Located right across Mito station, supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes were easily accessible. The rooms were also a decent size, and the reception staff were very helpful. Parking was 600 JPY a night just outside the hotel.
Location is excellent as it is next to the mito station and room is spacious. But public bath is small and piano in the lobby was not allowed to be played while some functions are held
The room is clean and spotless. Amenities such as face/batth towel, coffee drips, face cream etc are self-helped.
We ran into issue checking in as we reserved 2 rooms for 3 pax. Somehow the reservation was confused and we had to pay additional for 3rd person.
Thankfully it was resolved by Trip.
Hotel is very close to the bus station as I had to take the first bus to Narita airport it was the best location for me. Very quiet, fast check in, clean room, it was a perfect stay.

UUtente ospiteMy stay at this accommodation was absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations! The place was impeccably clean and wonderfully quiet, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel right at home.
One of the highlights was the food—breakfast and dinner were served daily, and each meal was unique, prepared with incredibly fresh ingredients. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully crafted, adding a special touch to the experience.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming stay. It’s truly exceptional and well worth it!
NnomadsenseiAlthough it is countryside, it is very close to the train station. About 2 minutes of walking. Front desk staff members were helpful to accommodate the room request. The bathroom in the room was quite clean. However, the shampoo and body soap in the room was low quality. But luckily you can go to the entrance area to pick up another variety of soap and shampoo. I appreciated that they had DHC skin care set in case you didn't bring it with you.
There is a convenience store across from the hotel. So I was thankful for that. Otherwise, there is a bakery and an izakaya and that is it. 🙂
UUtente ospiteIts a coxy house in a residential area. Best to be there before it gets dark. But no worries too,as young English speaking lady will guide you if you are lost. Elderly man also makes great effort to speak in English. That's really very kind of them. Knowing that we are not Japanese..
Ryokan very well kept. Clean . Room was big and comfortable. Onsen was nice and cozy. Clean.
Breakfast was good . Elderly guy walked us to the Inari Shrine ,1 min walk away. Very nice of him.
If in that area, I recommend to stay here for a cosy clean ryokan experience. .

UUtente ospiteThe Celecton Hotel opened in 2019.It is quite new and within a short walk from Tsuchiura Station . There is a Kasumi supermarket near the station. You can get a set of very comfortable pyjamas when you check in at the front desk. Public onsens for males and females , ice making machine , drinks vending machine , microwave machine are all on the ground floor. We didn't try the breakfast as there were many other food options nearby. Aeon mall is a short bus ride from Tsuchiura Station.
