Mixed feelings after our Labour Day weekend stay. There is a lot to like about the Hilton Whistler. The location is excellent, the amenities are very good, and our room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchenette. Strangely, there were no pots or saucepans, which made the kitchenette somewhat less useful, but that was hardly a major problem. More concerning was finding several empty vodka bottles left inside one of the kitchen cabinets. We reported this to the front desk. It certainly makes you wonder how thoroughly the room was inspected between guests. Parking is another frustration. It costs $37 per night, yet signage in the garage prominently states that the owner and management assume no liability for loss or damage. Most of the readily available spaces also seemed designed for small vehicles, while many regular-sized spaces were reserved or difficult to find. Charging nearly $40 a night for parking while simultaneously reminding guests that the security of their vehicle is entirely their problem is not particularly reassuring. Check-in brought another unexpected inconvenience. The security deposit required a physical credit card. I normally carry only my phone and use Apple Pay, so I had to use my partner’s card, which was not what we intended. When I asked what would happen if neither of us had a physical card, I was told they would “find a way.” If there is another way, perhaps it should simply be available without putting guests through the inconvenience first. But the detail that left the worst impression was, remarkably, bottled water. Two bottles were left in the room with a large Hilton Honors tag stating that Diamond, Gold and Silver members receive them free, while “All Other Guests” are charged $3.50 per bottle. I understand loyalty programs. I understand providing upgraded rooms, breakfast, lounge access or other perks to frequent guests. But making complimentary drinking water a status benefit at a hotel in this price category feels embarrassingly cheap. It is not about the $3.50. A bottle of water is hardly going to ruin anyone’s vacation. It is the principle, and especially the way it is presented. There is something distinctly unwelcoming about putting two bottles of water in front of a guest and attaching a sign that essentially says, “free for them, $3.50 for you.” Hospitality should make people feel welcome. There must surely be better ways of recognizing loyal Hilton guests than creating a miniature class system around two bottles of water. Finally, at checkout, the same front desk employee who had checked us in asked how our stay had been. I answered, “Mixed feelings.” I would have thought that was a fairly obvious invitation to ask what had gone wrong. Instead, there was no follow-up question, no “I’m sorry to hear that,” not even the usual courtesy response. The conversation simply ended. Oddly enough, that probably summed up the experience better than anything else. Whistler itself was beautiful as always, and the Hilton has genuinely strong qualities. The spacious room, location and amenities were all very good. But a collection of small, avoidable issues, particularly housekeeping and the rather nickel-and-dime approach to hospitality, kept what could have been an excellent stay from feeling like one.

We had a great stay here! The building itself is older, but it’s very obvious that the hotel has been newly renovated. Everything felt clean and fresh , the room was spacious, the furniture looked brand new, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. One of the highlights for our family was the game room, which was perfect for keeping the kids entertained. The amenities were also excellent, and the customer service was outstanding from check-in to check-out. A huge bonus was the free EV charging, which made our trip even more convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again!

Review hotel We recently stayed at the Century Plaza Hotel in Vancouver and had a great experience. The hotel's location is very convenient, situated right in the downtown Vancouver. It made exploring the city and accessing public transportation very easy. Our room was spacious, big space, clean, and well-appointed with a kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee and tea. The staff at Century Plaza were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with any requests, which enhanced our stay even further. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant C|Prime, which served delicious Italian meals with a good variety of options. Overall, our stay at Century Plaza Hotel was fantastic. We will definitely return on our next trip to the city!

I am writing to formally express my very serious dissatisfaction regarding the condition of my room and the overall standard of service during my stay. To be completely honest, the situation is far below what any reasonable guest would expect from a hotel of this category and price level. There is clearly long-term dust accumulation on the exhaust fan and in multiple corners of the room. This is not a matter of minor housekeeping oversight for a day or two it reflects a prolonged lack of proper maintenance and cleaning standards. Such conditions are unacceptable for a property that presents itself as a luxury establishment. Even more concerning is the foul, rotten odor coming from the sink water. Every time I brush my teeth or wash my hands, the unpleasant smell is immediately noticeable and deeply disturbing. This raises not only comfort issues, but also serious concerns about hygiene and water safety. At this level of accommodation, guests should never have to question the basic quality of the water provided in their room. I strongly believe this matter requires immediate professional inspection. I chose to stay at your hotel and willingly paid a premium rate because I expected a premium experience including cleanliness, attention to detail, and reliable service. Unfortunately, what I have encountered so far reflects a significant gap between the price charged and the quality delivered. In addition, despite leaving a tip for housekeeping and placing a written note clearly requesting replenishment, my shampoo was not refilled. I was eventually forced to go into the corridor to find another staff member for assistance. Cotton swabs were also not replenished for three consecutive days. These are very basic service expectations that should not require repeated reminders from guests. Taken together, these issues have had a substantial negative impact on my stay and overall impression of the hotel. I find this situation extremely disappointing and frankly inconsistent with the reputation and standards your brand claims to uphold. I would appreciate it if management could review this matter seriously and provide a clear and appropriate resolution.

La cabina era più vecchia, ma molto affascinante, abbiamo fatto il più grande del posto in fiamme nella stanza e abbiamo goduto di una vista sul lago dal nostro balcone. Il bagno era pulito con tutto quello che ci serviva. Il caffè era anche fornito nella stanza che era bello. Ho letto i letti erano inconfortabili su altre recensioni e ho parzialmente concordato - non il migliore ma ancora una volta non la ragione principale o la speranza di visitare il lago emerald. Dirò che le mutandine erano estremamente sottili e inconfortabili.  Il personale era molto amichevole e attento. Il servizio di navetta era facile. Il ristorante era prezioso ma in generale buono. Nessun WiFi o segnale nella stanza è qualcosa di cui essere consapevole, ma ha aumentato l'esperienza secondo me. In generale, grande!

Il Grand Park Hotel & Suites è stato un ottimo soggiorno nel centro di Vancouver, dove si trovava un'ottima posizione, con un'ottima accessibilità, che rendeva molto conveniente per viaggiare in grandi attrazioni e nei luoghi vicini. La stanza stessa era molto confortevole, pulita e ben progettata, offrendo uno spazio rilassante per rilassarsi dopo un lungo giorno. Raccomando molto questo hotel a chiunque visiti Vancouver, e certamente rimarrei qui di nuovo

Overall, it is a pleasant hotel for a short stay in downtown. Despite the Karma Lounge currently being under renovation, the hotel arranged a room dining service for breakfast as an alternative, which is acceptable and yummy. The hotel staff are helpful and kind. The location is close to down town, 5 to 10 minute walk to Robson Streetfor shopping, 1 block away has a supermarket and some nice reastieant eg The keg steak house.
