i absolutely love this place. Food, beach, sea, pool everything was gorgeous. Any dish and drinks from menu was so much delicious. Staff was so friendly and helpful. It was really the best choice for such price. Also I liked so much that can take for free some boats and kayaks from the hotel. We really had more fun there. Also want to mention some minuses which maybe not totally connected with the hotel but would like somebody tell me in advance about it: 1) hotel doesn’t accept all cash. At our last day we need to get some changes and hotel didn’t accept my hundred dollar because there was some red stamp on it. As for me it’s so strange but I heard it could happen in Cambodia. But next day when we moved to the Sihanouk they accept this hundred dollar easily , so I don’t understand this logic too much. But even the hotel didn’t accept that hundred they still help us with some cash as for us it was urgent to buy tickets for early morning ferry. 2) and the biggest minus it was trip which we bought from the hotel: fishing +snorkeling +sunset+plankton Never ever buy it! Safe 20$ for anything else. The most useless half of day of my trip was there. And what make me sad it was last day in the Koh Rong. Was upset that spent last evening at this stupid way. The tour is organized by tourist group “three brothers “ and the hotel sell it. Could be nice if they tell from beginning that this trip is a total 💩and don’t allow spoil vocation of there customers. But anyway nobody force us to buy it so can’t totally blame hotel, but…😢 So will explain why I such upset about the trip. We came to the ferry and boat brought us to another place where stay 3 boats . Than we change boat and a guy just give us that special mask for snorkeling and tell: ok go… but our boat was staying between 2 other boats so how I should go I didn’t understand. After we sitting and don’t understand anything for 10-15 min other boats left than we decided to go inside water. There was no fish !!!!!!!!! Maybe maximum 5 fishes!!!!!! We saw more in the hotel.than fishing: they didn’t teach us anything didn’t explain anything we just stop they gave us something as thing for fishing and just went to sleep. Than after one hour when one chinese girl almost start to vomiting we went to dirty dirty and over dirty long set beach for sunset. And we arrived there around 3:30-4! So should wait for sunset 2 hours!!!!! When we ask to put at least music they said: captain want to sleep… And beach was over dirty!!!! Than they start to cook some food gave some drinks, we watch sunset was beautiful ( because thanks God they can’t spoil sunset) and then we went to watch plankton. I was so exited about that and than they stop us on the middle of the nowhere and don’t tell anything. Where is plankton? Full moon no have plankton… how we know it? Why we still stay in that place 30 mint. I would like to know answers for all this questions but nobody gave me it… so was the worst time from 1:30pm to 7:30pm. If don’t Wang to spoil u day never go there!!!!

I spent four days at Laguna in May. It is the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The resort is surrounded by nature. I stayed in one of the bungalows. The room was clean, modern and had all of the amenities I expected. The restaurant area is wonderful, with very reasonable prices. It is lovely and open so you can watch the sunset over the island of an evening. The hotel offers pool (billiards), board games and boat trips around the island. However, the best thing about Laguna is the staff. Michael the Manager and Neal the bar tender are warm, friendly and work hard to make your stay the best it can possibly be. My friend and I are vegetarian so they gave us some additional off menu options. I would highly recommend a stay at Laguna.

Even before our arrival, she went above and beyond to ensure that our journey to the resort was seamless. Her attentiveness, helpfulness, and wealth of knowledge about the island made our experience truly unforgettable. It's evident that Karolina's departure from the resort will be a significant loss, as her dedication to customer satisfaction is unparalleled. Her high standard of customer service will be sorely missed and it will probably be impossible to adequately replace her. In addition to Karolina's outstanding service, the resort itself offers a serene and relaxing environment. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The resort's location, nestled on the shores of Koh Rong, is perfect for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty. Overall, Golden Beach Resort is a hidden gem on Koh Rong, made even more special by the exceptional hospitality of Karolina and her team. While we are saddened by the news of her departure, we are grateful for the unforgettable memories she helped create during our stay.

La spiaggia era tranquilla e aveva una vista magnifica sul sole. Il servizio era grande e il personale era molto ospite e gentile. Le camere sono basilari ma molto pulite e il letto è davvero comodo e grande.

