Giappone: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Prefettura di Yamaguchi

The hotel itself was so good, unless there were not many things to do around there, the locating was 3 minutes from the shin yamaguchi station.

Unbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition. The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle. Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)? My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call). Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen. Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.

I had a truly wonderful stay at VIA INN SHIMONOSEKI and would happily give it a well-deserved 5-star review. The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from Shimonoseki Station, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and onward travel. Whether you’re exploring the Kanmon Straits or heading out for a day trip, everything feels effortlessly accessible. The room was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable, especially by Japanese business hotel standards. The bed provided excellent support, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a long day of travel. Despite being near the station, the room was quiet and peaceful. What truly stood out was the service. The staff were consistently polite, efficient, and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of Japanese and Western options, perfect for starting the day on a satisfying note. Overall, VIA INN SHIMONOSEKI offers exceptional value, comfort, and convenience. I would highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shimonoseki.

This is not the Hotel in the photo added. The hotel is a reasonable Japanese style business hotel. The staff were very kind and friendly and tried to help us with the booking problem cause by Trip.com. The booking agency (Trip.com) had booked us as 6 guests and charged us accordingly. We were 4 adults and one child and were overcharged by Trip.com by 1/3 of the price (about 10,000 yen). The hotel staff were helpful but they couldn't do anything as this was a mistake by the agents not the hotel. I will be contacting Trip.com to ask for a refund of the amount they charged us in error.

La stanza è spaziosa e pulita. Il personale dell'hotel parla in gran parte giapponese, ma si può parlare con loro utilizzando Google Translate. Sono davvero gentili e utili. Si può anche prendere in prestito un capelli rettificatore e curler al lobby. Il Onsen è davvero buono. Raccomando di provare l'onsen qui; forniscono yukata e servizi, che si possono ottenere al lobby. Raccomando davvero questo hotel!

Hagi No Yado Tomoe is an amazing Ryokan. The exterior is nice and clean and once you head on inside, you enter a rare and elegant world. The facilities are wonderful and everything is created with exceptional precision. The staff are always patient, polite, extremely kind and respectful. They were also very accomodating towards our child. The room we had was amazing and both the dinner and breakfast were delicious and beautifully presented. The onsen was also clean and relaxing. Highly recommended for your next stay if you visit Hagi.

カプセルホテルの方に泊まりました。 立地もよく、瑠璃五重塔まで徒歩で行くことができました。 夜間であってもスタッフさんは親切に対応してくれ、作務衣とタオルが2枚ついており、スリッパなどのアメニティもあり枕も選ぶことができ大満足です！ 文句なく満点！

Tutto era perfetto, cominciando con il personale della reception: sorridente, dedicato, flessibile e sempre pronto ad aiutare. Mi hanno anche dato grandi raccomandazioni per i ristoranti locali. I bagni caldi sono belli, senza spot e aggiunge un vero momento di relax. Dall’esterno, l’hotel può sembrare semplice e un po’ “suburbano”, ma all’interno ha un vero carattere e un’atmosfera calda.

L'hotel caldo mi ha sorpreso molto. La camera è molto pulita e confortevole. L'atteggiamento del personale è molto buono. Il pranzo giapponese è molto ricco e delizioso. Il posto è sufficiente. La stanza dell'hotel non è molto, gli ospiti non saranno troppo, l'hotel è molto tranquillo.
