A shower is not simply a shower for me. A shower is a way of acclimating myself to the lucidity required to engage in everyday life. It is a way to mentally and physically prepare myself for whatever may lie ahead for me for the day. It's a routine that borders on a spiritual ritual to allow myself to function in the world at my maximum potential. I am not exaggerating, then, when I say my shower at The Inn and Spa at Loretto was one of the most uncomfortable experiences in my life. I awoke early in the morning in eager anticipation to enjoy everything Santa Fe has to offer, and as I watched the sun rise over the Sangre de Christo Mountains, marveling at the beauty of the New Mexico sunrise. All that was left for me was to take my shower and prepare for the day. Nothing could have prepared me for what happened next. I stepped into the bathroom and made my way over to the shower, and turned the knob as I always would to roughly halfway to initiate the process. As I anxiously waited to begin my shower routine, the bathroom quickly filled with steam. After the cool morning air this felt nice at first, but of course I didn't want to scald myself! I turned the faucet back towards the cool side as I stepped into the shower, expecting that I understood where I would reach a ”warm” temperature. Within seconds I was blasted with ice cold water as if straight from a glacier. Pain shot up my spine to my neck as the icy water rained upon me, and I reflexively turned the knob back towards the hot side, thinking I surely had found the ”happy medium”. Within moments I was engulfed in red hot water that felt as if it had just been boiled in a tea pot across my face and neck, stunning me yet again. Frustrated, I moved the shower head directly to the floor, spraying my feet with the same steaming water. I then carefully moved the faucet, one centimeter at a time towards the cold side, gauging the point at which the water would begin to cool. Amazingly, there was no change. After 10 or so careful movements of the knob, the water began to cool, to my great relief. However, within moments the ice cold water returned, once again sending shivers up my spine. After more experimentation and constant discomfort, it became clear that there were only two options for this shower: burning hot or ice cold. The rest of my shower was spent doing a horrible dance of moving between excessively hot and cold water, moving my body out of the water frequently to minimize the pain. I ultimately managed to do the bare minimum necessary to get myself clean, with the chance of a relaxing and revitalizing experience clearly being out of the question. This is not how I would want anyone to start their day, and I feel this should be unacceptable for a hotel with the stature and reputation of The Inn and Spa at Loretto. While the rest of my experience there was quite nice, this shower left me with an awful feeling for much of my day. I hope they are able to ensure that future guests do not have to go through an experience like this.

Overall very good, but we could've used some more towels, the desk chair was very uncomfortable, not much space for suitcases. Decor was great however, all the support for unique art is greatly appreciated and the staff was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the El Monte Sagrado hotel. We had mistakenly booked an accessible room, and wanted a tub in our room. Amy at the front desk was extremely helpful, and switched us into another room, brought us new keys and escorted us to a room with a wonderful tub. We were there on the last night of our honeymoon, and the staff added wonderful little perks and touches to make our honeymoon extra special. When it started raining, the valet staff had complimentary umbrellas on hand for our trip into town. In short, The El Monte Sagrado is a wonderful place with great service!

The customer service was initially great upon check in. Since I have been driving cross country I didn’t really have time to check the details about the parking. When arrived I was told parking was booked and I told I could Park in the side street between the convenient store and the hotel. My car got broken into that night or early morning. Now the staff was good at that moment letting me use the room a little longer to figure out what to do and make sure the police report was good a ect. They had a camera on that street facing my car. This is were the customer service falls. Its been over a week of me ask and calling to request the video footage of the incident and I keep getting pushed to the side. Apparently no one know the situation with me getting the footage but the manager and the so called security team thats in charge with the videos footage. I have sent an email requesting it and have not received nothing. No call back in regards to the video footage. This is highly unprofessional when a customer had their vehicle broken into when staying on their property. I should have gotten the footage at least a day or two after the incident but a full week is crazy and i have to wait for a manager to be on site on Tuesday to get my situation resolved! Unprofessional and unacceptable.

