Casa Cody was truly one of the most charming and memorable hotels I've ever stayed at. If you're looking for a peaceful boutique hotel with character, this is the perfect place. From the moment we walked through the gates, it felt like a hidden oasis in the middle of Palm Springs. The beautifully landscaped gardens, mature palm trees, colorful flowers, and stunning mountain views created such a relaxing atmosphere. It's hard to believe you're just a few minutes' walk from downtown because the property feels so private and quiet. Our room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Every detail—from the comfortable bed and luxurious linens to the high-quality bath amenities—made the stay feel special. The room had so much personality, unlike the typical chain hotel experience. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel at home from check-in to check-out and were always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. One of my favorite parts of the stay was enjoying the complimentary breakfast by the pool each morning. Sitting outside with fresh pastries, fruit, coffee, and the peaceful desert surroundings was the perfect way to start the day. The pools were beautiful, quiet, and never felt crowded, making it easy to completely relax. The location is unbeatable. Downtown Palm Springs, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and local attractions are all within easy walking distance, yet the hotel remains wonderfully calm and secluded. We barely needed to use our car during our stay. Casa Cody has a unique charm that larger luxury resorts simply can't replicate. The combination of rich history, beautiful grounds, exceptional hospitality, and peaceful atmosphere made this one of my favorite hotel experiences. I left feeling completely refreshed and already looking forward to returning. If you're visiting Palm Springs and want a boutique hotel that feels authentic, romantic, and relaxing, I can't recommend Casa Cody highly enough.

Location, cleanliness & facility good/clean. Property description (at the time we booked in April 2025 for July 2025 stay) ”valley view.” No valley view that we could see from our room or anywhere on the property. There is no front desk or live check-in, you have to know to check a chalkboard on the side of what looks like the office. Communication w/the property is to be by text only. We reserved a cabin with 1 queen / 2 twin beds, what we got was 1 queen & a sofa bed (horrible sleep as expected which is why we wanted the two twins). We questioned the reservation (via text) and were told we got what was reserved. After sending a screenshot of our reservation the reply text was ”you can stop by the office if you want”). As we got out of the car the daughter was heard saying ”WELL, I guess we have to DEAL WITH THIS now.” It went downhill from there. We were told it was Trip.com fault (it was not, we confirmed w/Trip.com). Then the manager wanted to argue about why we wouldn't want to sleep on a sofa bed (does it matter? it's not what we reserved) and called one guest ”Hon” repeatedly / condescendingly until asked not to - the daughter jumped in at that point with an escalated attitude. The Manager insisted it was trip.com fault and then said ”we don't even offer twin beds.” So, room was misrepresented to begin with. UNFORTUNATELY, and they knew it, ALL rooms in the area were sold out & we were there for a scheduled event, we had no choice but to stay. AGAIN THIS IS NOT TRIP.COM FAULT, this is the property fault. BE AWARE that all the restaurants have posted hours on their website but may no be accurate, plan to check the location early as they post handwritten signs indicating the current day hours. On a weekend they were closed up before 5pm (some at 3pm), had to travel several towns over to eat. Good idea to bring dinner type food with you just in case. BASSETT'S a good place to eat, cafe w/good food/good prices, small store & gas pump. Dos Hermanos in Sierraville also good. Both several miles away from Yuba River Inn but worth the drive.