Il servizio dell'hotel è molto buono, ho inviato un'e-mail in anticipo e qualcuno è venuto a prendermi quando sono sceso dalla nave. Poi ho fatto il check-in prima delle due. Anche lo scenario dell'hotel è molto bello e il ristorante è fantastico delizioso! C'è anche un cane molto carino, Jenny! Ci tornerò la prossima volta che andrò!

Ho trascorso tre notti presso il Long Set Resort. Sicuramente la migliore struttura presente sulla spiaggia di Long Set. Personale cordiale e premuroso,ambienti puliti, buona qualità del cibo. Koh Rong offre bellissime spiagge, anche se non curate e piene di plastica e immondizia trascinate dal mare. La spiaggia del Long Set Resort viene sempre tenuta pulita. Il mare, quando sono stata io, era sempre un po’ mosso, quindi non so dire quanto possa essere trasparente e cristallino senza vento.

Independence Beach
I really don't like the staff who handle reservations at this hotel. I know I made my booking online, and I reserved three rooms. I tried to request that all three rooms be on the same floor by contacting the reservation staff via Telegram, but she didn't place us on the same floor and was quite rude. I mentioned that I needed one extra bed, which she provided, but regarding my request for all the rooms to be on the same floor, she put one of our rooms on a different floor. 😡 When I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told me that they had three rooms on the same floor, contrary to what the reservation handler had told us.

Posto bellissimo con un mare veramente top , si puo vedere anche il plancton luminescente unico neo la mancanza di tende oscuranti nelle camere , alle 6 del mattino già svegliati dalla troppa luce, per il resto tutto molto bello

A serene setting adorned our seaside villa & balcony atop, sea water lapping beneath. Villa 126 with vogue decor & a wraparound view to match was as perfect as the abundant sea life that exists below with crabs scurrying about doing their business a the sight of magnificent tropical fish of many colours including a school of Angelfish & an array of ever colourful coral spanned Pearl Resorts entire coastal boardwalk. Sheer delight! The highlight being the view beneath the waters surface in a CLEAR KAYAK at 6:30am the silent serene glass like sea water enabled a mesmerising view; an array of intricate coloured corals with hundreds of fish weaving through its channels, unbelievable in our now ever changing climate BUT it was real! Can't fault this resort from the time we arrived to its end the facilities and activities & to the hospitality staff incl. the managers to the service staff were all outstanding & waterside beauty & body treatments with Jenny it’s well & truely beyond a 5 star resort. Exquisite food of perfect presentation & perfectly cooked seafood al dente’ pasta & rice a foodies delight even the breakfast lobster fried rice was sensational. Their chefs I’d rate as Michelin Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gordon Ramsay you really need to sample here! ~LOVE LOVE LOVE PEARL RESORT~IT’S TOP ON OUR LIST~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ K&B

Il resort si trova in un angolo di paradiso, mare e spiaggia stupendi. Il personale è stra gentile e attento al cliente, la cucina buona, la cura del verde e degli spazi esterni anche, ma purtroppo è carente nella manutenzione ed incuria all'interno delle camere. Quando siamo arrivati ci hanno dato una camera sporca, specchi schizzati, letto che puzzava, sfornita di saponi ed asciugamani, anzi, uno c'era ma era sporco segno che apparteneva al cliente di prima. Inaccettabile! La seconda camera migliore in igiene ma purtroppo, dopo pochi giorni, ci siamo resi conto che il materasso, tra l'altro duro e scomodo, era colonizzato da acari della polvere o da chissà quali altri piccoli parassiti perciò avevamo tutto il corpo pieno di tanti piccole reazioni da contatto e da piccoli morsi. Inaccettabile anche questo! Ogni cosa in camera parla di una manutenzione scadente e/o inesistente per non parlare della gestione di essa, lenzuola bucate, rubinetti che perdono, luci che non funzionano ... un giorno, mio marito è dovuto andare a chiedere la carta igienica nella hall, ma davvero??! In un resort?? E tutti i giorni dovevamo fare richiesta degli asciugamani puliti, perché nel riordino della camera li toglievano e non li rimettevano. Per correttezza scrivo che, quando la direzione è venuta a conoscenza del nostro disagio con il letto, ci ha fatto cambiare camera, molto bella e con un letto più comodo, purtroppo era l'ultima notte ed era la 3 camera in 5gg. Ho apprezzato molto il loro gesto, quello sicuramente. Peccato, è un posto con un potenziale incredibile eppure non sono in grado di gestirlo al meglio
