La camera era spaziosa, e la vicinanza dell'hotel alle linee 1 e 2 della metropolitana rendeva gli spostamenti comodissimi. In particolare, per raggiungere l'aeroporto di Tianfu, bastano 5 fermate con la linea 1 fino a Chengdu South Station, da lì si cambia con la linea 18 (senza uscire dalla stazione) e si arriva direttamente al terminal dell'aeroporto di Tianfu in 33 minuti, il tutto per soli 10 yuan. Per andare alla stazione di Chengdu Est per il treno ad alta velocità, bastano 6 fermate con la linea 2 per arrivare direttamente ai gate. I trasporti sono davvero comodi, più veloci, puntuali ed economici di un taxi.

Overall, everything was good and perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Beyond the views, the hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring environment throughout our stay. 💖 Outstanding Staff and Exceptional Hospitality The entire staff team at the Conrad Jiuzhaigou deserves immense praise for their incredibly helpful and professional service. They truly elevated our stay. We are especially grateful for their efforts in upgrading one of our rooms. This allowed all five family members to stay within the same block, which was highly appreciated and made our family logistics so much easier. Also, a standout service was the golf cart transportation required between our room and the main lobby. The staff were exceptionally attentive, ensuring we never had to wait in the freezing weather. The cars arrived almost instantly upon request, demonstrating remarkable efficiency and concern for guest comfort. A special shout-out must go to Ms. May who helped us check-in at the Reception counter. She took excellent care of us from the moment we stepped into the hotel, processing our check-in smoothly and efficiently. L'hotel è fantastico, la posizione è ottima e i trasporti sono comodi. Sotto c'è un centro commerciale, quindi trovare da mangiare è facilissimo sia lì che nei ristoranti fuori. Di fronte c'è il Teatro dell'Opera del Sichuan e anche i servizi sono buoni: la lavatrice è lavasciuga e la piscina è molto pulita, ben gestita. Ci sono anche campi da pickleball e una palestra. La scelta per la colazione non è vasta come in altri hotel a cinque stelle, ma il cibo è buono e ci sono anche succhi di frutta freschi, quindi per noi va benissimo! Abbiamo il treno notturno alle 19:00 e l'hotel ci ha permesso di fare il check-out posticipato fino alle 14:30. Dopo il check-out, abbiamo fatto un bagno in piscina, una doccia e abbiamo cenato al centro commerciale prima di andare a prendere il treno: perfetto! Questo è stato all'unanimità l'hotel preferito dalla mia famiglia durante questo viaggio.

We chose this hotel mainly for a skiing trip, with the added bonus of having hot spring facilities on-site. We stayed from 28–30 December 2025. Unfortunately, while there was a small amount of snow at the top of the mountain, there wasn’t enough snow for skiing, which is worth keeping in mind as snow conditions are very weather-dependent. The hotel itself has good facilities, including hot springs, sauna, and a swimming pool. The hot spring experience felt private and relaxing, as there are multiple smaller tubs designed for individuals or family groups, rather than one large communal pool. There is also a dedicated changing area with showers, plenty of towels, and hair dryers, which is well-organised and convenient after soaking. The surrounding area is quite deserted, with only a few old shops across the road selling BBQ skewers and basic convenience store snacks. The police station is immediately next door, which adds a sense of security. Dining options nearby are very limited, so the hotel restaurant is the most decent and reliable place to eat. We particularly enjoyed their non-spicy chicken and mushroom hotpot, priced at 368 yuan, which was generous enough for a family of 3–4 people. The breakfast was also yummy and a highlight of our stay. One nice extra was the complimentary photo session with a professional photographer. You receive 3 photos for free, and if you choose to purchase all the digital photos taken, it costs around 400 yuan for approximately 43 photos. Transportation was one downside. We didn’t enjoy using Didi in this area. On the way to Xiling Snow Mountain, the Didi fare was 40 yuan, but the driver asked for an additional 30 yuan to cover his return trip. For the return journey, the driver didn’t accept the fixed price, used the meter instead, and requested an extra 20 yuan for parking fees at the mountain. For reference, the cable car prices at Xiling Snow Mountain are 320 yuan per person per day to the top, or 250 yuan per person per day to the halfway point. If you stay at hotels near the cable car, you only pay for the ride once. Since Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is farther away, you have to pay the same cable car rate every day, which adds up. Overall, Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is a comfortable hotel with good hot spring facilities and decent food, but it’s best suited for travellers who value relaxation over convenience. If skiing is your main goal, staying closer to the cable car may be more cost-effective and practical.