環境跟設施不能跟一般的旅館相提並論，但是我還是覺得非常幸運能找到這個地方。 我在一個long weekend，預訂了洛杉磯的另外一間飯店（不是透過***********)，到了現場他們卻告訴我說已經沒有房間了，所以我要再找另外的地方住。但是貴是一回事，甚至是沒有房間了。最後選擇了這一間，預訂成功到入住隔不到半小時的時間，但是他們非常明快地幫我安排好了房間，還問我幾點到，車子抵達的時候還有兩個人站在門口等我，跟我講中文，還幫我推行李。歷經一整天訂房風波的我都快哭了。 房間的感覺是很像在外地借住朋友家的那種感覺，但床是舒服的，房間也有暖氣。可能他們也知道我那天折騰了很久，抵達的時候也沒有跟我說什麼規則，甚至沒有規定我隔天幾點要離開，就讓我一個人在房間休息，感覺我們好像認識了很久一樣😂隔天接近中午，當然也沒有什麼電話催你要退房，我好像都沒有看到有其他人在，我就把鑰匙插在房間門口上，推著行李就離開了。感覺老闆是很隨性的一個人（which I like)，也謝謝老闆讓我President Day加上Valentine day 的 long weekend 不至於流落街頭，也祝老闆生意興隆。

Siamo stati molto delusi che la nostra stanza fosse un volo di scalini. Mio marito e io non possiamo portare il bagaglio un volo di scalini. Grazie a Dio ci è stato dato una stanza diversa. La stanza era molto pulita e pulita ma piccola. Non c'è posto per mettere il bagaglio. La luce sopra il letto non funzionava. Abbiamo solo due riscaldatori portatili. Uno di loro lavorava solo per un po' di tempo. La nostra stanza era fredda. Il parcheggio era inclinato a rendere difficile arrivare e uscire dalla nostra auto. C'era un bellissimo soggiorno con mobili bellissimi, tra cui snack, ma era piuttosto freddo. Non c'era riscaldamento disponibile. Per la nostra mobilità limitata, ci siamo trasferiti solo 2 delle quattro notti che abbiamo pagato. Abbiamo organizzato un altro hotel. Alcune informazioni online non sono accurate. Non è compatibile con ADA. Non si può camminare negli Stati in 200 piedi come indicato. Il nostro soggiorno che celebra il nostro 55° anniversario è stato molto stressante. Non sono uno che dare un giudizio negativo. Mi sto perdendo il modo di assicurare che il lavoro e l'attività siano notati al lavoro e che non rimarrò più li'.

Il limite del parcheggio gratuito, può essere fermato presto, e l'obiettivo è di misurare circa dieci parcheggi ～ fortunatamente non è stato scaricato.L'hotel è pulito, mi sento ancora sicuro, la stanza non ha neve, ma c'è ghiaccio gratuito fornito.La debolezza è che non c'è un ventilatore (a proposito, non ho trovato 😂)

The location is great right by the water. The 2 bed condo is very large and very fun during the day although feels a little creepy at night, but maybe that's just because of the area we're in. It would have been cool to be able to go up to the attic since it overlooks the living room, but perhaps that's not accessible for safety reasons.

One of the few hotels in Big Sur that allow you to book a one-night stay on a weekend so this is a huge plus. No reception nor staff on site when you check in - keys are left in a key box outside your assigned room (which you will be informed of a couple days before your arrival). If you need help during your stay, your only option is emailing them. Rooms are dated but clean. No dining options on site so either eat before you arrive, bring supplies, or be prepared to drive ＞20min for the nearest restaurant. Breakfast is left in a cabinet by the parking lot for self help. You get a slice of cake, boiled eggs, fruit and bottled juice. In short, you're paying for location.

Il parcheggio è stato anche molto conveniente. In generale, un bel soggiorno e una grande scelta per chiunque cerca una via tranquilla.

Siamo arrivati appena dopo 5. Nessuno era presente, anche se Checkin è da 3-6 sul sito web. Abbiamo trovato le chiavi sotto il mat. Hanno inviato un email, ma è stato tardi per arrivare perché non abbiamo avuto servizio di guida a Napa. Su questo sito si parla di un minibar complimentare. Non c'è nessuno. Ci sono alcune cose nella nostra stanza che devono essere fissate. Bello posto, ma credo di aver aspettato un po' di più. Balancio nel bagno cadendo e la luce dal tubo cadendo fuori. Great spot for visiting in Calistoga. Not sure about trip.com and what’s offered being current either. Lesson learned.
