Hotel a 4 stelle in Kent, Regno Unito

This was genuinely a wonderful and most special place. The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet. They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it. The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard. The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need! The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality. Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible. Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite. A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!! There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise. She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!! Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too! Abbiamo fatto un super viaggio all'hotel come coppia + un cane. L'hotel è stato usato come base mentre esploravamo Kent, e per questo era perfettamente situato. Le camere erano un po' date, ma questo non è un problema per noi. Grande parcheggio sul posto. Le camere erano pulite, ben attrezzate e confortevoli. I really had a pleasant stay. Everything about the hotel was relaxing and although I didn’t sleep well (due to being in a different bed to my own) there was nothing I could complain about. Staff were great, breakfast was ok (selection of cooked breakfast, pastries, toast,cereals & fruit) and you’re greeted with that famous cookie! :)

We spent three nights at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the food was very good. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this good, but we were truly impressed—especially with the warm welcome and the attentive service throughout our stay. It made our trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend it!

È lontano dal centro della città. La colazione era deliziosa. Tuttavia non consentono agli ospiti di utilizzare il forno a microonde per riscaldare il cibo. Strano.

Perfect sized room, lovely set up, the hotel itself is huge and so well presented. Gorgeous swimming pool. Lots of places to sit down and eat if you would like too. There is a gym and a spa also (we didn't use these but we know they are there) there are phones in the rooms so you can order room service if you wish. The staff knocked on our door on the second evening and asked if we would like any refills on teabags coffee or sugar or any fresh towels. So well mannered and polite. Just an over all lovely place to go and its literally beside Brands Hatch where we needed to be. Cannot fault this place..

Abbiamo prenotato questo hotel per la posizione e la spa. L'hotel era bello, ma il bagno era sporco e mancava di strutture per la esperienza di spa. L'esperienza deliziosa di un hotel 4* e la sensazione che questo hotel abbia perso la pubblicità sulle strutture. Il camion al bagno era sceso prima delle 6:00 del giorno di San Valentino. Al check-in ci è stato detto che avrete le tue tovalette e vestiti al bagno e l'ultima entrata al bagno era 8:30 pm. Quando siamo arrivati alla reception spa abbiamo ricevuto solo un asciugamano e i vestiti sono solo per gli ospiti su un pacchetto spa, in contrasto con quello che ci è stato detto al check-in all'hotel. La zona della piscina e le camere di cambio erano molto sporche, le docce sul lato della piscina erano fuori ordine e sembravano essere state per un po'. La zona in cui il jacuzzi era stato incastrato e sembrava essere stato per molto tempo. La piscina era fredda e sporca.

The hotel is a bit dated but for the price we paid, it was good value. In terms of location, it was great for us as we were guests at a wedding at Leeds Castle and this hotel was literally around the corner. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did not use the leisure centre, but was told by family that it was really nice, especially the swimming pool. Regarding the room, as soon as you walk in you can smell the drains in the bathroom which is by the door but it's not that bad that you can smell it in the room. We had a family room which was large and had a king and two singles. The room was ok regarding cleanliness, some missed areas and dead insects which may have flown in through the big windows. Breakfast was nice with a decent selection of food and good choice of drinks which was needed after a hot weekend. Overall we are pleased with our stay and would recommend it.

Questo è un bel hotel con camere estremamente spaziose e suite. La sala da pranzo Orangerie ha una bella vista sui paesaggi tranquilli. Anche se non abbiamo avuto un pasto da sera, ci è stato colazione. Il personale si trovava in una posizione estremamente confortevole con il nostro piacevole nipote di dieci mesi e merita lode per la loro ospitalità. Siamo stati li per un matrimonio presso l'Hotel Beacon (quattro minuti di auto o 20 minuti a piedi con un pranzo) così è stato incredibilmente conveniente. Come hotel spa, mi sentivo obbligato a (!) a avere un meraviglioso massaggio che, anche se 110 sterline era ben valsa! Un passo di 20 minuti vi porta al fascino di Tonbridge Wells Pantiles, che ha avuto molti cibi e era molto insolito - molto inaspettato. Tutto circa l'hotel era di grande valore. Potrebbe fare con un po'di aggiornamento in decoro, ma non esitarei a restare ancora lì.

Grande soggiorno, il personale è stato molto buono, ha aiutato con tutto quello che ci serve.Il personale è molto amichevole, e il Dover nel suo complesso è stato molto amichevole. La stanza era bella e accogliente, una bella selezione di tè, caffè e biscotti. Bel posto.
