Islanda: hotel con bar nella provincia di Suðurland

Had a great stay! Great location for exploring the southern coast. Rooms were nice and the free breakfast was a great perk. Very friendly staff as well. Would recommend staying here.

The good: - Breakfast was very good! - Room and bed was warm. - hot water shower works almost instantly. - Netflix and Amazon Prime available on the TV. Can be improved: - toilet slide door emited loud screeching sound which was annoying. - poor sound isolation between floors, we stayed on the ground floor and we could hear stomping the whole night. We feedback this to the hotel staff but was just given a “I cannot do anything about it” face and a shoulder shrug which clearly indicated they did not have the intention to do anything about it. - phone in the room was not working, staff had to reboot it as they said it’s a common issue. - the air vent in the bathroom stopped moving after sometime, was told to turn it off and on again to make it work again. - we checked in the same time as another couple at the reception, we overheard that they got a complementary room upgrade from the standard room (same as us). We asked if we would be upgraded as well, staff just told us that it depends on the amount we paid for the room. But clearly we booked the same standard room? Overall: Room rate was on the high side and much was expected but the condition of the room and service were under delivered.

We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

Il prezzo delle case è simile a quello di Hong Kong, e anche la zona è piccola, la stanza è piccola e il bagno è minuscolo. Nessuna delle due valigie poteva essere aperta completamente. Non c'è ascensore nell'hotel. Dopo il check-in, ho portato la mia valigia su e giù per le scale, il che è stato un po' faticoso.

Sento un nuovo hotel Perche'non c'è molto in autunno, Ci sono molti bagni, ci sono anche molti bagni. La cucina è grande, ci sono fornitori di forno, microonde, fornitori elettrici, lavastoviglie automatiche, vari condimenti, fornitori di pane, frigoriferi, dovrebbe essere tutto Anche se è una stanza mista, ogni letto ha un proprio tiro. E' molto privacy. L'intero hotel ha il caldo Molto comodo

Il divano era molto bello e utile per riscaldare il cibo per noi, anche se non era il suo lavoro. La vista dalla stanza era sorprendente e mi piace lo shampoo che hanno fornito! È stato divertente durante il soggiorno

L'hotel è sulla strada di ritorno a Mine City. A causa della nostra esplorazione interna del vulcano il giorno successivo, l'hotel è a più di mezz'ora di distanza. La stanza non è troppo grande, è abbastanza utile, è pulita e pulita

La cucina aveva una microonde e una caldaia per preparare un pasto semplice, e il bagno era moderno e senza spot. Il riscaldamento del pavimento ha creato un'atmosfera confortevole, soprattutto nelle mattine. La posizione è perfetta, solo una passeggiata perfetta verso il mare, dove l'aria fresca e la vista sono incantevoli. Uno dei punti di vista è stato il numero di pecore che si ergevano nelle vicinanze, che hanno dato alla zona un pacifico e paesaggio affascinante. Nessun WiFi nella cabina disponibile ma nel soggiorno nell'edificio vicino

Great place as a rest stop near kirkjubaer. We used Hotel Laki is a base for 3D2N. Nice view from room, service staff spoke english very well. Breakfast was basic and sufficient, eggs, vegetables, cold cuts and cereal with various sauces. Bread toasting station. Id say the machine coffee (espresso based) was one of the best machine made ones we had in Iceland. Nice view from restaurant and bar as well. My room was missed for cleaning but its fine not much had to be done anyway. Plenty of room and bathroom space. Welcomed by a lovely border collie in the compound. Bar opens late till 11

Absolutely fantastic location near the multiple active geysers. The included breakfast buffet at the Hotel Geysir is incredible with many choices and high quality food. This is a basic room but a good value considering alternatives and location.
