I booked the hotel on the spur of the moment after a delayed flight caused me to miss my connecting flight. The hotel was next to the airport which was ideal as I was flying out the next morning. Room was very clean and spacious. I had scrambled eggs on sourdough toast for breakfast which was delicious and a decent size. I would stay here again.

Arriving at the international airport, we needed to depart the next morning on a domestic flight so opted to stay at the Gateway because it was on the route of the free bus with accommodation. $8 pp if no booking. The Hotel looked shabby from the outside, however was really surprised at how clean and comfortable the rooms were, we also dined in the restaurant, large portion, food, and reasonable prices would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here, the room was clean, bed comfortable and easy access to the pool. There is a bus leaving every 5 min from the front door to the airport. Takes about 30 min.

Questo hotel è una scelta di grande valore se si arriva a Auckland e vuole creare una base. Mia sorella e io ci siamo fermati il 10th-11th Luglio mentre facevo la prenotazione a causa degli hotel vicini agli Aeroporti Auckland e a Snap Rentals, una società di noleggio auto (molto buono) che ho usato prima in NZ. Abbiamo chiamato la ricezione dell'hotel e poco dopo ci hanno raccolti (porta 9) in minibus. Il nostro trasferimento al nostro hotel ci ha preso circa 12 minuti. Il check-in era veloce, la nostra camera era molto pulita, in suite, i letti erano comodi e abbiamo avuto un frigo e accessori di toaletta. Abbiamo dormito bene e la mattina dopo, un servizio di trasferimento è stato disponibile all'aeroporto, molto vicino al luogo di affitto, ma il conducente mi ha preso direttamente a Snap Rentals, e sono tornato all'hotel che ha facilmente accesso a un parcheggio gratuito ampiamente per raccogliere mia sorella. Poiché l'hotel era così buono, fantastico valore e il personale così utile, ho deciso di ribookare per 15th-16th Luglio per la notte prima del nostro volo di ritorno in Gran Bretagna. Mia sorella ha ordinato qualcosa di cibo in questa occasione - e è stato molto buono e molto prezioso. Non essere messo a disposizione dai prezzi notevolmente carini, questo è un grande piccolo hotel con più da offrire di quanto abbiamo avuto tempo di godere (bagno, ecc.). Lo consiglierei molto.

I am very thankful got to stay at Airport Kiwi Motel as I left my bag on the yellow bus and reception gentleman helped me to track it back for me wothout missing anything. The room is spacious and cups and bowls with other kitchen items are very helpful and clean. just that i heard neighour room's noise like kids talking and adult snooring :D I will book again if i need to change flights in short days.

La stanza era molto bella. Se siete a un piano alto potete vedere la costa. C'è un supermercato Woolworth accanto ed è anche vicino a Princes Wharf. Queen Street, l'Università di Auckland e la Sky Tower sono tutte raggiungibili a piedi. Molto comodo.

The hotel have an open kitchen, good to communicate with my boys while cooking. The hotel also have washing machine and dryer, very convenience for long staying. The hotel staffs are friendly. The room service is by requested on or before noon time one day before. We forgot to request 2 days, the dirty towels like a small mountain in the bathroom. I called the house keeping 10 times and only got 1 time had been answered. I need to go down to the reception to get the salt , pepper, dish wash detergent, towels etc. There is only one air-con unit in the living room, bedrooms doesn't have, the fans in the bedrooms are not working properly.

Excellent choice if you are traveling with kids.  The room was very clean and well equipped.  The kids loved their own separate sleeping area which had a single bed and a bunk bed that is capable of housing up to 4 kids.  Room price included a complimentary visit to the top of the sky tower.

We were really looking forward to our stay at this hotel, which is new, has a very central location, is very clean, and has a very-well equipped gym. These features were greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, we encountered a few issues that affected our experience. Despite booking for three guests, our room was only prepared for two, and even after requesting additional amenities, they were not fully provided. The in-room phone was also not working, making it difficult to communicate with the front desk. Housekeeping seemed inconsistent—our room was not thoroughly cleaned after the first night, with some items left out of place and the trash not emptied. Additionally, when ordering a breakfast box for an early checkout, we were surprised by the lack of flexibility in food choices, as we could only remove items rather than substitute them. A bit more understanding from the staff in handling such requests would have been appreciated. Lastly, we noticed that some of the buffet food tasted stale, and one of our family members felt unwell afterward. We’re not sure if this was an isolated incident, but it was a bit concerning.
