⭐⭐⭐½ — Pricia Resort Yoron, Japan My stay at Pricia Resort on Yoron Island was a mixed but overall pleasant experience. The location is undeniably stunning — crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and the kind of tropical scenery that makes you feel completely removed from the everyday hustle. The standout of the entire trip was without a doubt the staff - Tana, Takumi, Hoshi. From check-in to check-out, every team member was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make my stay special. They went above and beyond with local recommendations and were always on hand with a smile. Breakfast is great with lots of choices on buffet. There is also all day lounge to get free drinks and nuts. The resort itself has real charm and a wonderful atmosphere, but it’s clear that the facilities are showing their age. Several areas would benefit significantly from renovation — from the rooms to the common areas, a refresh would bring the physical experience in line with the exceptional service and natural beauty surrounding it. That said, if you’re looking for a peaceful island escape with a welcoming team and breathtaking scenery, Pricia Resort still delivers. With some investment in the property, this could easily be one of the best resort experiences in southern Japan. Recommended for: nature lovers, snorkeling enthusiasts, and travelers seeking an off-the-beaten-path Japanese island escape. A must visit - Yurigahama Beach! Uninhabited place and this is the iconic beach of Yoron.

My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers. Once again, big big thanks to Mr. Kubota and his team of beautiful people. By the way, good breakfast and dinner, both in terms of the menu as well as service and venue.

Had a great stay at Daiwa. The location is so great. It’s across the street from the airport bus stop. Across the street is all The Kagoshima Island View hop on and hop off bus stop, and buses/trams to Sakurajima, Kagoshima Chuo train station. It’s right next to the Tenmonkan shopping arcade and tons of food and bar options. You can also walk to so many tourist attractions. You can’t go wrong with this hotel based on location alone. The rooms are bigger than average and clean. The washrooms especially were an impressive size with great appliances from Reha. There are so many amenities to choose from at the front desk lotions to hair milk to Epsom salt, different coffee pods and tea bags. There is a self serve laundry on the 8th floor that costs 600 yen. The hotel is quiet for the fact that it’s located in the center of all the action. My room had a beautiful view of Sakurajima and the city. Will definitely stay here next time I come to Kagoshima!

Anche se i miei figli amano o non amano le richieste precedenti, sono molto utili. Art Hotel Kagoshima offers a very positive stay overall, largely thanks to its outstanding staff, who consistently went out of their way to assist and make guests feel welcome. I strongly recommend requesting a room with a view of Sakurajima—one of Japan’s most active volcanoes—as waking up to this dramatic landscape is truly priceless. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby bus routes. While the rooms are comfortable, the building is clearly dated and would benefit from significant renovations to better match the quality of service.

Quattro amiche ed io abbiamo prenotato una camera quadrupla ed è stata assolutamente fantastica! Era spaziosa, con un'enorme doccia privata, una sauna e una vasca per l'acqua fredda. La colazione era a menù fisso. La posizione dell'hotel era tranquilla ma comoda, a soli dieci minuti a piedi dalla via dello shopping. Ho adorato lo stile di FAV e non vedo l'ora di tornare in montagna durante le vacanze invernali!

Hotel in ottima posizione, vicino alla stazione di Kagoshima-Chuo e al molo dei traghetti per le isole; il tram passa proprio di fronte. Hotel molto elegante con servizio a 5 stelle, personale attento. La camera è compatta (non adatta a bagagli di grandi dimensioni) ma molto ben arredata, con tutti i comfort essenziali. Colazione di ottima qualità a un costo aggiuntivo, ma un po' cara (2200 yen). Biancheria da letto di buone dimensioni e confortevole. Camera perfettamente insonorizzata e climatizzata. Nessuna finestra in camera, tranne in bagno (che non si apre). Bustine di tè disponibili alla reception.

È stato un ottimo soggiorno. La gestione dell’hotel è stata eccellente e la stanza è stata in buona condizione. Voglio dare una menzione speciale alla signorina Gotanda Vanti田, che mi ha guidato dopo l’iscrizione. Le sue spiegazioni dettagliate e il suo sorriso caldo hanno dato un tono positivo anche prima di entrare. La prossima volta tornerò certamente.

Questo hotel è anche un posto dove potete cucinare i vostri pasti, e gli utensili da cucina sono adeguati. La camera è spaziosa, quindi potete sistemare i bagagli. La lavatrice dell'hotel ha anche un'asciugatrice, il che è molto comodo. Si trova a 10-15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione JR. Di fronte alla stazione c'è un supermercato Aeon, che offre grandi sconti alle 20:00 (ma è anche affollato). Potete preparare lì la cena e la colazione (non è necessario prenotare la colazione in hotel).
