A Beautiful and Peaceful Stay at Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve, Keursee We recently stayed at Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve, Keursee in Plettenberg Bay and had a lovely experience overall. When I booked, I didn’t realize that it was a fully self-catering property. On the booking site, it looked more like a nature resort with restaurants on-site, so it came as a surprise when we arrived and learned that we needed to bring or buy our own food. We ended up driving about 8 km into town to pick up some groceries, which turned into a fun little outing in the end. Still, it might be helpful for management to make this setup clearer on the booking sire for guests, especially those from abroad who might not be familiar with South African Travel habits. We arrived around 5:30 p.m. and were warmly welcomed by the owner, who gave us the keys and explained everything. The unit itself was amazing, very clean, modern, and well maintained, with a stunning view over the sea and Plettenberg Bay in the distance. At night, the lights from town were beautiful, and the whole area was peaceful and quiet. The environment felt safe, and we really enjoyed the fresh air and the sense of being surrounded by nature. One small note: when we arrived, the lady at reception asked my partner (who is Chinese) in Afrikaans if she spoke English or Afrikaans. It wasn’t a big issue, but it might be something to be mindful of when welcoming international guests, as not everyone understands Afrikaans and its not easy to decipher specially for those who do not speak English as a first language A few other suggestions for management: upon entering the unit, there’s a printed rule sheet. While I completely understand and respect the need for house rules, the way they’re written felt a little strict and unwelcoming. For example, it mentioned sanitizing hands every time you enter and reporting neighbors if they break rules, and more. The tone could perhaps be softened to feel friendlier and more guest-oriented. The only other drawback was the Wi-Fi, which was extremely slow during our stay. I wasn’t able to use it for basic browsing and had to rely on my phone’s international data via hotspot when I was using my laptop. Despite these small issues, I would still recommend Alkantmooi to others, especially those who enjoy self-catering and want a quiet, upmarket place surrounded by nature. It’s a wonderful place to unwind, cook your own meals, and enjoy the incredible views over Plettenberg Bay.

Camere spaziose e spaziose, a seconda di cosa si prenota. Altri più bassi non avranno problemi. Anche il design dei lavandini deve essere cambiato o la valutazione del rischio/infortunio deve essere verificata... se non si sta attenti, ci si può tagliare o ferire le dita dei piedi. Ci sono delle ringhiere metalliche che sostengono il lavandino. Ho dovuto usare asciugamani bagnati per coprirli dopo essermi tagliato dolorosamente un'unghia del piede. La lavanderia può essere buona, ma alcune non funzionano. Portate il vostro detersivo per riempire la dose automatica che la lavatrice mette, che non è sufficiente. L'asciugatrice è ottima e veloce. La palestra ha bisogno di essere rinnovata, ma fa il suo lavoro. La jacuzzi esterna è appena tiepida... per niente calda. Ma la vista è incantevole... a parte questo, un posto assolutamente fantastico... Ci tornerò sicuramente.

Great place. Amazing amenities. Wonderful location right opposite Canal Walk. Could do with an AC. Should have a reception at 9 palms, not having to go to the Crystal Towers to collect keys. Wifi password should be given to guests at check in

Ho avuto recentemente il piacere di rimanere a Point Break Luxury Apartments, e ancora una volta, ha superato tutte le mie aspettative. Questa è stata la mia quarta visita, e è chiaro perché continuo a tornare. Dal momento in cui sono arrivato, il personale era eccezionalmente accogliente e caldo. La loro ospitetà ti fa sentire a casa. La proprietà stessa è impeccabilmente pulita, assicurando un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole. Uno degli evidenti è la posizione conveniente. Essere così vicino al V&A Waterfront, solo una breve distanza di Uber, rende esplorare Capo Town un brindisi. Se siete in città per affari o divertimento, questa posizione è ideale. Le viste degli appartamenti non sono meno sensazionali. Svegliarsi fino alla vista della montagna da tavola è un'esperienza che non diventa mai vecchia e aggiunge un fascino unico al soggiorno. The environment was well kept. The location was exceptional, and the amenities are okay. Except for the mandatory R1000 security deposit, which must be paid with a card, Xenia is one place to visit.

The unit is spacious with large balcony for relaxing across the bedroom. The staffs were nice and accomodating. However the noise outside can be heard especially at night.

While the locations and hotel cleanliness and families are good, the room doesn’t come with any AC or Heater. So it was very cold in the room on a winter rainy day. The hotel also took R1,000 as deposit by credit card, and returned upon check out. The issue is, credit card company would charge a fee and also due to different exchange rate on different day, I lost almost R 100 when I check out. The hotel should consider waiving the deposit altogether or taking cash as deposit if deposit is required.

Questo è un ottimo luogo per soggiornare, convenientemente situato vicino al bellissimo fianco idrico. La camera Wi-Fi è buona, le camere sono pulite, spaziose e confortevoli. Una osservazione critica: il doccia nella stanza che ho soggiornato aveva una partizione trasparente, che potrebbe non essere buona per alcuni tipi di viaggiatori - dovrebbe essere almeno trasparente.
