This hotel is much more than just a place to stay — it is a complete family holiday destination designed around children, imagination and creating unforgettable memories. 🌟 Exceptional Service from Shi Jun — A True Credit to the Hotel Before arriving, I honestly considered cancelling our reservation due to communication difficulties. However, one person completely changed our experience — Shi Jun from the front desk team. Shi Jun demonstrated truly exceptional hospitality. Through WeChat, he patiently communicated with us, answered every question and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. He helped us when we were close to giving up on the reservation, arranged room changes, helped find a suitable place for me to work, assisted when we needed to visit the hospital, and continued to care about every detail of our family’s needs. His professionalism, kindness and genuine concern for guests represent the very best of hospitality. Shi Jun is a young man who is a true credit to Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel. For his service alone, I would give 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 🌟 Beautiful, Spacious and Immaculately Clean Rooms The room was one of the biggest highlights of our stay. It was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. The family design created a warm and welcoming environment, with excellent bedding, a well-maintained bathroom and plenty of space for parents and children. For families travelling with young children, cleanliness and comfort are essential — and Fantasy Jialebi Theme Hotel truly delivered. 🍳 Excellent and Abundant Breakfast The breakfast was another highlight. There was a fantastic selection of food suitable for both adults and children. The variety was impressive and provided a great start to each day. 👨👩👧 A Wonderful Family-Friendly Environment The greatest strength of this hotel is its understanding of families. Everything is designed with children in mind, creating a place where children can feel excited, happy and full of imagination. Our child especially enjoyed the family atmosphere, and it was wonderful to see so many families creating happy memories together. ❤️ Great Potential with Some Areas for Improvement The hotel has an excellent foundation: beautiful rooms, a fantastic concept, wonderful family facilities and a great location. With some improvements, it has the potential to become one of the best family resorts in Anji. 🌍 International Guest Communication As an international guest, communication was sometimes challenging. Unfortunately, none of the staff members we met could speak English, and some were reluctant to use translation tools. Basic English support or greater willingness to use translation applications would greatly improve the experience for overseas visitors. 🧑🍳 Breakfast Service Professionalism Although breakfast was excellent, we noticed the chef using his phone in the breakfast area during service time. For a family resort with such great potential, maintaining professionalism in all public areas is important. 🌙 Night Reception Service At approximately 5:00 am, we needed assistance because our room key required reactivation. Unfortunately, nobody was immediately available at reception. A 24-hour guest service presence would improve the overall experience. 🚗 Arrival Experience The entrance creates the first impression. We noticed the security staff member appeared distracted using his phone and smoking rather than actively welcoming guests. I enjoyed my stay at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale very much. Dan at the reception was very friendly and did the check in quick and smooth. She arranged a higher floor room for me which I really appreciate. The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel has also self service washing machines for guests in the basement floor, very convenient!

Overall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved. The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore. The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition. Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day. Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit. Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest. Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority. Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small. Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable. The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

L'hotel è fantastico, ha tutto il necessario per un viaggio in famiglia o di lavoro. Il personale è molto gentile e sorridente. In particolare, Kelly e tutto il personale della reception e del ristorante. La camera familiare era molto ben attrezzata, pulita e accogliente. L'hotel ha una nuova politica di colazione, pranzo e cena gratuiti per gli ospiti e dispone di una bella palestra e di una lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice. Inoltre, l'hotel ha una caffetteria Starbucks vicino alla reception. Ottimo hotel, ci torneremo sicuramente.

Fuchun mountain resort is strongly recommended for foreigners like our family. Peaceful Lake with awesome landscape made our family to feel refreshing. Chinese traditional style hotel room is quite cozy. Complementary service like taking a picture by photographer is to be made a reservation when check in, otherwise fully booked in case of weekend.

The entire resort is designed in the unmistakable shape and spirit of a ship, complete with maritime detailing, porthole-style windows, brass accents, and cabin-inspired interiors that make every room feel like a private suite at sea. From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by tropical-style gardens and serene lagoons where ducks glide across the water and fish move like living brushstrokes beneath the surface. It is calm, immersive, and almost dreamlike. The service is simply outstanding — attentive, warm, and effortless. Nothing feels forced; everything feels considered. Breakfast is sumptuous and generous, with a spread that feels worthy of a grand voyage rather than a countryside resort. Every detail is elevated. The rooms are extraordinary — sleeping here genuinely feels like being inside a luxury cabin on an ocean liner, yet with the comfort, silence, and space of a high-end retreat. What makes this place unforgettable is its setting: tranquil and secluded, yet perfectly positioned to explore everything Anji has to offer. You feel away from the world, but never far from it. To stay here is to experience something rare — a place that doesn’t try to impress, yet quietly outshines everything around it. A destination I would not just recommend, but insist on. Without question, one of my top travel discoveries for 2026. As we sat outside on the man-made beach overlooking the beautiful pond, framed by rolling mountains, a golf buggy passed by. The driver, Ben, stopped and kindly asked if we would like to take a ride around the hotel grounds. What followed was unforgettable. We set off together and immediately began to ascend into the mountain areas, where the landscape opened up into something extraordinary. We were surrounded by peach trees, olive trees, and endless tea plantations stretching across the hillsides. The scenery felt untouched and alive. Stunning waterfalls cascaded down rock faces, and wildlife was everywhere — fish moving through clear waters, turtles basking quietly, geese and ducks gliding freely across ponds and streams. It felt like a living ecosystem woven seamlessly into the resort itself. At the peak, we reached the most incredible lookout observatory and restaurant, offering panoramic views over Anji and far beyond. The vistas were vast and layered, mountains fading into the distance under a calm, open sky. To top it all off, there is even a zip line (rip cord) for those brave enough to ascend and descend in style — an exhilarating contrast to the serenity below. Throughout it all, Ben’s kindness, warmth, and care were extraordinary, and perfectly matched the beauty of the experience. His generosity of spirit elevated the entire journey. A stay that moves from ship-like luxury, to lakeside tranquillity, to mountain adventure — all within a single, seamless experience. Simply unforgettable.

Here’s a polished review you can post: I recently stayed at VOCO Hotel at Thousand Island Lake over the weekend, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and perfectly located with amazing scenery around the lake. The rooms were spotless, the staff were warm and professional, and the amenities were excellent. Breakfast was also one of the highlights — a great variety of food and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. However, there were a few things I found disappointing. Trip advertises several “free gift coupons,” but in reality they mostly feel like a strategy to encourage you to spend more money rather than actual complimentary benefits. It was a bit misleading. Another thing that felt excessive was the hotel photo service. They give you only 3 free pictures, and if you want additional ones, they charge ¥80 per extra photo, which I honestly find quite exorbitant for simple pictures. Aside from these issues, the hotel experience itself was wonderful, and I would still recommend it for the cleanliness, location, service, and overall comfort.

The resort sits inside the famed Xixi Wetlands nature reserve, surrounded by canals, bamboo, gardens, bridges, and misty greenery—yet it’s still relatively close to central Hangzhou and West Lake. The Architecture draws from traditional Jiangnan water-town style: whitewashed walls, dark wood, tiled roofs, carved screens, courtyards, and stone pathways. It’s especially beautiful in early morning fog or after rain, when the wetlands feel cinematic. Rooms are unusually spacious. Even entry-level categories are large suites, while villas add outdoor soaking areas, private courtyards, or pools depending on category. Interiors mix classic Chinese design touches with luxury comforts—heated floors, deep bathtubs, generous bathrooms, and plush bedding. Excellent !
