Regno Unito: hotel con bar nella provincia di West Midlands

Rimango qui una volta all'anno, non lontano dal NEC di Birmingham. La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta quanto vicino all'autostrada, ma si sente come se si trova in campagna così tranquillo e rilassante. È probabile che potesse fare con un po' di TLC, perché alcuni dei mobili della mia stanza sembravano un po' stanchi ma ancora molto puliti. Sono stato a questo hotel molte volte negli anni e ho usato la piscina una volta che è l'unico posto a fianco. Non mi avrei mai usato di nuovo, non come l'esperienza di relax dell'hotel che mi aspettavo, come era molto occupato. Sembra che sia data priorità al pubblico pagatore per gli ospiti dell'hotel e la sala di cambio era disgustosa con i tovaglioli usati messo in alto sul pavimento. Il personale si trovava in giro a ridere con i suoi compagni e doveva interrompere per chiedere dove ottenere i tovaglioli, quindi doveva chiedere ad un altro membro del pubblico come aprire i serbatoi.

Comodissimo per tutto! Siamo arrivati ​​prima del previsto. Abbiamo incontrato degli amici al Brindley Place e abbiamo trascorso un weekend piacevole insieme. La colazione era ottima, con molta varietà, personale cordiale e opzioni per tutte le esigenze alimentari. Il parcheggio era vicinissimo e relativamente economico, considerando la posizione. I letti erano molto comodi e il bagno ben fornito con prodotti White Company. Nessun rumore dai vicini, quindi nel complesso un'ottima scelta.

Sono arrivato sabato pomeriggio e ho trascorso la sera, poi sono andato domenica mattina. Il WiFi non funziona in questa stanza, che non è buono. Il tempo è un po' caldo, ma grazie a un fan nella stanza, la stanza è raffreddata a notte, il letto è grande (grande abbastanza per due persone) e la stanza è spaziosa con scrivania e sedie. Il bagno è ovviamente datato, ma le strutture funzionano bene, le tubature sembrano un po' vecchie, quindi potrebbe esserci un odore. Ci sono molti canali televisivi da scegliere. Si possono vedere alcuni edifici, l'autostrada e il ponte fuori dalla finestra e la scena non è niente da scrivere a casa. Ho camminato attraverso il centro della città di Coventry per arrivare all'hotel e le strade sono interessanti da guardare.

Questo hotel merita di più, ma il problema è che siamo in ritardo e hanno avuto un fallimento del sistema. Le chiavi non hanno mai lavorato con le porte e hanno portato a qualcuno dalla ricezione per entrarci. A causa di questa questione con la chiave non abbiamo accesso; luci, con d'aria, ecc così la stanza era piena di cose. Penso che questo potrebbe essere meglio e sarebbe felice fare un altro viaggio qui, perché penso che potrebbe essere molto meglio

Location is good, very close maybe 5 mins walk to new street station,China town and bullring ,grand plaza centre and M&S . Dopo un periodo difficile in ospedale, sono stato dimesso. Volevo una notte per riposare, riprendermi e rilassarmi. All'arrivo mi è stato detto che erano in corso dei lavori e che avrei potuto sentire rumore dalle 9 del mattino. È stato molto deludente saperlo al momento del check-in. Avrei preferito essere informato prima di pagare. Non mi è stata data la possibilità di annullare la prenotazione senza pagare l'intero importo della camera. La camera non era stata pulita a fondo e c'erano delle macchie di olio arancione rimaste dalla prenotazione precedente. Il personale delle pulizie non aveva pulito e non aveva messo degli asciugamani davanti alla macchia nell'armadio. Era disgustoso. Gli asciugamani non erano puliti e c'erano capelli e residui di sporco sopra. Ero andato al negozio e al mio arrivo la reception notturna non mi ha fatto entrare senza dichiarare il mio nome e il numero della camera per motivi di sicurezza (comprensibile). Ma questo ha messo a repentaglio la mia sicurezza, dato che altre persone si aggiravano fuori dall'hotel e potevano sentire tutto. Una coppia è entrata seguendomi in hotel e ho dichiarato alla reception di non conoscerli. Questo mi ha messo molto a disagio, dato che il traffico di esseri umani è in aumento. Credo che si possano trovare metodi di verifica migliori, sicuri per l'hotel e gli ospiti. Dopo essere stato svegliato alle 9:00 dagli addetti alle pulizie, ho cercato di dormire ancora un po'. La donna delle pulizie è entrata in camera senza bussare alle 11:30, quando non avevo ancora fatto il check-out e dovevo farlo alle 12:00. È stato uno shock enorme e mi ha fatto prendere dal panico. Se n'è andata e poi l'ho sentita ridere e scherzare con le altre donne delle pulizie fuori dalla stanza. Il mio stress e la mia angoscia sono stati esacerbati dal fatto che non posso chiudere a chiave la porta della mia camera dall'interno, il che significa che le persone possono comunque entrare se conoscono il codice PIN o se hanno una tessera magnetica. Avevo già soggiornato qui una volta ed era stato bello, ma questa volta è stato orribile. L'accoglienza è stata comunque deliziosa. Il mio diritto alla privacy e alla sicurezza è stato completamente violato per negligenza, formazione inadeguata e condotta inappropriata. Sono assolutamente indignato, per usare un eufemismo. Ho pagato per arrivare e godermi un momento di relax... Solo per andarmene più stressato di quando sono arrivato.

