A New Hotel with Potential, but Service Falls Short of Five-Star Standards Pros The hotel is clearly new, and the room is spacious, modern, and equipped with brand-new furniture and fixtures. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioning works very well, and the plumbing is in good condition. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The hotel appears to cater primarily to Chinese tourists, with large tour groups arriving by coach. Accordingly, breakfast is largely Chinese-style, which may not suit everyone's tastes. The breakfast area can also be quite noisy, as guests often speak loudly, sometimes seemingly trying to talk over one another. This makes breakfast less relaxing than one might expect. On the positive side, the staff are very accommodating and are happy to prepare alternatives upon request. For example, they kindly made an omelette for me, which I appreciated. Another highlight is the rooftop bar on the seventh floor, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Cons Unfortunately, several issues detract from the overall experience. There was no soap in the bathroom, despite shampoo and shower gel being provided in the shower. The shower drain was extremely slow, forcing me to turn off the water periodically to prevent the bathroom from flooding. In addition, an unpleasant musty smell frequently came from the bathroom. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable and kept disconnecting, which was frustrating. Despite having a kettle, tea bags, and instant coffee in the room, there were no cutlery items at all, not even a teaspoon to stir the coffee. Such a small detail, yet an important one when it comes to basic room amenities. The curtains also close automatically every time you return to the room, meaning you have to open them again manually using a button during the daytime. This is a rather odd and inconvenient feature. Another issue is housekeeping. Daily cleaning is not provided automatically and must be requested by displaying the appropriate sign. This is an unexpected policy for a hotel claiming five-star status. The location is another drawback. The hotel is situated away from the main part of town, where most restaurants, cafés, and other activities are concentrated. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to the centre, including around 200 metres along a very dusty road. This makes walking back and forth less pleasant, especially if you plan to visit the town centre several times a day. Overall impression The hotel has a solid foundation: it is new, spacious, and comfortable in several respects. The comfortable bed, effective air conditioning, and rooftop bar are definite advantages. However, the service and attention to detail do not match the five-star category it claims to offer. For me, five-star hospitality means consistent, uncompromising standards. Guests should not have to ask for basic bathroom essentials, improvise when making coffee, deal with a poorly draining shower and unpleasant bathroom odours, endure an unreliable Wi-Fi connection, or explicitly request routine housekeeping. The noisy breakfast environment and the dusty road leading to the town centre also make the overall experience less comfortable. Individually, some of these issues may seem minor, but together they reveal significant shortcomings in service, maintenance, and quality control. A five-star hotel should not require guests to make compromises on such basic aspects of their stay. The hotel has potential, but considerable improvements are needed in day-to-day operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and attention to detail before it can truly deliver a five-star experience.

The stay was okay, but unfortunately the staff were not very friendly and didn’t even greet guests, which made me feel unwelcome. Also, the prices for renting a scooter were almost twice as high as at other places nearby. Overall, it was fine, but I expected a warmer atmosphere and fairer prices.

The place located a bit far from Vangvieng city center but it's a perfect place for staycation. We went there on week day so there's not a lot of people stay in the hotel which is very good for our group. Hotel have a wonderful view of mountain and river for us to just sit and stair at it, but if you prefer to swim can go ahead! Staff are very friendly and ready to help, 100% satisfy with all service. We contacted hotel staff before our visit so they turn on the AC ready before our arrival. We also met two lovely siberian husky there too!

Hotel super pulito e bellissimo con vista magnifica! 🥹🙌🏻 Oggi siamo stati aggiornati in camere di vestiti di business! Con grandi e ampia finestre per vedere le montagne 🏔️ e nubi 🌧️ un posto così meraviglioso e bellissimo! Ci sono stati alcuni piccoli incidenti come i pani di potenza e così via, ma oltre a che il giovane signore nel lobby era sempre pronto ad aiutarci 💕🙏🏻 lo lodiamo per il suo duro lavoro e rendere questo soggiorno a Vang Vieng così piacevolmente felice 😃!!

All'inizio, ho pensato che la stanza fosse troppo piccola. Il prezzo non era economico, ma i servizi erano paragonabili solo a quelli di un hotel nazionale e c'era un leggero odore di muffa. Tuttavia, dopo aver confrontato la zona circostante, ho scoperto che è uno dei migliori hotel di Vangrong. Le camere con vista sulle montagne offrono la vista di mongolfiere e paramotori ogni mattina e sera, e al mattino si può ammirare l'alba dal tetto. Anche la posizione è piuttosto comoda e la piscina è relativamente pulita. Altamente raccomandato.

Camera pulita, personale amichevole. Viaggi di attività consigliati è molto buono. Buon servizio, prenota una stanza per gli amici per soggiornare anche.

La stanza era spaziale Aircon quasi non funzionava, il ventilatore soffitto era un salvatore Le tolette non sono così ben ventilate, l'acqua continua a gocciare tutta la notte dalla doccia e la guancia Balcone è bello con grande vista Il caffè non era bevibile - mettono come 4 tazze di zucchero in una tazza In sintesi, era molto decente per i soldi che hanno pagato.

La stanza che mi hanno dato prima aveva un problema, la carta chiave non funzionava e la porta non si apriva, e mi hanno rapidamente cambiato e mi hanno aggiornato da una stanza standard a una stanza VIP con tre finestre. Poi vedevo il risalto e il risalto del sole dalla mia stanza, che era assolutamente bella. L'hotel era molto pulito, il personale era molto utile e la posizione era eccellente.

Owner is so friendly and helpful!! The hotel wasn’t fitting for my needs but she but she was great helping me. cleanliness is lacking, sheets and towels don’t smell good and the room is organized very inconveniently and outdated. All electricity switches are by the room door, including the bathroom one. The room i originally booked was tiny and smelled awful and the bathroom door didn’t close- so the showergot the room wet- hence the mildew smell. The owner allowed me to upgrade to a better room. And after two nights, we shortened our stay via trip app and she gave me back the fee I added for the upgrade. The bar across the street plays loud music until midnight and the rooms aren’t soundproof so if you’re sensitive keep this in mind. bike rental is great. And again- owner is amazing!

Buon hotel per il suo prezzo. Ci sono stati colazione e pulizia giornaliera. La posizione è molto buona. C'è una piscina, non l'abbiamo mai usata, ma ho visto persone che nuotano. Il pranzo non è quello che volevamo, perché saremmo più felici di vedere il riso invece del pane bianco fatto di frumento semplice :) ma abbiamo ordinato + incontrarlo per nutrire animali affamati Abbiamo cambiato 2 camere all'inizio perché la prima aveva un odore folle di sigarette (non andare a 103!), la seconda sulla stessa pianta aveva specchi rotti. Quindi con bagagli pesanti abbiamo scelto di andare al secondo piano. 203 stanza è ok /) Tutto non è nuovo e obsoleto, ma per un prezzo così buono. L'IVA è necessario lasciare le scarpe fuori prima di entrare in un posto speciale e camminare in tutta la zona dell'hotel senza scarpe.
