"24/7 front desk staff. Breakfast is hard boiled eggs, toast, plain yogurt, frozen blueberries, juice, oats. Dinner is rice and curry. Free beer, wine or soda. Tv, kitchen, bar, lounge area. This area is near tents and tarps where homeless people are. At the same time, it’s within a 15min walk from most attractions, e.g. harbour, royal bc museum, chinatown. 100$ damage deposit required. 10$ deposit for a lock, 10$ for towel. Dorms are smelly, poor ventilation. Curtains are dark which makes the dorm very dark throughout the day. Private lockers next to bed have a heavy sliding lock which is inconvenient and loud."

Sharon spent fair bit of time to trace my agoda booking number. As trip.com booking number is not found in trip.com.
Sharon worked extra hour to trace my booking to avoid me to make any payment as couldnt locate trip.com booking.
Overall, my stay was plesant and shittle service is good and prompt.

UUtente ospiteNice property. Very ridge on early and late check-in and check out. Check on time is 1:00 and it is an extra $50 to check in early. Check-out time is 11:00 and can be extended to noon without a fee but beyond that it is $50. Breakfast is a little bit light with no hot foods.
Great pool and water slide along with a hot tub. I had a suite, and room size was good, almost a mini condominium.

PPianist with no handsThis hotel was built in 1885 with historical background according to the pictures on the wall. It would be more informative if there was a more thorough descriptions next to the pictures and become a museum like Inn.
We stayed in the Superior King room with balcony, the river view was excellent. This little town is very tranquil with relaxing vibe. We loved to stay in the balcony, unfortunately, there is no any BBQ or stove for cooking here, or we would love to stay more days. There is also no sun umbrella or shaded place in the balcony, and it could be very bright and hot even during 11C in the summer.
Our room is the closest to the car park, but we can’t access the stairs directly down to the car park. Instead, we had to detour in the hotel, walked the a few levels of stairs with passing two doors to the car park. There are more than a dozen of stairs in the hotel. Elderly and anyone with leg or back problems need to be aware of it.
Our room has been renovated recently. Everything maintains in very good condition, besides of the air conditioning. The air conditioning system was connected to another three rooms in the same isle. If any of the room turns on the heater while everyone is using the cool mode, the air conditioning will be shown in error.
Thanks for Meghan that she was willing to come back to the hotel for us in 5 mins even it was out of her work time. She has been very helpful and nice during our stay. She is the best front desk I have seen on this island.
We were happy with our stay, even we noticed that the noisy music from the pub right under the hotel level not only on in the weekend until midnight. However, we felt that compressor next to us had been noisy all day. We only felt quiet after we turned off the bathroom ventilator, air conditioning and closed the window.
There was also two washing machines and one dryer on site charging only CAD$2 for each laundry. I think this is the cheapest laundry service on the island.
The last but not least is the bath towels. We can’t stand with it snowing with crushes. I would suggest people bringing their towels. And the water pressure was too weak like a garden pot watering.

JJanineLBWe visited the hotel for our Duex Days event and overall had a pleasant experience. The valet parking was smooth and professional, and the hotel staff were generally polite and courteous.
However, one aspect could be improved: flexibility at check-in. I was running a bit late, so my husband, who shares the same last name and was on the reservation, tried to check in ahead of me. Despite offering to send a photo of my ID and confirming the reservation details, the front desk staff insisted that I had to be there in person. I understand the importance of security, but a bit more flexibility or alternative verification methods would have made the process more convenient and guest-friendly.
Aside from that, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the service and atmosphere overall.

UUtente ospiteLa cabina era più vecchia, ma molto affascinante, abbiamo fatto il più grande del posto in fiamme nella stanza e abbiamo goduto di una vista sul lago dal nostro balcone. Il bagno era pulito con tutto quello che ci serviva. Il caffè era anche fornito nella stanza che era bello. Ho letto i letti erano inconfortabili su altre recensioni e ho parzialmente concordato - non il migliore ma ancora una volta non la ragione principale o la speranza di visitare il lago emerald. Dirò che le mutandine erano estremamente sottili e inconfortabili.
Il personale era molto amichevole e attento. Il servizio di navetta era facile. Il ristorante era prezioso ma in generale buono. Nessun WiFi o segnale nella stanza è qualcosa di cui essere consapevole, ma ha aumentato l'esperienza secondo me. In generale, grande!

VVedanandHo avuto un ottimo soggiorno al Grand Park Hotel & Suites Downtown Vancouver. Quello che si è appena scoperto è stato il servizio. Il personale era eccellente, veloce a rispondere, e molto affidabile ogni volta che mi serviva qualcosa. Ha reso l'intera esperienza senza stress.
Le strutture superavano le mie aspettative, soprattutto per il prezzo, e tutto si sentiva ben mantenuto e confortevole, quindi si sentiva certamente come un grande valore per i soldi.
Devo anche menzionare il cibo, che era davvero delizioso, con ingredienti di buona qualità e porzioni generose, che è stata una piacevole sorpresa e ha aggiunto un sacco al soggiorno generale.
In generale, avrei decisamente raccomandato questo posto se si sta cercando comfort, buon servizio, e solido valore nel centro di Vancouver.

MMikki LizIt was my second time staying at this hotel.
There were two things I really needed to mention.
First, I turned on Netflix and started watching a movie around 8:00pm but I fell asleep shortly after. Around 9pm someone started knocking on my door very loudly, which woke me up. I then heard someone outside saying, “Hey, lower the volume.”
I was honestly super confused because the TV wasn’t even that loud???? and the knocking itself was louder than the TV and was what actually woke me up. I didn’t open the door because I found it creepy.
After that, I called my friend, and he suggested I contact the front desk. When I called, the lady told me their housekeeper had already checked and there was nobody in the lobby anymore (which makes sense because it had happened around 20 minutes earlier). She also said other people shouldn’t be able to access guest floors without a key card. When I asked whether anyone staying beside me had complained, she said nobody was staying next to my room, and the guest next door had only just checked in.
Maybe it was just someone passing by, but it was still really weird and uncomfortable. I’ve stayed in many hotels in different countries and have never experienced something like this before.
The second issue was that both the internet and TV stopped working at night and were still not working the next morning when I checked out, which was really frustrating. I mentioned it during checkout, and the front desk staff simply said the whole building was having the same issue and they were trying to fix it 🥲
The good thing is they’ve now fixed the access issue, so everyone needs a key card to access their floor.
The hotel itself is brand new, very quiet, and clean, which is why I chose to stay here again. Since it’s owned by Hilton, I honestly expected the staff to be a bit more professional when speaking to customers.
The housekeeping staff were all super friendly though.

CChotikoonWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at Paradox Vancouver. The room was spacious, incredibly clean, and beautifully designed. The highlight was definitely the stunning city view right from our window! The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we got a perfect night's sleep every night.
Additionally, the breakfast was delicious with a great variety of high-quality options. Everything about this hotel felt premium and offered great value for money. If you are visiting Vancouver, this is the perfect place to stay. We will definitely come back! 5/5 stars!
