Location was right behind the JR station, there is convenient store and supermarket next to it. We had a family room with 3 double beds and sofa bed and a massage chair, the massage chair was the best after a day in the snow. 2nd floor is the reception and the place to hang out with free drinks, u can buy your own food and hang out there, if I go to Yamagata, definitely with go to this hotel again.

These newer Daiwa hotel are best. We've stayed in Yamagata, Koriyama, and Morioka they're very similarily designed and decor. They're better then other Daiwa in other cities. Their moderate Twins allows extra sofa bed is perfect fit for our family of 4 to sleep comfortably while staying together. Everything is just perfect with these newer built Daiwa hotels if you can find a good price on them.

The location was absolutely unbeatable—right inside the train station, making it incredibly convenient! Surrounded by a wide variety of food options both within and outside the station, it’s a food lover’s dream. The staff were friendly, and the room was spotless and comfortable. Without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again whenever I’m in town!

We went for a ski trip and stayed in Hayamakan. Staffs greeted us very friendly, and introduced the facilities. Location was great - close to Yamagata and Zao Ski Resort. Breakfasts were amazing!
