This was my first time staying at Ascott Surabaya, and the experience was not very memorable for me. When I first arrived, the security staff were not proactive in helping unload my luggage from the taxi. Secondly, the lobby layout was not particularly impressive in my opinion. However, the staff were fairly friendly and explained the hotel facilities well. As for the room, it was decent and in good condition. The kitchen equipment was complete, and the microwave, washing machine, and dryer all worked well. The bathroom was clean, although I think it could be redesigned to look more modern. The check-out process went smoothly, but once again the security staff were disappointing. He just stood there without offering any help to load my luggage into the taxi. At that time I was carrying one large suitcase and one small one, so assistance would have been greatly appreciated. That should be part of a security staff’s responsibility, especially for a five-star hotel. For the location, Pakuwon Trade Center (PTC) is located right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to visit Pakuwon Mall, the largest mall in Indonesia. For me, staying here once is enough. For some reason, I didn’t feel any significant comfort, especially for a five-star hotel, and the attitude of the security staff was very disappointing.

My wife and I, had an absolutely wonderful stay at Oakwood Hotel & Residence Surabaya. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. The room was spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean, perfect for a couple’s getaway. We especially loved the cozy ambiance and comfortable bed, which made it hard to leave the room! The facilities were excellent, and having the residence-style amenities made our stay even more convenient and relaxing. The staff truly made the experience memorable. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel valued and well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and elegant, deal for couples looking to unwind. We left with beautiful memories and will definitely return on our next trip to Surabaya. Highly recommended for couples seeking comfort, privacy, and top-notch service. 💛

Hot/cold water dispenser in the apartment 👍🏻 6. Lamp plug wire was exposed 7. Cupboards/shelves were cracked/broken 8. Stained- scissors, towel, stool, sink, bathroom tiles 9. Trail of ants found in the bathroom but service staff came promptly to clean it 10. Kitchen area has a musty smell - maybe due to poor ventilation 11. Bathroom door handle cover was loose 12. Water flow was slow

Hotel nya bersih. Tapi pintu kamar mandinya agak rusak. Sulit di buka. Receptionistnya ramah tapi ga stay 24jam.

1. The bathroom wasn't ready for use; some of the tiles were loose, making it look dirty, including the bathroom floor. 2. When we turned on the faucet, a strong odor came from the drain or water pipe. 3. The blanket was too small, only suitable for one person. 4. The balcony door was difficult to push open; a sliding door would have been recommended to make the small balcony usable, even though it housed the AC unit. Otherwise, the room was good, and the location is highly recommended.

Situato nel centro commerciale di Pakuwon e solo 1 minuto di distanza dal parco di Shanghai (sul luogo di salita in Surabaya) rendere questo edificio di valore ogni penny da prenotare. È facile raccogliere la chiave e depositarla. Hanno cucina se vuoi cucinare. Linen puzza “non buono”, ma non importa perché sono qui solo per una notte. Se hai qualcosa da fare in East Surabaya/Pakuwon, puoi considerare di rimanere qui.

It's surprising very comfortable, big room, good size, with double floor division. The room upstairs is also sound proof, totally couldn't hear the sound from outside once the room is closed

Il controllo in procedura non era efficace e ci ha chiesto di aspettare per diverse ore per un membro del team di venire a controllare noi. L'ufficio ha continuato a mettere il telefono perché non parlavano inglese, ma non avrebbe anche WhatsApp per organizzare il controllo. My evaluation of the overall evaluation is quite good. One thing that might be improved is related to its facilities, such as consistent maintenance in the room and access to the lift before entering the room. For current circumstances, I will give 8.5 out of 10 as a result.
