Ho appena concluso un fantastico soggiorno di 4 giorni al citizenM San Francisco e, sinceramente, avrei voluto prenotare lì l'intero viaggio! Il personale è stato eccezionalmente disponibile, offrendo un'esperienza di check-in/check-out impeccabile e tenendomi volentieri i bagagli per ore, sia prima che dopo il soggiorno. Per quanto riguarda la camera, aveva le dimensioni perfette per un viaggiatore singolo come me e sarebbe perfetta anche per le coppie. Sebbene la camera in sé non sia ideale come spazio di lavoro, l'hotel offre numerose aree di lavoro condivise nella hall al piano inferiore. Mi sono sentito completamente al sicuro durante tutto il mio soggiorno, con il personale all'ingresso 24 ore su 24. La zona circostante era notevolmente migliore rispetto alla maggior parte delle zone di San Francisco al momento. Upon check-in, I was asked to pay for the room, which I did. However, I noticed the amount charged was higher than the total from my original booking. I asked the receptionist (I believe his name was Raul, though I’m not entirely sure) why that was. I explained the amount I had been quoted during booking. He then mentioned, almost as an afterthought, that a $150 deposit is taken at check-in. I told him this should have been communicated before processing the payment, as it’s standard practice to inform guests of such charges upfront. While I wasn’t pleased, I went ahead and paid. I also mentioned that I had submitted a request in advance for a room away from the elevator with a good view. He told me the hotel was fully booked, which confused me, since I had booked well in advance and included my request at the time. He assigned me Room 503, which was directly across from the elevator, not away from it. I didn’t want to complain as I had just traveled over 12 hours from London to San Diego and was extremely tired. I planned to grab some dinner and get straight to bed. However, the room was quite noisy—there was a lot of hallway activity, and the family next door had their TV volume quite high. I decided not to go downstairs and complain, hoping I could just fall asleep. Unfortunately, I was woken up around 3 a.m. by a crying child, and again at 5 a.m. At that point, I was extremely frustrated and went to speak to the receptionist on duty, Matthew. I explained everything to him, and he was very understanding. He said there was availability and offered to move me immediately…this was surprising, considering the earlier claim that the hotel was full. He moved me to Room 204. While it wasn’t far from the elevator either, he assured me it would be quieter since there were no large families on that floor. He was right—the room was much more peaceful, and I appreciated his help. At checkout, I saw the same receptionist who had checked me in and decided not to approach him. Instead, I spoke to Antonio at the other desk. I asked about the deposit, and he informed me it would take 2–3 business days to be released. Naturally, I wasn’t thrilled to hear this, especially after the earlier issues, so I shared my entire experience with him. He apologized sincerely and mentioned the initial receptionist may need additional training, which they would look into. Overall, the stay was decent for a short 3-night visit, but the start could have been handled much better.

I love this place. The staff is incredibly kind, everyone I interacted with went above and beyond in making me and my friend comfortable. The hotel is clean, smells great, was quiet and peaceful.

Ci sono stato per una notte, e la stanza era super confortevole e silenziosa! Ci sono metro e autobus nelle vicinanze ed è molto facile esplorare la città!

Great hotel with a lot of restaurants nearby. It’s a bit far from LA but the drive is really not bad if you plan your day correctly. It is excellent for Disney land as they offer amazing shuttle services with amazing drivers! Rooms were very good! Cons: I didn’t like the Keurig coffee machine it look a bit dirty and I wish they offered complementary coffee. I had pay 3-4$ every morning for coffee. I hope they upgrade the laundry room and add apple pay as carrying 25 cents coins was annoying.

Casa Cody was truly one of the most charming and memorable hotels I've ever stayed at. If you're looking for a peaceful boutique hotel with character, this is the perfect place. From the moment we walked through the gates, it felt like a hidden oasis in the middle of Palm Springs. The beautifully landscaped gardens, mature palm trees, colorful flowers, and stunning mountain views created such a relaxing atmosphere. It's hard to believe you're just a few minutes' walk from downtown because the property feels so private and quiet. Our room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Every detail—from the comfortable bed and luxurious linens to the high-quality bath amenities—made the stay feel special. The room had so much personality, unlike the typical chain hotel experience. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel at home from check-in to check-out and were always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. One of my favorite parts of the stay was enjoying the complimentary breakfast by the pool each morning. Sitting outside with fresh pastries, fruit, coffee, and the peaceful desert surroundings was the perfect way to start the day. The pools were beautiful, quiet, and never felt crowded, making it easy to completely relax. The location is unbeatable. Downtown Palm Springs, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and local attractions are all within easy walking distance, yet the hotel remains wonderfully calm and secluded. We barely needed to use our car during our stay. Casa Cody has a unique charm that larger luxury resorts simply can't replicate. The combination of rich history, beautiful grounds, exceptional hospitality, and peaceful atmosphere made this one of my favorite hotel experiences. I left feeling completely refreshed and already looking forward to returning. If you're visiting Palm Springs and want a boutique hotel that feels authentic, romantic, and relaxing, I can't recommend Casa Cody highly enough.
