Hotel a 4 stelle in Normandia, Francia

Here's a unique hotel - housed in a old mansion from the 1900s. This means that each room in the original wing is a little different and 'eclectic'. There's also a new wing with newer rooms, a spa, a swimming pool (sorta heated), a bistro and a 1 Michelin star restaurant. Pros: - Unique style of hotel that's set away from the hustle/bustle of the Etritat town. - Helpful staff - Complimentary bakes and hot drinks from 4-6pm - Michelin-star restaurant on site (but it was closed during our visit) - Comfortable beds, good water pressure and a bathtub - Professional grade Nespresso machine in-room with 4 pods (2x decaf) + nice tea bags - Grounds are cute, with a resident cat, fireplace and pleasant garden-ish spaces. Cons: - Cleanliness - we discovered a swarm of ants crawling behind the curtain. We think it was some food that wasn't cleaned away from the previous guest that attracted the ants. This was gross. - Room styling may not be to everyone's tastes - suggest you ask to view a room before you move your luggage in. - Narrow stairs to rooms in main building, was abit hard to get luggage up to but they can get help if needed. - Location could be a con for some as it's a good 10-12 min walk into the main down down a high. - Parking spaces were limited. - Breakfast is pricey at 25 euro - there's a great boulangerie in town Maison Piquenot that you can get good croissants, baguettes from. - Overall abit pricey for the value you get.

Abbiamo prenotato questo hotel perché era in un castello e sembrava romantico e unico.Tuttavia, non c'erano molti dettagli in generale. In primo luogo, evitare il ristorante a tutti i costi, anche se il tre tavolo di corsa era solo €29. La preparazione e la qualità dei cibi erano terribili. Vedere le foto allegate.Il salmone che avevo cotto era stato supercotto da salmone congelato e le verdure erano probabilmente verdure congelate che erano cotte a funghi e non più verdi. Il risotto era solo ricoperto di risotto in una crema strana e aveva un po'di pollo insapore in cima. E' evidente che hanno bisogno di più personale, poiché il nostro ricevitore si raddoppiava come cameriera, e abbiamo notato che ci sono aspettative e difetti in servizio. La camera era compatta e pulita, ma non avevano dettagli. Per esempio, le attrezzature e gli apparecchi erano la varietà più economica possibile e non corrispondevano al Luxe sensazione che l'hotel andava. La posizione è leggermente fuori città e a 20 minuti a piedi da tutti i principali siti della città antica. Le terre erano tese e molto belle in foto.

La posizione è la migliore: è il primo hotel prima del ponte a Mont Saint-Michel e il servizio di autobus che vi porta è proprio fuori dall'hotel. Questa stanza sul primo piano ha una vista del barriere, è pulita e funzionale, ma sembra davvero stanca e datata. La stanza è davvero calda con la struttura del tetto piatto fuori dalle finestre che catturano tutto il calore. Il pranzo con la mezza tavola era piuttosto buono, ma la nostra scelta preferita non era disponibile a causa di un grande gruppo di tour che aveva cenato prima di noi. La colazione ha avuto una buona diffusione, con una splendida vista sul Monte Saint-Michel.È davvero prezioso per quello che è.

Non molto da dire... solo buone cose! Benvenuti alla reception quando ci siamo accolti prima di quanto previsto. Abbiamo ricevuto consigli turistici per andare in giro e hanno tenuto le nostre valigie. Purtroppo non abbiamo ottenuto il parcheggio perché erano pieni.. tutto riservato (NB: trip.com non ha mai discusso che dovevamo prenotare il parcheggio, questo è qualcosa di Accor e Trip.com dovrebbe discutere, perché ora è il nostro 2° incontro di questo problema.... Venendo dalla Malaysia e noleggiando una macchina, Non è utile... non avevamo idea di dovevamo prenotare il parcheggio) La camera da letto era molto bello, bel balcone ma piccola bagno... soprattutto visto il posto del bagno.... divertente. Ma non preoccuparti. Bella copertina della camera da letto e dell'hotel... temato su Christian Dior e moda, ci piaceva ☺️ La colazione finale e la sua posizione: bella. La vista sul mare è davvero buona, i mobili sono ben scelti, e il cibo è buono. Per la prima volta vedo un «faccia le tue uova sul lato soleggiato » posto in un hotel, che era freddo.

L'hotel si trova all'interno del cancello. Offre un parcheggio al costo di 12,50 €, molto più conveniente del parcheggio esterno. Il personale può fornire il codice per entrare nel cancello. C'è una navetta per Mont Saint-Michel proprio fuori dall'hotel ogni 10 minuti fino all'1:00. La camera è pulita e confortevole. Tuttavia, la moquette esterna è un po' vecchia. Mi ha ricordato un motel negli Stati Uniti. Nel complesso è stato un buon soggiorno ed è molto comodo per visitare Mont Saint-Michel.

We reached Erawan pretty late, at dark, in a snow day. Because communication channel with Trip.com did g allow the owner to reach us (phone nor email), we reached an empty, closed venue. Which I have to stay is pretty upsetting when it is -2 outside. However, after few phone calls, and relevant explanations, we got welcomed warmly by the owner and the neighbor business owner and we moved in accordingly. Thank you to the neighbor businessman to help us carry our heavy luggage till the 2nd floor!! Beautiful house and deco; beautiful bedroom BUT, extremely cold toilet and bathroom (supposed to be a hammam??? We never found the way to turn it into a hammam…. It is gorgeous…. But… damn cold!) Again, the house is very beautifully decorated which was so nice to experiment for breakfast. Do try this place which bedrooms names are themed on Thailand! :-)

Ho prenotato questo hotel per la sua comodità. Si trova proprio nel cuore della città, in una posizione ideale per spostarsi a piedi. L'hotel è adiacente alla stazione ferroviaria e ospita un ascensore storico risalente al 1912. La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato era una suite ed era perfetta. Aveva persino una vasca da bagno con luci e idromassaggio. Ci tornerei sicuramente.

L’hotel è molto simpatico e il personale è sorridente e accogliente.  L’hotel è piuttosto ben situato: Ci sono i trasporti adiacenti (bus, tram, treni, ecc. Ci è anche un centro commerciale situato a 7 minuti a piedi. La spiaggia è un po’ lontana (circa 30 minuti a piedi) ma non sono veicoli, Abbiamo potuto noleggiare biciclette e trottine elettriche appartenenti alla città.

The main building of the property is beautiful but has a tight parking space, which… needs to be booked ahead.. and we didn’t know . Anyway, also be aware that there are 3 buildings within the property, 1min walk to each other, and in winter at the dark of the evening, it is not really convenient to go from one place to another one. Anyway. Fact is that the 2 buildings we were presented are beautiful, fully renovated, warm and nicely decorated. Well done. Breakfast was also very good; I just think that the breakfast timing mngt of the various bedrooms run off… as people were queuing up, waiting for tables. My advice: wake up early, go breakfast early! ;-) Again very nice mansion and service.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, about 10 mins walk from the train station and walking distance to a lot of restaurants. The staffs were all so friendly and helpful! There’s a day I was back to hotel from Mont Saint Michel and it was late and all the restaurants were closed. I was hungry and cold and ask for foods from hotel, though kitchen was closed they still managed to whip up with ham ,cheese and baguettes. It makes me feel like home! Also, do try the dinner at the restaurant it was good! I just want to thank all the staffs for the hospitality and wish you guys Merry Christmas!
