NNat 李凤临The spa - hamam, sauna and indoor pool (1m deep though?!) is the hotel’s best feature. There is no beach access though, so I went to Nea Hora and Golden beach.
Rooms - too small, lack of storage space, complex buttons and unnecessarily complicated console. It was quiet even though I was given a 2nd floor room. The overall signage in the hotel is confusing too.
Beds and pillows - huge and comfy. Food - excellent. Massage decent. Toiletries good.
Only frontal views are of the sea, but cost 10x more! Otherwise - trash can views!😤
A la carte breakfast - too slow, you eat less, always a misunderstanding… and after you order they take away the menu…
Rooftop pool - a scam! Sunbeds always occcupied and need to be booked to see the sunset 🙄 there is another rooftop on 7th floor but after 10min you want to leave, because there are no showers, a pool, toilet or a bar…
Staff is young, fakely polite, too slow and not very responsive - obviously trained for certain types of guests (culturally unexperienced). So even to get a locker in the spa you had to wait to be explained how to unlock it (and pass a test?!), even though there are two people at the reception desk.
My coffee capsules, sweetener, and teas were not replaced the following morning during the housekeeping visit and a used glass was not washed. The balcony pool is tiny and got a lot of fluff from the street, plus I didn’t feel comfortable using it with it being visible from the street and building right across the street.
I was also called at 21:30 (I was asleep?!) to check whether I was satisfied with a complimentary 30min massage (due to the poor room view)… 🤷🏼♀️
I understand that it is a new hotel and they are trying their best but I also paid 800+€ for two nights and was frustrated during 50% of my stay… 😒
I attended a high school for tourism and hospitality, worked as a masseuse, also and worked in 5-* hotels Chania 30 years ago, but stayed in a multitude of 4-5 star hotels worldwide since. Especially in Asia where the service is top notch. Therefore, all of this is not acceptable for such a high price.
Yes, the welcome drink is nice, and so is the complimentary massage, but you should do better, Hilton!

UUtente ospiteQuesto è un hotel molto ben gestito e in ottima posizione, vicino al molo e a cinque minuti a piedi dal Museo Archeologico. La colazione è ottima, i servizi sono completi, il prezzo non è alto e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto alto. Quando ho fatto il check-in il 1° giugno, un gentile personale alla reception ha risposto pazientemente a molte domande sul turismo a Heraklion e mi ha aiutato a stampare il biglietto del traghetto per Santorini. Vorrei ringraziarlo!

UUtente ospiteL'hotel è abbastanza pulito e moderno. Abbiamo trovato i letti molto comodi e la posizione dell'hotel era abbastanza comoda vicino alla città vecchia e alle aree portuali. Le camere sono ben arredate con un paio di sedie, una zona lavoro, una postazione per caffè/tè, una grande TV e un ampio bagno. C'erano abbastanza prese in giro per la stanza e molti interruttori con le impostazioni della luce per farlo bene. Abbiamo apprezzato il balcone e la vista all'esterno, ma ogni sera c'erano alcune macchine che passavano con musica ad alto volume. L'unica lamentela significativa che abbiamo avuto è stata che la doccia del bagno perdeva molto facilmente nelle nostre camere e bagnava il pavimento vicino al bagno.
La colazione in hotel era abbastanza buona con una varietà di cibi cretesi come formaggio e pasticcini. C'erano uova strapazzate fresche e anche un'ottima salsiccia disponibile. La colazione comprendeva anche una grande varietà di frutta conservata che si abbinava bene allo yogurt greco e comprendeva arance, ciliegie, uva e fichi.
Abbiamo apprezzato il fatto che l'hotel disponesse di un parcheggio economico nelle vicinanze del Central Parking, che costava 7 euro al giorno con privilegi illimitati di entrata e uscita a patto che ricevessimo un timbro all'ingresso. L'hotel aveva anche un ristorante che offriva il servizio in camera e c'era un caffè popolare proprio dall'altra parte della strada. Questo hotel è stato una buona base per esplorare Creta con una posizione comoda vicino all'aeroporto e il prezzo era molto onesto per noi.

CCourtneyOur stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day. Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here.
Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special.
Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth.
I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

UUtente anonimoWe stayed at May Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early.
We booked the half-board option, and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast offered a nice variety of choices, and dinner was tasty with enough selection. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep.
The hotel also has a gym with enough equipment for a basic workout, which was a nice bonus during our stay.
The hotel itself is comfortable, although the rooms and facilities feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation. The location is also not the most convenient, as there is no direct beach access—you’ll need to walk a few minutes to reach the beach.
Overall, it’s a good value for money with excellent service, comfortable rooms, decent food, and useful amenities. With some modernization and a more convenient beach location, it would easily be an even better stay.

JJimmibobUn posto assolutamente fantastico in una posizione perfetta, solo un breve passo lungo il mare, davanti alla vecchia città storica di Chania e al porto di Venezia. In un altro senso, un giro ancora più breve verso il porto e la spiaggia di Nea Chora - che ha un sacco di bar e ristoranti. La struttura è situata direttamente sul lato del mare in una posizione tranquilla - con una bella piscina e una vista incredibile sul mare ovunque si trovava. Aveva la mia camera pronta presto - che era fantastica. Ero incredibilmente fortunato a avere una suite con un tubo caldo proprio sul fronte del mare - bellamente decorata, fresca, pulita e la vista dal balcone era incredibile. Credo che il colazione sia incluso per tutti gli ospiti, che era bello con una vasta gamma di bevande calde e fredde e pastiglie. L'unica critica è di me stessa che non sono rimasto più. Tornerei in un battito cardiaco!

UUtente ospiteLa posizione è ottima, proprio accanto al Museo Archeologico. Puoi effettuare il check-in dopo aver visitato il museo. Puoi andare alle rovine di Cnosso prendendo un autobus alla porta. La stanza è abbastanza grande e c'è un bollitore per bollire l'acqua calda.

UUtente ospiteReally enjoyed my stay at Porta suits. I have Booked it last minute in front of the airport at my arrival haha! Special thanks to the receptionist, what a friendly woman! Had lots of conversations and she was the best. The room was superb!! Really stylish, modern and warm. The jacuzzi top notch👌🏻. The bed is super comfortable and wow what a big kitchen with washingmachine, dishwasher and oven. Everything you need is here. The city center Minas cathedral spot is very near, less than 10 minute walk.if you don’t like walking, you can also take a bus. The bus stop is nearby and only costs 1,20 euros. It takes you to the big busstation at the port or you go out earlier. Again, perfect stay! Will definitely come back with my family! Thank you again for the great service!
