Had an amazing stay at JR Hotel Clement Takamatsu. Everything about this hotel deserves a perfect score. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The location is incredibly convenient — right next to Takamatsu Station, making it super easy to explore the city and nearby attractions like Ritsurin Garden. The service was top-notch from check-in to check-out. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The amenities were impressive as well — comfortable beds, great facilities, and everything you’d expect from a high-quality hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Takamatsu. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

We have stayed in many Daiwa Roynet Hotels in Japan, and we’ve trusted the Daiwa Roynet brand very much. However, the Takamatsu property is the worst we’ve experienced so far, and after this stay we will be more cautious about choosing to stay at Daiwa Roynet in the future. The facilities are very old and urgently need refurbishment. The cleanliness of our room was also quite shocking. There was hair in the bathroom and bathtub, and hair on the pajamas they provided, as shown in the photo. There were stains throughout the room as well. The bedding used is also smaller than the bed as shown in the picture. If you’re planning day trips to the islands, the hotel isn’t very close to the port. There are plenty of shops nearby, though, so the overall location is ok.

Il bagno in loco è senza spot e offre anche gratis crema di ghiaccio, che è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Il colazione è incredibilmente ricco e vario, con qualcosa per tutti. In generale, un fantastico soggiorno avrei sicuramente tornato!

Hotel is dated, but well maintained and very clean. Room is of decent size for what we are paying. Can’t say it is spacious. Location is a good 10 to 15min walk to the Takamatsu port depending on your pace. Breakfast is a little disappointing with very limited proteins. Western choices also very limited. Paid extra if you don’t pre-booked a day ahead.

One of the highlights of the hotel is the onsen facilities. There are both indoor and outdoor onsens, though they are not large, they create a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. I also had free Japanese noodles and ice creams at night times. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

The hotel’s service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The scenery was breathtaking, offering stunning views that made every moment special. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, featuring delicious dishes that showcased local flavors. To top it off, they surprised us by preparing a famous local cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday, which was a delightful and thoughtful touch. Everything was perfectly arranged, and their attention to detail truly impressed us. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a remarkable experience.

The location of the hotel is very close to the central walking shopping district. However, it is not close to the tram or train. The closet tram station is about 7 minutes walk. Next to the hotel you can find a spot for renting bicycles. The rooms are quite small. It has a Japanese style shower, so a shower can be taken standing or seated. The hotel slippers are very flimsy, so better take your own slippers. Buffet breakfasts are ok. Last orders are at 9am, but the food trays are literally empty at 8:45am. So you may want to get there early.

L'ultima cosa che non posso accettare è che quando prenota questo hotel, è stato pagato per soggiornare, pagato ufficialmente quando è arrivato sul posto, e poi aspettare 3-35 di organizzare il ritorno della strada originale per giorni. Ho aspettato un mese, non ho ancora recuperato i soldi. Secondo il servizio clienti trip.com, il soldo non è stato rimborsato perché non c'è un deposito all'hotel, quindi ho solo aspettato. Questo mi rende molto incomprensibile, quindi non ho un punto pieno ... sul servizio
