Oman: hotel con palestra nella provincia di Mascate

My recent stay at the Mandarin Oriental Muscat was overall enjoyable, with several notable highlights. The hotel’s location near the beachfront is fantastic, offering stunning views of Muscat and the surrounding mountains. The interiors are beautifully designed, featuring natural materials that create a luxurious and calming atmosphere. The rooms were ultra-comfortable, with excellent beds and top-quality linens that made for a great night’s sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful in-room amenities, including good tea, a Nespresso machine, and water in glass bottles—a healthy and eco-friendly touch. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner provided were of great quality, and the dental kits were decent. However, I did notice that some toothpaste tubes weren’t fresh, as the paste had become solid and dry in a few sets. Additionally, the shaving kit was of the cheapest level, which didn’t align with the otherwise high standards of the hotel. Breakfast was good but not quite up to the level typically expected from Mandarin Oriental. There’s definitely room for improvement here, but I believe this is something the hotel will refine over time. The staff were polite and professional, which added to the overall positive experience. Considering the hotel is still new, I’d rate the overall experience, including the price/value ratio, as 3.5 out of 5. I’m confident that with time, the hotel will address these minor gaps and elevate the experience to match the impeccable standards the brand is known for.

Le camere sono spaziose e in buone condizioni, la posizione è un po' remota, c'è poca scelta di ristoranti nella zona circostante poiché la maggior parte è aperta solo la sera. Ho trascorso lì solo una notte perché il volo in coincidenza era solo 15 ore dopo per un breve soggiorno di nuovo.

Very good service with very kind staff at reception

I like this hotel that has a lot of good features. I booked on half board dinner is awful. It cost me 10 extra dollars to book dinner and breakfast and really the dinner wasn't worth the $5 if you divide the meals evenly. The fish was putrid and the selection was substandard. I did manage to get $5 worth of food out of the dinner buffet. I like eggplant luckily. The room's very nice they have two pools one for women only which I would never use and they don't sell alcohol here. Those are the bad points. The room isn't very good condition The housekeeper is a very nice man. The added benefit to staying in this hotel is that it does have one washer and one dryer and I have three loads of filthy clothes. I'm in the process of doing my last load currently. Another bad thing about this hotel is they block you from using the Wi-Fi the minute you step outside so you could use their overpriced taxis. You have to use the Wi-Fi from inside that way you can access your taxi apps and not use the overprice taxis here. The taxis are about 80% more. I would stay here again due to the low price of the bookingand the good condition of the room. Skip dinner there is a fantastic Turkish place in the nearest mall that's about an 8 minute walk..

Accanto al centro commerciale è il punto positivo, il resto è nella media. Anche una stanza per non fumatori ha odore. Dobbiamo cambiare stanza due volte. Il personale è disponibile, la colazione è nella media. Il Grand Millennio a Bangkok è molto meglio.

Hotel assolutamente fantastico. Dal momento in cui abbiamo fatto il check-in, la receptionist ci ha accolto con un sorriso caloroso. Ha reso il nostro soggiorno il più confortevole possibile La colazione era deliziosa con una varietà di scelta. Il personale in tutto l'hotel era eccellente! Hotel molto pulito. La posizione era perfetta. La vista dalla piscina era mozzafiato, con vista sulle montagne e sulle principali attrazioni. È stata fornita una navetta gratuita per il centro commerciale, il che è stato un piccolo comfort in più. Grazie!

Settimana deludente in un hotel deludente. Dal momento in cui siamo atterrati in Oman, l'hotel intercontinentale non ci ha aiutato. Quando abbiamo chiesto un taxi, non ci hanno aiutato e abbiamo dovuto organizzarci da soli. Quando abbiamo chiesto se avevamo una vista mare, ci è stato detto ”avevamo una vista parziale sul mare”, che in realtà era un parcheggio e un generatore rumoroso che ha continuato a sbattere per tutta la notte. Il generatore era così rumoroso che abbiamo dovuto tenere le porte del balcone sempre chiuse. Tuttavia, una notte, anche con le porte chiuse, siamo rimasti svegli fino alle 3 del mattino a causa di forti scoppi e rumori del personale dell'hotel che caricava i furgoni con i mobili dopo un evento in hotel. Quando abbiamo chiesto di prenotare i ristoranti in loco, ci è stato detto che erano tutti chiusi tranne quello principale. Più volte quando siamo andati al ristorante principale ci è stato detto che era troppo affollato e che dovevamo aspettare e tornare più tardi. Quando siamo entrati nel ristorante, spesso abbiamo dovuto aspettare a lungo perché il cibo venisse sostituito o ci hanno dato bicchieri di carta perché erano finiti i bicchieri! Quando abbiamo provato ad avere il WiFi in piscina, non c'era. Quando abbiamo provato a usare le creme in camera, erano finite. Il personale era adorabile e il cibo era buono, ma nel complesso non ci siamo sentiti accuditi e sicuramente non pensiamo che questo sia un hotel a 5 stelle.

The hotel has a great charm and deep feeling of its history which corresponds to its classic design. The territory is not big, but well enough for a city and business hotel, there was a swimming pool outside and inside. We booked a club room, which was a very nice. Breakfast was delicious with variety of cheese, hot bites, and even salmon, as well as fruits and fresh juices. Hotel staff was very kind and professional.

Geweldig! Uitstekende service. Locatie wel wat minder maar met auto alles goed te doen.

L'hotel di Mascotte è nuovo, ha soggiornato due notti, a circa 30 chilometri dall'aeroporto, prezzo medio. La camera non è grande e piccola, cioè, la colazione è davvero costosa.
