I stayed here four nights in the 10-person dorm and honestly it was great! The ladies who take care of the place are wonderful and they keep everything clean. It's so much better to have actual people working here than many of the self-checkin places popping up where if anything goes wrong it can just become a big ordeal. The bunks themselves are nice, sturdy, and private with curtain, light, international charging socket, and a small locker (use your own lock) with enough room for my laptop, tablet, drone, camera, and documents. There's no kitchen, but they have a small microwave, water kettle, and small refrigerator. And of course the location is literally right across the street from the subway entrance and many eateries are all either within the block or a block away.

I recently stayed at YHA Jockey Club Mt. Davis Youth Hostel, and it was an experience worth sharing! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle while still being within reach of all the action, this is the place to be. What I Loved: ✅ Breathtaking Views: The hostel is perched on Mt. Davis, offering panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, especially at sunrise and sunset—absolutely stunning! ✅ Affordable & Great Value: Compared to most accommodations in Hong Kong, this hostel offers great value for money, making it a budget-friendly option for travellers. ✅ Tranquil Atmosphere: Unlike hotels in the city centre, this place is surrounded by nature, perfect for those who want a relaxing stay. ✅ Friendly Staff: The hostel staff were welcoming and helpful, providing useful tips on getting around. ✅ Outdoor Common Area: There’s a nice outdoor area where you can sit back, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the views. A Few Things to Note: 🔹 Location & Transport: Since the hostel is located on a hill, getting there requires taking a shuttle bus (provided by the hostel) or a taxi. If you prefer a more adventurous route, a scenic hike up Mt. Davis is an option, of course please do it during the day time. 🔹 Basic Amenities: This is a youth hostel, so don’t expect luxury. The rooms are simple but clean, with basic beds and shared facilities. Bring your own toiletries for added comfort. 🔹 Limited Dining Options: There isn’t a restaurant on-site, so it’s best to bring your own food or plan to eat before heading up. The common kitchen is available for light meal prep. 🔹 WIFI coverage & Speed, the signal in room is very pool, I started a 10 mins YouTube video at night and cannot reach to the end after sun rise. Overall Experience: If you're an adventurer, a backpacker, or someone looking for a quiet escape with fantastic views, I highly recommend this hostel. It may not be for those seeking high-end comforts, but for nature lovers and budget-conscious travellers, it’s a hidden gem on Hong Kong Island! 🌿🏙️ Would I stay here again? Yes! Just be prepared for the location challenge, but once you get there, the views are totally worth it.

Molto sincero ricevitore. I servizi sono grandi per il Standard Youth Hostel. Amore la zona della comunità e cucina. Buono per gruppi o famiglie.

Overall good stay, has all the amenities. As it is mostly self serviced I rated the service not the maximum. Supposedly there are other tenants and we share everything but I had not seen any

L'edificio è stato probabilmente costruito negli anni '80 e '90 e i corridoi assomigliano a quelli di normali edifici antichi, come previsto. Ma l'interno dell'hotel è relativamente pulito e anche mia moglie, che è sempre stata misofobica, ha detto che era bello. Tutto al piano di sotto è molto comodo ed economico.

Tung Chung - 2 notti - camera doppia privata Aspettative/Realtà: questo è l'unico fornitore di alloggi in zona, quindi le aspettative devono essere gestite. Hanno la possibilità di stabilire le condizioni, quindi le recensioni negative qui provengono probabilmente da persone che non hanno letto la descrizione. Tuttavia, l'ostello mi ha contattato tramite WhatsApp diversi giorni prima della prenotazione chiedendo la quota associativa di 150 dollari e un deposito di 500 dollari, che non mi sentivo a mio agio a fornire prima dell'arrivo, ma l'ostello ha accettato.
