Belgio: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Anversa

La posizione era comoda, vicino alla stazione centrale. Avevo persino una vista sulla splendida stazione centrale di Bruxelles. La camera era dotata di tutto il necessario, tranne la zanzara che mi ha terrorizzato il sonno. C'era anche un ventilatore, dato che l'aria condizionata non è regolabile.

What we liked: Overall the hotel has ample, clean public space and the room was spacious with a separate toilet area, shower area and sink / vanity area. This made getting ready and using the facilities for two ppl easier. The room also had a fridge. The hotel is also right across the road from the main train station and a short 10 min walk to bus depot (Rooseveltplaats). So very good for traveling into and through Antwerp. For pre checkin and post checkout they offer private free lockers for your luggage. Through it is first come, first serve and they don’t have that many of them (we had no problems fitting a 40l bag, a 28l backpack and tote bag into one middle size storage cube). Small things that we didn’t like but can deal with: Limited in room amenities, there was no kettle or mugs, etc in the room. We were left a bottle of water but it wasn’t clear if it was free or not. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy (very quiet at night) but decently lite. They did require your room code to get back into the hotel after midnight. The hotel is close to the train station but farther from the old city. It is a good 20-25 min walk to that area. We are ok to walk, so didn’t mind much but it is further than some other hotels.

In ottima posizione, l'Hyllit Hotel si trova a meno di 5 minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria di Anversa Centrale. La sua posizione consente di raggiungere direttamente il centro storico della città a piedi, seguendo una linea retta. La reception è stata molto gentile, sono stato accolto da personale molto professionale che si è preso il tempo di spiegarmi tutti i comfort disponibili in hotel, dal minibar all'Emerald Lounge, fino alle indicazioni per raggiungere il ristorante panoramico e il centro benessere. La camera che mi è stata assegnata era molto pulita e dotata di diversi comfort, come una TV con canali internazionali (francese, inglese, tedesco), una macchina per il caffè e un telefono.

The Ibis Budget near Antwerp Central offers a no-frills but perfectly adequate experience for travellers seeking a comfortable and convenient place to rest after a day of exploring the city. It prioritizes the basic necessities, ensuring a good night's sleep without unnecessary extras, making it an excellent option for budget-conscious travellers. Its prime location next to Antwerp Central Station is a major advantage. This provides easy access to public transport for exploring Antwerp and beyond, including direct Thalys connections. The rooms are described as modern and clean, which is crucial for a comfortable stay. While compact (around 13-15 sqm), they are designed to be functional, typically including a comfortable ”Sweet Bed™ by ibis budget”, a desk, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a private bathroom with a shower and eco-friendly toiletries. The room also features a separate toilet. For quick snacks and drinks outside of breakfast hours, vending machines are available but they only accept cash.

Ho dovuto prenotare un hotel all'ultimo minuto perché ho cambiato programma. Tutto il resto era prenotato o troppo caro. Questo hotel è stato fantastico, sia in termini di prezzo che di qualità! Il personale è super gentile e disponibile, la posizione è ottima nel bel quartiere di Antwerpen Zuid, molti ristoranti e supermercati a pochi minuti a piedi, camere comode e una buona colazione. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare qui se cercate un hotel in cui trascorrere la notte quando visitate Anversa.

Pro: - posizione discreta; circa 7 minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale di Anversa e 2 minuti dalla fermata dell'autobus Flixbus, anche se in un angolo relativamente tranquillo. - hanno una piccola sala da pranzo comune al piano terra con microonde, frigorifero, bollitore e distributori automatici di snack e caffè. la macchina del caffè ha bisogno di qualche manutenzione, e il distributore di snack è stato fatto durante il nostro soggiorno. Contro: - se soggiornate ai piani inferiori preparatevi a tenere le tende chiuse: l'intera stanza è chiaramente visibile dall'esterno dell'hotel. - la stanza ha tutto ciò di cui avete bisogno, ma non si può fare a meno di sentirsi come se fosse vuota, spoglia e spoglia; ci sono a malapena dei lavori di ristrutturazione interni alla stanza. - non c'è il bollitore in camera e dovrete depositare 10 euro per prenderne in prestito uno.

Grande luogo per soggiornare! Situato in centro, facile check-in/out, senza sosta (camere pulite ogni giorno), personale carino e utile, e molto convenientemente. Usiamo i serbatoi il nostro ultimo giorno per immagazzinare il nostro bagaglio, che era davvero utile. Viene a visitare di nuovo!

Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti e ci siamo divertiti tantissimo. Abbiamo adorato la stanza. Ha una smart tv così abbiamo potuto guardare tutto quello che volevamo. La doccia era bella con gel doccia e uno specchio riscaldante così puoi guardarti subito allo specchio. La colazione era davvero molto buona e varia. Abbiamo camminato per 10 minuti fino al centro. Ci sono anche supermercati nella zona. Abbiamo parcheggiato l'auto a 10 minuti di distanza. L'abbiamo prenotato in anticipo ed è stato bello. Sono aperti 24 ore al giorno quindi c'è sempre qualcuno pronto ad aiutarti quando hai bisogno di aiuto. Il personale è stato gentile, amichevole e disponibile. Abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno di nostra figlia qui e hanno decorato la stanza. Hanno fatto di tutto per rendere il nostro soggiorno fantastico.

Nice hotel and good location. People who work there are friendly and helpful. Free coffee, tea and water in the room. Room clean and has aircon. You are next to restaurants, bars, take aways and supermarkets. Very quick walk to the central area of Antwerp and to the river. There is a cafe downstairs. You only have until 8pm to check in so be careful. Didn't see any staff during the evenings, and you have to buzz yourself into the reception with your room card. Might be a bit problematic if you have issues and no staff working. You can get breakfast buffet for around €20.

The reason of booking this hotel was because of the modern and cool room design and its swimming pool.  However, the stay was bad. We stayed for three day, and didn't required for the cleaning service until day 3 morning.  And the unexpected sittuation happened. We had missing items on my cosmetic and massage products and tools.  We did contact the hotel for the investigation, but they did not do any investigation and only said I will be upgraded with breakfast for the next day.  The swimming pool needs to be booked before going, but actually no one managed and controlled the number of people using the pool.  It starts to get crowned for more than 12 people. The towels were on every sun bed, even no one was using them.  The check-in was not smooth and fast. It took an hour to access the room. I was charged the city tax two times, one prepaid online, another time on arrival.  Then the front desk requested me to send a formal email to enquire the hotel about the over charged of city tax, then the fee was waived at once in 15 minutes later. The room key did not work with the first room then I was given a new room key for another room 15 minutes later There were no chair / stool for the customers at the check-in desk, and the check-in process was so long and tiring.  I was not happy with my stay.
