This is the first time I've had an absolutely 10/10 experience with any hotel. This particular hotel also outranks every other Marriott I've ever stayed at. I genuinely could not think of a single negative point. I was only in Nanjing for 2 nights, in town for a meeting, and I'm so glad I chose to stay here. Firstly, the room is exactly as advertised. Marriott hotels always have the fluffiest pillows, but this particular hotel had the most HEAVENLY pillows. The bed was so comfy that I ended up postponing my day plans just so I could sleep in! I didn't realise how desperately I needed that rest and recuperation, and am glad I chose to stay here and get what I needed. Also, this hotel does not skimp on the water - most hotels will only give you 2 tiny bottles a day, which if it's blazing hot outside, can be frustrating, especially if you want to boil water for tea/coffee in the morning. This hotel provides 4-5 complimentary bottles of water per day. In many ways, I felt like they anticipated what I'd need and would provide it before I even had the chance to ask. There is also an ironing board stowed in the room, which for me was a lifesaver as I had an important meeting. As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is indeed fantastic. I was so relieved to find that after a long train journey, I only needed to hop on the subway for 1 stop - I didn't even need to exit the building, as the hotel is located inside the mall connected to the subway station. The breakfast spread is not too bad either, with the highlight for me being the espresso machines. When I tell you this machine delivers the most divine coffee in 10 seconds, I am not kidding. It was one of my favourite things and a great way to kickstart a busy day. At check-in, the reception staff ensured they gave me all the info I needed. I noticed this is often skipped at other hotels as staff are shy or reluctant to speak in English, which results in foreign guests missing out on relevant info or complimentary perks - but the Marriott team refused to let language be an obstacle. I was glad to learn free snacks and coffee were available in the executive lounge each evening. While I was there, the executive lounge manager - I think her name is Sheila, apologies if I've gotten this wrong - took the time to introduce herself and ask if I needed anything. She was so polite and genuinely seemed to want to improve the experience for guests. To me, these small touches are what set a service-oriented luxury hotel apart from others. On my first night, I'd arrived pretty exhausted after having sat on a delayed train for hours, and I wanted to order takeaway as I didn't have the energy to go out. They have ******* lockers positioned right at the hotel entrance, which you can unlock with your phone and collect your deliveries. Being a foreigner who doesn't understand Chinese very well, I wasn't sure how to navigate this, but the reception staff went out of their way to help me, ensuring they stayed with me until I'd collected my parcel - it was not at all necessary for them to help me so much, but they did, and I'm very grateful for that :) I spent the entire month traveling in China and so, looking back, am able to compare all of the hotels and experiences from this trip. This particular hotel ranks 10/10 for me not only because of the location, but also because of the kindness and professionalism of staff. Things can sometimes be confusing or overwhelming for foreigners, and this was the only hotel where staff didn't hesitate to rush in and offer to help, no matter how small the issue. Even the gentleman at the coffee bar in the lobby was so kind and polite - and might I add, everyone at this hotel speaks English, so they really do cater to an international crowd. Housekeeping staff too were very sweet, always greeting you and asking if you needed extra bottles of water. Thank you for a relaxing, delightful stay! I hope to come again and stay longer next time.

Questo ostello è stata davvero un'ottima esperienza. Innanzitutto, la posizione è perfetta, proprio vicino a Xinjiekou, il che è super comodo per tornare dopo aver visitato i siti turistici. La privacy è eccellente, ogni letto ha una spessa tenda oscurante che, una volta tirata, crea un piccolo spazio personale. In secondo luogo, la pulizia è impeccabile, le addette la effettuano ogni giorno e, in caso di soggiorni prolungati, possono anche cambiare le lenzuola e gli asciugamani, il che è davvero un plus. Terzo, la sensazione di sicurezza è massima! Ci sono piani separati per uomini e donne, quindi non c'è bisogno di preoccuparsi di situazioni imbarazzanti. Tornerò sicuramente!

Five-Day Stay in Nanjing Check-in Experience We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Accommodation We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit: Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property. RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games. **Ratings** Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities. Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days. **Things to Consider** It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center. If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include: - ATV rides - Fishing area - Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter) - Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry) - Train ride (30 RMB) The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car. **Challenges We Faced** My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available. However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

Ottima posizione, proprio sulla Shilu Pedestrian Street, vicino alla stazione della metropolitana e alle fermate degli autobus. Anche Shāngtáng Street è vicinissima, è comodissimo tornarci a piedi dopo una passeggiata serale! Il servizio alla reception è stato eccellente, il personale è molto proattivo nell'aiutare a risolvere qualsiasi problema e ci hanno persino dato un piccolo regalo al momento del check-out.

Attratto dall'arredamento unico della camera, ho cambiato itinerario e sono andato a Zhouzhuang. Il parcheggio n. 2 è a circa 5 minuti a piedi dall'alloggio. La sala da tè dell'alloggio è ricca di dettagli. Ci sono piccoli ponti e acqua corrente, uno studio fotografico di famiglia e una piscina all'aperto (la qualità dell'acqua dimostra l'attenta gestione del proprietario). Il tè Kung Fu e il camino sono perfetti per chiacchierare. Gli articoli da toeletta, come olio di cavallo, polistirolo e spazzolini da denti, dimostrano l'attenzione del proprietario alla qualità (paragonabili a quelli per uso domestico, non volevo buttarli via, quindi li ho portati a casa). La colazione gratuita è servita da Laozaotou sulla strada (girare a sinistra dopo essere usciti dalla porta, accanto al Tempio Taoista di Chengxu). A partire dalle 6 del mattino, è possibile scegliere tra vari snack locali come wonton, xiaolongbao e noodles Aozao. La colazione è deliziosa. P.S.: La proprietaria di Manxingju, Huanmei, è una donna meravigliosa, bella e di buon cuore. È stato un viaggio meraviglioso. Non vedo l'ora di incontrarti di nuovo.

