Very great location, just next to Oita station. DORMY inn always with same level and great service. With spring, RAMEN during late night, free coffee for whole day. If you can accept the price, I think it's a good and valuable choice.

I recently stayed at Kannawaen Sanso Ryokan, and it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm hospitality made me feel welcomed and relaxed. The ryokan is set in a beautiful, serene location, surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful retreat from daily life. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated in traditional Japanese style, blending modern comforts with authentic charm. The private onsen attached to my room was a highlight, allowing me to unwind in soothing hot springs while taking in the picturesque views. What truly sets Kannawaen apart is the attention to detail and personalized service. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, making me feel truly cared for throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a luxurious, tranquil getaway with impeccable service and a true Japanese experience, I highly recommend Kannawaen Sanso Ryokan. It’s a place we would love to visit again. Note: they provide shuttle from/to station with time slot! Convenient

Ci sono voluti circa 15 minuti a piedi per la stazione di autobus Yufuin e è stato difficile muoversi con un vettore. ㅠㅠ Ma il letto Yufuin Tei era pulito e c'era una primavera calda privata. Ci erano poche persone nella primavera calda, quindi era così facile da usare. C'era un posto per fumare nel check-in, quindi ha un po' odore. Il servizio era amichevole e non c'era personale coreano. Non ho niente da mangiare, solo bistecche per cena. Ho avuto un buon colazione.

Fantastic accommodation. There's 5 onsen that you can try out during your stay. Food is really good with free flow alcohol for dinner. Really sweet of the staff to prepare snacks and a complimentary Polaroid shot when you check out. Everything is just so comfortable and fuss-free.

Questo è il miglior alloggio durante il mio viaggio a Beppu e Yufuin. Il personale osserva attentamente e corta gli ospiti senza alcun onere. Il colazione che mangio mentre guardavo il Monte. Yufu era perfetto, e il bagno di famiglia che potevo prenotare due volte era anche pulito e molto bello.

1. un pasto speciale è disponibile solo come pacchetto per scegliere una stanza di stile giapponese. L'abbiamo prenotato, ma alla fine ci è stato detto che non c'era altro pasto, tranne il buffet di cena. Questo è stato estremamente frustrato perché non ci riservaremmo questo pacchetto se lo fosse. 2. La stanza di stile giapponese sul secondo piano, fuori da una copertina di zinco, abbiamo sofferto il suono di pioggia pesante sulla copertina di zinco. 3. solo ventilazione calda, che era estremamente incomoda, a meno che non l'avessi spostata e aprita la finestra, che rende il rumore di goccia sempre più grande. Non possiamo dormire tutta la notte.

good value for money! would definitely stay again location: it's relatively further from the station , around a 8-10min walk. there is a 7-11 just around the corner room: my room came without a bathroom but for the ladies are 3 cubicles shared among the 7 mix gendered guests on the floor. i did not have to wait in line at all. there was more than enough space in the room to open my suitcase wide and still feel comfortable. bed and pillow was a bit hard though, and you can hear anyone talking loudly downstairs outside the building as the room is on 2nd floor, tho that doesnt happen very often. food: amazing balanced breakfast that changes everyday - really delicious! onsen: the one on 2F was smaller than 1F, but very good and comfortable. clean too. you can book a private onsen room for 500yen (50mins) staff: all of them were super friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. there are english-proficient staff available 24H as well :)

The owner couple is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home right away. I was greeted by a new roommate and the owner even took us on a night tour to Kinrin Lake and Floral Village, which was such a lovely surprise. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, and the couple’s romantic gesture of singing a beautiful thank-you song before you leave just adds a special touch. Their voices are stunning, and it truly makes you want to return
