Hotel a 4 stelle in Creta, Grecia

The spa - hamam, sauna and indoor pool (1m deep though?!) is the hotel’s best feature. There is no beach access though, so I went to Nea Hora and Golden beach. Rooms - too small, lack of storage space, complex buttons and unnecessarily complicated console. It was quiet even though I was given a 2nd floor room. The overall signage in the hotel is confusing too. Beds and pillows - huge and comfy. Food - excellent. Massage decent. Toiletries good. Only frontal views are of the sea, but cost 10x more! Otherwise - trash can views!😤 A la carte breakfast - too slow, you eat less, always a misunderstanding… and after you order they take away the menu… Rooftop pool - a scam! Sunbeds always occcupied and need to be booked to see the sunset 🙄 there is another rooftop on 7th floor but after 10min you want to leave, because there are no showers, a pool, toilet or a bar… Staff is young, fakely polite, too slow and not very responsive - obviously trained for certain types of guests (culturally unexperienced). So even to get a locker in the spa you had to wait to be explained how to unlock it (and pass a test?!), even though there are two people at the reception desk. My coffee capsules, sweetener, and teas were not replaced the following morning during the housekeeping visit and a used glass was not washed. The balcony pool is tiny and got a lot of fluff from the street, plus I didn’t feel comfortable using it with it being visible from the street and building right across the street. I was also called at 21:30 (I was asleep?!) to check whether I was satisfied with a complimentary 30min massage (due to the poor room view)… 🤷🏼♀️ I understand that it is a new hotel and they are trying their best but I also paid 800+€ for two nights and was frustrated during 50% of my stay… 😒 I attended a high school for tourism and hospitality, worked as a masseuse, also and worked in 5-* hotels Chania 30 years ago, but stayed in a multitude of 4-5 star hotels worldwide since. Especially in Asia where the service is top notch. Therefore, all of this is not acceptable for such a high price. Yes, the welcome drink is nice, and so is the complimentary massage, but you should do better, Hilton!

Questo è un hotel molto ben gestito e in ottima posizione, vicino al molo e a cinque minuti a piedi dal Museo Archeologico. La colazione è ottima, i servizi sono completi, il prezzo non è alto e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto alto. Quando ho fatto il check-in il 1° giugno, un gentile personale alla reception ha risposto pazientemente a molte domande sul turismo a Heraklion e mi ha aiutato a stampare il biglietto del traghetto per Santorini. Vorrei ringraziarlo!

L'hotel è situato nel centro comparativo della vecchia città, vicino alla piazza di Venezia e alla chiesa, e è conveniente andare a pranzo e a pranzo per il mare; camminare dall'aeroporto di Lichuan in Iraq per circa 15 minuti, taxi per un prezzo di 15 euro; Se si vuole un auto, si può parcheggiare in parcheggio centrale, 7 euro ogni notte, con un fratello di 24-settimana; L'hotel è nuovo, la stanza è anche molto grande in Europa. Il bagno è progettato in tre parti separate. È meglio portare i pantaloni e i bagni, non ci sono spazzole per denti, macchie di tovaglioli peggiori e due persone hanno dato un set; ci sono un po'di acqua calda; il bar sottostante è più ricco.

Bel luogo e pulito

L'hotel è in una posizione molto grande per la città e il personale è molto amichevole. Non mi consiglierei la stanza standard, perché era molto piccola e si sentiva claustrobica, abbiamo cercato di aggiornare il giorno che ci siamo arrivati, ma purtroppo erano completamente prenotati, perché un paio di due valigie non c'era spazio per niente e molto limitato Spazio di attacco così doveva lasciare le valigie aperte sul pavimento e salire sopra di loro per andare in giro. Il cono d'aria aveva fatto crescere e lasciava che la stanza profumasse terribile. Ci sono stati anche dati solo due asciugamani che sono cambiati solo una volta ogni tre giorni, sarebbe stato bello avere una asciugamano, quindi non si usa una asciugamano per tutto. Questo è anche il caso per le tovalette da piscina che vengono cambiate solo una volta ogni tre giorni. Credo che l'hotel avrà un vantaggio da una rinfrescanza globale, dipinti ecc. e la piscina da pulire più spesso, anche se l'acqua era chiara c'era la forma verde costruita intorno ai lati, così come i salotti di piscina bianca. Non direi che la nostra stanza era di 4 stelle, ma che potrebbe essere stata basata sulle più grandi stanze disponibili.

Our stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day.  Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here. Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special. Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth. I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

We stayed at May Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. We booked the half-board option, and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast offered a nice variety of choices, and dinner was tasty with enough selection. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The hotel also has a gym with enough equipment for a basic workout, which was a nice bonus during our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, although the rooms and facilities feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation. The location is also not the most convenient, as there is no direct beach access—you’ll need to walk a few minutes to reach the beach. Overall, it’s a good value for money with excellent service, comfortable rooms, decent food, and useful amenities. With some modernization and a more convenient beach location, it would easily be an even better stay.

Un posto assolutamente fantastico in una posizione perfetta, solo un breve passo lungo il mare, davanti alla vecchia città storica di Chania e al porto di Venezia. In un altro senso, un giro ancora più breve verso il porto e la spiaggia di Nea Chora - che ha un sacco di bar e ristoranti. La struttura è situata direttamente sul lato del mare in una posizione tranquilla - con una bella piscina e una vista incredibile sul mare ovunque si trovava. Aveva la mia camera pronta presto - che era fantastica. Ero incredibilmente fortunato a avere una suite con un tubo caldo proprio sul fronte del mare - bellamente decorata, fresca, pulita e la vista dal balcone era incredibile. Credo che il colazione sia incluso per tutti gli ospiti, che era bello con una vasta gamma di bevande calde e fredde e pastiglie. L'unica critica è di me stessa che non sono rimasto più. Tornerei in un battito cardiaco!

Really enjoyed my stay at Porta suits. I have Booked it last minute in front of the airport at my arrival haha! Special thanks to the receptionist, what a friendly woman! Had lots of conversations and she was the best. The room was superb!! Really stylish, modern and warm. The jacuzzi top notch👌🏻. The bed is super comfortable and wow what a big kitchen with washingmachine, dishwasher and oven. Everything you need is here. The city center Minas cathedral spot is very near, less than 10 minute walk.if you don’t like walking, you can also take a bus. The bus stop is nearby and only costs 1,20 euros. It takes you to the big busstation at the port or you go out earlier.  Again, perfect stay! Will definitely come back with my family! Thank you again for the great service!

Il Capsis Astoria è un ottimo hotel in posizione centrale a Heraklion. Le camere sono confortevoli e abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro balcone. La piscina sul tetto è fantastica, con un bar a servizio completo, diverse tipologie di posti a sedere e una vista mozzafiato sulla città e sul mare in lontananza. Tutto il personale è cordiale e disponibile. L'hotel si trova di fronte alla fermata dell'autobus hop-on hop-off, alla navetta per l'aeroporto, al museo e a numerosi ristoranti e bar nei vicoli.
