Хорошая локация, близко до старого города, отличная современная ванна. Очень плохой интернет, невозможно работать удаленно. Несколько раз писал хозяину, один день полностью игнорировал меня, на второй ответил что придет специалист и наладит, но интернет лучше ратовать не стал. Очень мягкий и неудобный матрас и еще куча муравьев в номере. Есть бесплатная парковка вдоль улицы, где расположены апартаменты.

From the moment you walk through the gates, you’re greeted by beautifully landscaped gardens that immediately create a sense of calm. We received the warmest welcome from the staff, setting the tone for what turned out to be a perfect stay. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had incredibly comfortable beds. The shower deserves a special mention – quite possibly the best hotel shower I’ve ever experienced! The rooms are also exceptionally well soundproofed, so once you’re inside, it’s wonderfully peaceful, ensuring a fantastic night’s sleep. The location is ideal. It’s just a couple of minutes’ stroll to the harbour, bars, restaurants, and the water taxi to Zlatni Rat Beach. If you prefer to walk, it’s around 30 minutes along the beautiful coastal path. This end of Bol feels a little quieter than the centre, making it perfect if you’re looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a more relaxed pace. Breakfast is served on a beautiful sheltered terrace with plenty of choice. There are delicious homemade cakes (the banana bread is an absolute must!), along with freshly cooked eggs prepared however you like them. The real highlight, however, was the hospitality. Every single member of staff was genuinely warm, friendly, and welcoming. A special mention has to go to Nick, who consistently went above and beyond throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his attention to detail is second to none. As a travel agent, I’ve stayed in countless hotels over the years, and Villa Giardino is genuinely one of the best. In my opinion, it deserves a well-earned 10/10. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would simply be the addition of a swimming pool—but the great news is that one is already being built and is due to open early next year. This is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality. My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable: * Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector.This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant * In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient. Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.

Ottima posizione, vista spettacolare, camera pulita e arredamento curato! - Il personale era molto assente e per entrare in hotel e in camera serve una chiave. Abbiamo dimenticato la chiave in camera e ce ne siamo accorti dopo cena verso le 23:00, anche se il personale avrebbe dovuto essere in hotel fino alle 3:00: non c'era nessuno. Abbiamo dovuto contattare solo telefonicamente, ma essendo canadesi non avevamo un telefono funzionante. Abbiamo quasi dormito fuori. . Abbiamo ricevuto aiuto dal ristorante vicino. - Il personale avrebbe dovuto ricominciare alle 7:00; siamo andati via alle 8 senza fare il check-out perché di nuovo non c'era nessuno. - Mia figlia ha avuto gli EarPods rubati nella nostra camera, potevamo trovarli con l'app Apple e potevamo vedere esattamente dove si trovavano. Di nuovo, nessuno staff in hotel per dire loro che la persona delle pulizie li aveva rubati. (SIAMO SICURI AL 100% che sono stati rubati perché non hanno lasciato la stanza, non abbiamo mai portato con noi dispositivi elettronici da nessuna parte e il luogo in cui si trovavano era a 7 km di distanza dall'hotel dove non eravamo mai stati. - Offrono un servizio di stiratura a vapore, volevo usarlo ma mi hanno detto che ci è voluta una settimana per riavere indietro i miei vestiti... siamo stati lì per 4 giorni. Il personale si è offerto di portare un vaporizzatore nella mia stanza così potevo farlo da solo. Non l'hanno mai portato... - C'era una bellissima terrazza al 4° piano ma ne siamo venuti a conoscenza solo l'ultima sera. - Volevamo andare in spiaggia e il personale ha detto che era a 45 minuti a piedi e che era l'unica strada per arrivarci. Abbiamo camminato. Alla fine quando siamo arrivati... avremmo potuto prendere un carrello per 3 euro... L'abbiamo preso per tornare indietro. -

Pro - molto vicino alla Porta d'oro e facile da trovare. Check in è semplice. La stanza è al primo piano sopra il pavimento, quindi non è stata la cosa più difficile da sollevare i bagagli. Con - (1) la camera reale non sembra niente come le foto online. Le foto online (prese con la moda di lente ampia) mostrano la camera molto più grande e luminosa, mentre la camera è in realtà molto piccola e relativamente poco luminosa. Per una, il letto è letteralmente due passi dalla porta, e ci sforzavamo di trovare spazio per aprire i bagagli. (2) Uno dei letti nella stanza è in realtà un letto da divano, ma la proprietà non lo ha dichiarato quando abbiamo prenotato. Abbiamo passato molto tempo cercando di prenotare posti che non usano letti da divano, ma letti reali, quindi non possiamo aiutare, ma sentirci sbagliati e mal rappresentati. (3) C'è un po' di rumore. La proprietà è vicino alla strada e vicino a un pub con alcuni giovani raffinati a volte. (4) Le strutture sono minime. Ci sono solo una sedia, e la tavola è molto piccola. Tutto il resto è fondamentale. Niente di lusso su di esso nonostante il suo nome e le foto. (5) Non c'è ascensore alla proprietà. Non avremmo scelto questa proprietà se avessimo avuto una seconda possibilità.

Nice hotel but only if you can get it around 250 euro per night - any more and it’s probably expensive for what it is but hey it’s Hvar and nothing is cheap The rooms are nice and AC works well The Breakfast is very good and Marko and his team really go above and beyond The location is excellent right on a little beach which is free but chairs need to be rented and a 10 min walk along the boardwalk to old town Now the bad The reception don’t really seem to care about the guest and are actually pretty rude Second day HK didn’t come when we asked reception we were told did we ask for HK ? Which was strange thing to say really when the day before we had it It then took hours to get the room cleaned and follow up visits for towels and soap On the last day we left our bags and arranged the free ferry pick up and drop bag service (which you don’t know about until you arrive) we asked what time would the bags leave so we can change first the said 3.30pm when we got back at 3 the bags were gone and they said sorry we were busy so we had to walk to the ferry in our swimwear as we planed to change It’s only a small matter but shows how they really don’t care and say what they like

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Amphora from December 31, 2025 to January 3, 2026, and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, we were warmly and professionally welcomed at check-in, which made us feel immediately at ease. The room was very spotless, and the sea view was absolutely breathtaking — truly a dream. Everything was perfectly arranged and exactly as we had hoped. A special mention goes to the housekeeping staff, who were consistently friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The breakfast buffet deserves particular praise: it was one of the largest, most diverse, and highest-quality selections we have ever experienced. Due to how much we enjoyed our stay, we decided to extend it by one additional night, which was arranged quickly and without any issues. We can highly recommend Hotel Amphora and would happily return in the future.☺️

Fantastic hotel, 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and bus station. The resort is small but makes for a quiet holiday which is exactly what we were looking for. We were upgraded to the harbour suite which is a stunning room, although no balcony, didn’t bother us, just to make others aware. Shower gel and shampoo are Ritual branded and smell lovely. The food is fabulous, breakfast is buffet style and dinner (for half boarders) is chosen off the menu. Really high quality and believe they were Michelin recommended for 2024. They even gave us a breakfast bag as we were checking out very early. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and can’t do enough for you. This was the case from reception, restaurant to the roof top bar. All were great. The rooftop bar was a brilliant place to sit and watch the sunset and the ferry coming and going. The pool is covered and heated with a separate area for sunbathing. There’s also a couple of saunas you can use. The smallest gripe, it would be good to trim the top of the trees which blocked the view from the sun terrace. Would absolutely stay here again for a chilled and relaxing holiday.