ダブルベッドx2のスイートを予約し、連日歩き通しのプランなので疲れを取るため事前に浴槽付きの部屋が確保できる様ホテルへ直接メールで念押し確認しておいたのですが、当日に団体客が入ったとの理由から滞在中全てシャワーのみの部屋になってしまい、残念でした。また室内にコーヒーメーカーがなく、朝11時までフロント近くのバーエリアに設置されるのを取りに行く必要があり不便でした。部屋からはすぐの距離ですが、しかたなく身なりを整えてコーヒーを取りに行ったところ、たまたまバスローブ1枚で前をはだけて、下は**・裸足の方がいて、そこまで気を使わなくて良いのだと学びました。こちらは慌てて目をそらしたので、その方が女性だったのか男性だったのかも不明です。 朝9、10時くらいから夜22時まで、サンタフェ中心地のマップ内（地図をもらえます）であれば、どこでも無料シャトルバス（チップのみ）を頼めるのは便利でした。 ホテルから出発する際はフロントに伝えて入り口で待つと1～5分程度でとてもフレンドリーなドライバーが来てくれます。また外からホテルまでのピックアップはフロントに電話で場所を伝える必要があります。今回はアメリカ国内で電話が使えなかったので、帰りは毎回Uberタクシーを使いましたが、サンタフェ市内Uberタクシーの利用は問題ありませんでした。日中に中心地まで歩くのは問題ないですが、暗くなってからの帰りは安全面のため徒歩は避けたほうがよさそうです。歩いて数分の所にあるTomasita’sというレストランは南西部料理がとてもおいしかったです。またホテルのドアを出てぐるっと駐車場エリアを回ると、裏口から土曜日朝のファーマーズマーケットまですぐです。ファーマーズマーケットと隣接して現地の生産者から直接アクセサリーやタイルアート等のお土産が買えるエリア（屋内・屋外）もあり、楽しめました。 夜になると暖炉のあるレストランエリアで生演奏が楽しめます。ネイティブアメリカンの笛の演奏はとても幻想的で素敵でした。 部屋は天井が高くゆったりした作りですが、洗面台にドアがついていないため誰かが寝ているときにドライヤ―を使うのははばかられます。ベッドが高くて日本人にとってはよじ登らないといけず、ちょっと腰かける様に座ることが出来ませんが寝心地は大変よかったです。

Abbiamo prenotato una camera del re, pagato per la stessa e ricevuto conferma. Solo dopo aver fatto check-in e andato in camera, abbiamo scoperto che era 2 letti doppi. Quando mio marito andò a cambiare le camere, una persona al tavolo disse che i re erano tutti prenotati e l'altra persona al tavolo diceva che c'era un modello e non c'erano letti di re. Evidentemente non erano interessati a aiutarci, e dato che avevamo già scaricato tutto il nostro bagaglio, ci siamo rimasti li. AVERTENZA che ciò che li prenoti non sia quello che hai ricevuto, e in loco, e ciò non è stato spiegato da nessuna parte.

Anche se è vecchio, è stato ragionevolmente aggiornato. Non c'è molto vicino all'hotel, ma è facile accedere ad una strada principale. Quando ho controllato, mi sono sbrigato nel processo come se ci fossero molte persone dietro di me ... ma non solo me, quindi non sono sicuro perche' il desktop era così veloce. Volevo anche usare la cassaforte sul desk, ma non avevano la seconda chiave, quindi hanno messo i miei valori nel gabinetto dei manager, quindi non proprio come il giorno dopo era un po' agitato, perché il personale si trovava dove erano i miei valori. Alla fine tutto è stato fatto.

Un bel hotel situato a soli un isolato dal museo Lensic & Georgia Okeefe e a soli cinque minuti a piedi dalla piazza. La camera era spaziosa e il bagno sembrava essere aggiornato, anche se il tappeto era piegato. Bello toccamento: la maggior parte delle luci sul dimmer! Il frigorifero era mancato di controllo del tempo e in necessità se si scongela. La maggior parte dei nostri oggetti si congela entro 24 ore. Il nostro allenamento nel centro fitness è stato interrotto da un difetto meccanico che ha riempito la stanza con fumo! . I bagagli sono stati riempiti solo per uso da campanelli, quindi portare una valuta! Nessun caricatore EV in garage.

Il nostro soggiorno al Sage in è stato sorprendente. Il personale è stato molto amichevole e molto utile con entrambi i check-in, check-out, e qualsiasi ulteriore domanda che abbiamo avuto. Il ristorante e il bar situato sul sito è sorprendente. E c'è un grande posto in salada circa un 5-minute passeggiata dall'hotel (Vinaigrette). Possiamo camminare 10 minuti al mercato agricolo anche sabato! La posizione è grande e vicino a tutto quello che dovete fare a Santa Fe.

Il parcheggio è ampio, scoperto e gratuito. La stanza è grande, ma l'arredamento è piuttosto vecchio. Il servizio in generale è buono. Si trova alla periferia della città. Ci sono molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze ed è sicuro.