Quando arriverai, trova Frankie: lavora qui e è assolutamente brillante, gentiluomo e conosciuto. In questo modo, si amano assolutamente la cucina locale e occidentale, il bar, la spiaggia falsa, il lago con i kayaks e le camere balconi sono straordinarie. Il posto è enorme e ci fa qualcosa per tutti, sia tu sia in famiglia. Però, i bambini di fine settimana sono troppo numerosi, quindi non si aspetta che le piscine siano belle e lussuose. Qualunque cosa, il prezzo è molto utile, e il servizio in camera è molto veloce quando hanno il personale di lingua inglese che prende la vostra chiamata. Le strutture sono grandi, la vista è semplicemente respiro, e i taxi locali e i camion didi possono facilmente entrare all'interno per cadere o prendere. Oh, e lo spettacolo della fonte è anche eccezionale!

Ho prenotato l'Anyi Hotel di Suzhou per un amico e il feedback dopo il soggiorno è stato eccellente, l'esperienza complessiva è stata molto soddisfacente. La posizione dell'hotel è davvero ottima, si può raggiungere a piedi la strada Guanqian, e ci sono molti ristoranti e negozi nelle vicinanze, il che è un grande vantaggio per chi visita Suzhou. L'hotel ha un design delle camere intelligente, si può controllare ”Xiao An” con la voce, il che è molto comodo e tecnologico. La camera nel complesso è pulita e confortevole, con un buon senso dello spazio, e ci si sente molto rilassati. Sono arrivato un po' presto quel giorno e ho chiesto alla reception se fosse possibile effettuare il check-in anticipato. Il personale è stato molto gentile e paziente nell'aiutarmi a coordinare e organizzare, e mi ha persino offerto un upgrade di camera, il che ha migliorato notevolmente l'esperienza. Inoltre, il WC intelligente, il letto e i cuscini in camera erano tutti molto comodi, i dettagli erano ben curati, e l'esperienza del soggiorno ha superato le aspettative. Il mio amico ha detto di essere molto soddisfatto, e se tornerà a Suzhou in futuro, considererà di scegliere di nuovo questo posto.

Mi è piaciuto davvero stare in questo hotel. È situato proprio nel centro della città, rendendo molto conveniente andare intorno. Ci è un centro commerciale direttamente collegato all'hotel, quindi trovare cibo e opzioni da mangiare è stato molto facile. L'hotel è molto familiare. Ci siamo fermati al piano superiore, e la vista era assolutamente sorprendente potevamo vedere sia il mare che le montagne. Il nostro bambino l'amava così tanto. Tuttavia, per gli ospiti che temono alti come mio marito, questa potrebbe non essere la scelta migliore, perché è probabilmente il più alto edificio della città. L'hotel è aperto da molti anni dall'esterno, ma l'interno è ancora moderno, pulito e ben mantenuto. La colazione ha offerto una vasta gamma di opzioni internazionali. In generale, abbiamo avuto una grande esperienza e siamo stati molto impressionati dal nostro soggiorno.

Pros: Amazing location close to Shajiabang. Serene and calming environment. Very fashionable  facilities that are spotless. Very good food. The takeout robots are awesome and when they are over-capacity, the front desk brings you the food Friendly and attentive staff  The fancy hairdryer and the warmed toilet seat was amazing. Shower pressure was impeccable  (but you take these things for granted at 4 star hotels...) TV software is very good, and you can easily stream stuff Cons: No English Signs / No communication with staff. Translation app helps a bit , but there were some misunderstandings and a difficulty to find the hotel lobby as there was no clear signage. Very good intentions though from staff, and you can't expect everyone to speak English. But having at least one person speaking English, as well as having billingual signs everywhere are important to ensuring that foreign guests feel more comfortable without having to always reach for their phone Different understanding of privacy: the housekeeping always knocked despite having Do Not Disturb on. I had to be mindful of them, which kinda stressed me.  2nd floor lake view feels exposed. My room was facing a public walking path into the reserve, and although not much traffic was happening, people could see me. Ideally the windows can be tinted to prevent this. Wifi is slow and not able to meet needs. Limited at around 10 MBPS (without vpn) and always buffered, but was good for basic stuff Bad soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in your neighbors  Constant alarm sound from the door latch. If you open your door while having it on, it makes a very loud alarm sound that is good because it deters crime, but it's annoying to hear it on accident while other people have the same issue. at lots of times Weird floor plans. at 2nd floor where the rooms are, you can get lost very easily. same at first floor which I accidentally went into the restaurant. Smell of smoke coming when AC is off from other rooms. perhaps more smoke detectors can be placed to deter this while fining violators, as well as isolating the AC system per room a bit more...

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!
