanza, molto amichevole, che può accompagnarsi. Ci sono negozi di ristoranti su entrambi i lati della strada, Cina, lati, Corea del Sud e bar. 300 metri di distanza diretta sono il mercato notturno. È molto conveniente comprare alcuni piccoli oggetti locali caratterizzati

Nice little guesthouse by the river.It is a short walk to move restaurants and the main area of vang vieng. It is clean, quiet and has a pool which is very basic. Better to swim in the river by the tubing bar.
