I recently stayed at the Marriott Executive Apartments, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I booked through Trip.com, which clearly stated that all guests from all regions and countries are welcome. However, upon arrival, the hotel failed to inform me of a discriminatory local policy that caused significant problems during my stay. Late at night, the police came into my room unannounced, creating a highly stressful and uncomfortable situation for both me and my partner. This was not only an invasion of privacy but also caused emotional distress. At no point during booking or check-in did the hotel provide any disclaimer or warning about such policies that could affect guests. For a global brand like Marriott, I expected professionalism, transparency, and care for guests’ safety and dignity. Instead, I felt misled and unsupported. If the hotel is aware of restrictions that may impact certain guests, they should be upfront about it before booking, not leave travelers to face such distressing surprises. I will not be staying here again and cannot recommend this property to others. Clear communication and respect for guests are basic expectations, and unfortunately, this hotel failed on both.

Excellent 8-Night Stay – Great Location and Service We stayed at Shangri-La Yiwu for 8 nights, coming from Romania, and had a wonderful experience overall. Our room had a beautiful view of the river, which made the stay even more relaxing after long days of work. The location is ideal — just a short drive from the Yiwu International Trade Center, making it perfect for business travelers. The hotel is modern, very clean, and the service throughout our stay was consistently professional and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of both Western and Asian options, fresh ingredients, and great coffee. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and all the staff we interacted with were polite and helpful. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Yiwu, especially for business purposes.

Questo soggiorno è stato perfetto! Ho telefonato prima di prenotare e il personale ha risposto alle mie domande con pazienza, il che mi ha fatto sentire bene. Arrivando in hotel, l'ambiente pulito e luminoso trasmette felicità. Il check-in alla reception è rapido ed efficiente e il servizio è cordiale e premuroso. Dal 17° piano si gode di una sorprendente vista panoramica sul Lago dell'Ovest. La camera è spaziosa e molto più grande rispetto ad altri hotel della stessa fascia di prezzo. Il bagno è diviso in zona asciutta e zona umida e i servizi igienici sono nuovi e puliti. Anche l'insonorizzazione è ottima e garantisce un sonno ristoratore. L'hotel si trova in un'ottima posizione, vicino al Lago dell'Ovest, ed è ben servito dai mezzi pubblici e facilmente raggiungibile. Questo soggiorno ha superato le aspettative sotto ogni aspetto, lo consiglio vivamente!

The place was awesome! And ridiculously cheap for what was on offer. It was a large spacious room and I wanted it for fashion photos that I was taking. It was a decent location - close enough to most things but not as much to the restaurants or food places around. It was a very high floor, which was also cool! It was clean and tidy.

As a businessman who often travels between Mexico and Yiwu, I know how difficult it is to travel across countries - language barriers, cultural differences, itinerary arrangements... Every item can become a ”trip hazard”. But this time, the thoughtful service of Yiwu Global Hotel completely overturned my understanding of ”hotel management”! Due to a conflict in the itinerary, I was unable to personally receive the Mexican partners (a family of three), so I tried to entrust the hotel manager to arrange everything. Unexpectedly, from the pick-up to the drop-off, the hotel team ”treated the customer like family,” and even the customer himself kept saying, ”This is not staying in a hotel. It's like coming back to a second home!” 1. Airport pick-up service: a warm first stop to overcome language barriers The Mexican customer was not fluent in English and had no Chinese at all, so I was a bit worried about communication problems before the trip. However, the hotel manager set up an exclusive service group in advance and arranged a Spanish-speaking pick-up specialist to wait with a pick-up sign. What was even more surprising was that, considering the customer had an 8-year-old child, the car was not only equipped with a child safety seat, but also a box of Mexican specialty candies and a cute doll - it was later discovered that the manager had specifically searched for popular Mexican snacks to soothe the customer's ”homesick stomach”! The customer later told me, ”The moment the driver said 'Bienvenidos' in Spanish, we knew the trip was going to be smooth!” 2. Accommodation experience: a ”home away from home” with cultural details Room arrangement: When the hotel found that the customer had children, it proactively upgraded the king-size room to a family room, and there was a very large slide castle in the room. Children can play freely inside, and there is even a hand-drawn Spanish welcome card on the headboard (featuring a cute Mexican elf in a cheongsam!）。 ”Extracurricular” service: The customer's child suddenly had a fever, and the hotel helped buy medicine overnight and cooked a bowl of ginger soup to send it. The next day, the manager personally accompanied him to the hospital and acted as an interpreter throughout the process. 3. Travel manager: ”Living guide” who knows Yiwu better than locals Procurement escort: The purpose of the customer's trip is to purchase small commodities. The hotel directly contacted a bilingual procurement assistant to help them avoid the ”tourist trap” and go straight to the factory store with the best value for money. Cultural fusion: The housekeeper recommended a local Mexican restaurant because the customer was afraid of Chinese food, but the chef heard that there was a compatriot and came out to greet him and even gave him a dish from his hometown! 4. Service kernel: there is no ”cannot do”, only ”cannot think of” When I talked to the hotel manager about this reception, his words left a deep impression on me: ”What cross-border customers need is not standardized services, but a safety net that can fill the 'sense of strangeness'.” From the Spanish sign at the airport to children's fever medicine, from the diet on fasting days to purchasing and bargaining skills...... They turned every possible moment that could make customers ”helpless” into ”surprise”. 5. Customer's original words:”Next time I come to China, I will only recognize your family!“

Sono molto soddisfatto di questa selezione di hotel. La posizione è buona, proprio dall'altra parte della strada c'è la piazza vicino al Lago dell'Ovest. L'isolamento acustico è buono e non troppo rumoroso. Non è così vecchio come pensavo, tranne per il fatto che non è molto veloce in acqua, tutto il resto è abbastanza buono. Anche il servizio è molto buono. La chiave è che l'ingresso non è molto bloccato. A differenza di altre zone intorno a West Lake, è molto comodo prendere un taxi. Ci sono anche tre posti per biciclette pubbliche intorno. Puoi sempre trovare una piccola bicicletta rossa per le famiglie. È disponibile la colazione a buffet. Il ristorante cinese a la carte è nella media e non corrisponde al prezzo.

全是亮點，從房間到餐飲到服務都無可挑剔。 大概因為上一個民宿實在太差了，心態爆炸。又開車好幾個小時到米窩時候衹想要一個正常的民宿就可以看了。期待值沒那麼高，畢竟上一個民宿照片也很美，結果説多了都是淚。 結果是遠超期待，在任何一個一線城市裡有這樣的水準也是上上之選了，不要説在相對偏僻的地方。房間設計沒話説，入住剛辦完小朋友就從滑滑梯滑下去，開心極了。房間內部也各種巧思體現。服務也很温馨。服務員小哥和風細雨，讓人容易放鬆下來。