We enjoyed are stay , breakfast was included and had a lot of choice and was delicious, also I want to say a massive thank you to Leanne !!!! This lady is such a great person , she really went above and beyond for myself and my Aunti, my Aunti is disabled and had left her crutch on our train from Preston , on arrival we asked if there was anywhere we could buy a replacement but the shop was closed due to it being Sunday , this lady went to her house after her shift and gave us her late husbands walking still to lend for our stay!!  I just want to let this hotel chain know what an amazing and beautiful person they have as an employee.  Thank you once again Leanne .  And we will definitely be back in future .

Firstly, the staff we encountered were lovely, very accommodating and helpful. The reception entrance was promising, being bright and modern with a very pleasant receptionist and smooth check in. However, our room lacked appeal, comfort or anything that made one wish to stay in it for longer than a night. To be fair, we were asked twice on check in, if we would like to move to a different floor. I jokingly asked if there was a problem with the room we'd been allocated but was told no. We were allocated Room 7. Whilst it appeared clean to the best the facilities allowed, it was unpleasant. The bottom of the bathroom door appeared water damaged and rotten. The sink was cracked. The radiator was rusted by urine splashes as situated beside the toilet and the shower was situated in a recess with no curtain or screen, so quickly spilled on to the floor making the bath mat soaked. The lock on the bathroom door didn't work. There was no hair dryer. Only one USB point within the very small TV which only charged if it was on. Being on the ground floor, our window opened out on to the narrow walk way and one poor man walked into it on his way to reception. SatNav instructions take you to a dead end further down the road and several attempts at finding our way around the God awful roundabout eventually led us to a very small parking area at the front of the hotel. Breakfast at 9.00 pm was initially disappointing. One plate was available, no bread for the toaster, no milk for the cereals. One sausage, no beans, no bacon. More food did eventually appear, as did plates, and it was very nice. The croissants and pastries were lovely too. The coffee machine was good. As mentioned, the staff were very good and we requested an iron which was bought to us quickly with a board by a lovely young man. The bed was awful. Rock hard and not much comfort from a meagre duvet that was so thin that initially we thought it had been forgotten. Anyway, one night, cheap and basic. Served its purpose but would look elsewhere and pay more. Think we were just unlucky.

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Upon arrival, I noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the curtains, hair left on the towel/flannel in the bathroom, and marks on the table surfaces. I have attached photographs for reference, as I feel these are basic housekeeping standards that should have been checked prior to a guest arriving. I also experienced multiple issues with food and service during my stay. I ordered a charcuterie board, however the Parma ham and other cured meats appeared dried out, discoloured and no longer fresh. Unfortunately, after eating it, I also felt unwell afterwards, which was particularly concerning. Later, when ordering dinner, I asked for a croque monsieur but the staff member repeatedly did not understand the order, despite me explaining it was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I was eventually advised to order a panini instead. Additionally, I ordered truffle fries but was informed they were unavailable. I agreed to normal fries, however what arrived were heavily seasoned thick-cut chips which were completely different from what I expected and unfortunately not enjoyable. Another issue was the iron provided in the room, which had black residue/staining on it and ended up marking my top, which was very frustrating. As I had booked the stay primarily to relax and enjoy a quiet evening in the room with room service, it was disappointing that the overall experience did not feel comfortable or enjoyable. What disappointed me further was that upon check-out, nobody asked how my stay was or whether everything had been satisfactory, despite the multiple issues experienced throughout my visit. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I do not usually complain, however I felt the overall standard of cleanliness, food quality and service fell below expectations. Kind regards, Karolina
