Hotel a 4 stelle in Kent, Regno Unito

This was genuinely a wonderful and most special place. The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet. They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it. The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard. The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need! The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality. Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible. Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite. A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!! There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise. She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!! Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too! I really had a pleasant stay. Everything about the hotel was relaxing and although I didn’t sleep well (due to being in a different bed to my own) there was nothing I could complain about. Staff were great, breakfast was ok (selection of cooked breakfast, pastries, toast,cereals & fruit) and you’re greeted with that famous cookie! :)

Stayed here for 3 nights in August 2025, and it was lovely. The hallways can be a bit confusing, so watch out for the room number signs so you don't end up in a random unknown hallway. The room was clean and spacious enough for 2 people, very clean too. My room had a great view of the courtyard and a partial view of the sea. There were a few guests singing and playing piano downstairs on our last day, which was a joy to watch. There's only one elevator in the hotel, and it can take really long to get to your floor, which can be a bit irritating. We also asked for housekeeping to clean our rooms for 2 days, and we could tell the bedsheets weren't changed (I spilled a bit of coffee on one side and it was still there all 3 nights). The towels also weren't changed, so we had to call reception for new towels. There's a Costa downstairs in the lobby, which is terrific - if only you could order! It seems that the hotel staff double as the Costa baristas, so we stood for maybe 30-40 minutes just waiting to be served. Other than that, though, our stay was great. The hotel's location is perfect; right in front of the sea and about 10 minutes walk to the shore.

Si tratta di un hotel molto carino con ampio parcheggio disponibile (una piccola tariffa di £ 5 a notte non è irragionevole). Abbiamo prenotato una camera familiare con due letti matrimoniali per noi tre. I letti erano molto comodi e la camera aveva un'enorme TV a schermo piatto, un frigorifero e un tavolino da caffè con comode sedie accanto alla finestra. Il bagno era di buone dimensioni con vasca e doccia all'interno: il lato della vasca potrebbe essere un po' alto per qualcuno con problemi di mobilità. Ampia area reception con molti posti a sedere, un bar-caffetteria e un bar nelle vicinanze. La colazione a buffet era eccellente con un sacco di cibo appena cucinato e una buona scelta di dolci. C'è anche palestra, piscina, bagno turco e sauna gratuiti. Ma ovviamente, durante il nostro soggiorno di due notti, le ultime tre erano tutte chiuse per manutenzione! Abbiamo prenotato le nostre due notti su prenotazioni separate a causa di un cambio di programma. Ciò ha causato un po' di confusione alla reception e ci è voluto un po' di tempo per risolvere la situazione, quindi non abbiamo dovuto cambiare camera.

My wife and I stayed for three nights to celebrate our anniversary. Our stay was exceptional and especially all the staff who couldn't do enough for us and with a smile and good humour. The service was spot on as was the food in the restaurant, we ate there on all three nights and enjoyed top cuisine, wines and beers. A special touch was the 'Happy Anniversary' slate with a couple of coconut ice sweets! The breakfasts were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, although we found the bacon just slightly tough but totally edible. Superb poached eggs! As a comment fresh fish would have been a nice addition at breakfast although smoked salmon was available. The bed was very comfortable and the room spotless and with most of the facilities one would expect. It would have been helpful to have a non-slip mat for the bath as well as a grab handle for safety. Also soap dispensers next the shower would have been helpful. As the summer is extremely hot (2026) air conditioning was very welcome! The spa facilities were lovely too!

Perfect sized room, lovely set up, the hotel itself is huge and so well presented. Gorgeous swimming pool. Lots of places to sit down and eat if you would like too. There is a gym and a spa also (we didn't use these but we know they are there) there are phones in the rooms so you can order room service if you wish. The staff knocked on our door on the second evening and asked if we would like any refills on teabags coffee or sugar or any fresh towels. So well mannered and polite. Just an over all lovely place to go and its literally beside Brands Hatch where we needed to be. Cannot fault this place..

Viveva per una notte.L'hotel 87 era più vecchio.Non so perche', i clienti Ming non sono molti, la ricetta ci ha dato una stanza negativa al primo piano. La vista è generalmente, se ci viene dato una stanza al piano di sopra.L'hotel ha una piscina interna, nessuna finestra, non molte persone. C'è un enorme campo di pratica da golf fuori.Adatto per gli ospiti da golf.

The hotel is a bit dated but for the price we paid, it was good value. In terms of location, it was great for us as we were guests at a wedding at Leeds Castle and this hotel was literally around the corner. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did not use the leisure centre, but was told by family that it was really nice, especially the swimming pool. Regarding the room, as soon as you walk in you can smell the drains in the bathroom which is by the door but it's not that bad that you can smell it in the room. We had a family room which was large and had a king and two singles. The room was ok regarding cleanliness, some missed areas and dead insects which may have flown in through the big windows. Breakfast was nice with a decent selection of food and good choice of drinks which was needed after a hot weekend. Overall we are pleased with our stay and would recommend it.

Questo è un bel hotel con camere estremamente spaziose e suite. La sala da pranzo Orangerie ha una bella vista sui paesaggi tranquilli. Anche se non abbiamo avuto un pasto da sera, ci è stato colazione. Il personale si trovava in una posizione estremamente confortevole con il nostro piacevole nipote di dieci mesi e merita lode per la loro ospitalità. Siamo stati li per un matrimonio presso l'Hotel Beacon (quattro minuti di auto o 20 minuti a piedi con un pranzo) così è stato incredibilmente conveniente. Come hotel spa, mi sentivo obbligato a (!) a avere un meraviglioso massaggio che, anche se 110 sterline era ben valsa! Un passo di 20 minuti vi porta al fascino di Tonbridge Wells Pantiles, che ha avuto molti cibi e era molto insolito - molto inaspettato. Tutto circa l'hotel era di grande valore. Potrebbe fare con un po'di aggiornamento in decoro, ma non esitarei a restare ancora lì.

Ho usato Hilton's molto in business in passato & Dover ha vissuto alle mie alte aspettative. Prenotato 3 camere gemelle per 3 notti per una riunione. Molto felice con il nostro soggiorno & prenotare di nuovo. Amichevole, attenti personale. Spotlessly clean rooms & bathrooms. Alcuni dei piu' confortevoli letti che abbiamo dormito. Un paio di problemi con (freddo) colazione (risolto) e una grande selezione. Alcuni del nostro partito hanno goduto della sauna. Uno in basso - l'ascensore singolo è molto piccolo e lento creando un buco.
