La palestra è ok, potrebbe essere migliore. Arrivato leggermente in anticipo ma la camera non era pronta. Anche se l'hotel ha cercato di accelerare, ma ero di fretta per un incontro. Pensavo potessero fare di meglio. Ancora di più dopo più di 2 anni di pausa dopo la pandemia.

I stayed at Tentrem Hotel Jakarta in early December and had a generally pleasant experience. The booking process was done through an online travel agency, and I left a note with some requests. Most hotels tend to ignore such notes, but Tentrem exceeded my expectations by actually addressing them. This attention to detail was impressive and set the tone for a good stay. Check-in and Lobby Experience The check-in process was smooth and quick. The lobby is located on the 6th floor, which means you need to take the elevator twice to access the parking area. While not inconvenient, it's something to keep in mind when navigating the hotel. Room Quality The room was spacious, clean, and well-lit, providing a very comfortable atmosphere. My room faced the neighborhood rather than the main street, ensuring a tranquil stay. This hotel could easily serve as a quiet retreat in the bustling city of Jakarta, combining luxury with peace. However, I did notice some noise from the upper floors, such as conversations and the sound of toilet flushing, which could be an issue if the hotel is fully booked. The only downside in the room was the shower. The water pressure was underwhelming and not up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. Dining Experience The dining experience was mixed. Some dishes were excellent, like the Ketoprak, but others fell short. The Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng, which I consider benchmarks for Indonesian-themed hotels, were disappointing. The orange juice was a big letdown as well—sour, bitter, and not the quality you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber. However, the variety of food offered at breakfast was good, though the taste and quality didn’t match the standards of competitors like Kempinski, Westin, or Mulia. Facilities I didn’t get a chance to explore other facilities as I was attending an event nearby. However, I’m looking forward to returning and trying them, especially for activities with my 3-year-old. Conclusion Overall, Tentrem Jakarta offers a luxurious and quiet experience, with some room for improvement in food quality and noise insulation. The staff's attention to detail and the peaceful ambiance make it a worthwhile choice for those looking to escape the city’s hustle. While the breakfast and shower pressure fell short of my expectations, I would definitely consider returning to experience more of the hotel’s offerings.

Hotel building and lobby looked nice enough. Checking in was a breeze. Room hallway looks old and gloomy, reminded me of my dormitory days but with better colours. Bedroom didn't have much space, but was still tolerable. The wallpapers had yellowing/dried leak marks. Washroom was tiny and all the drains (sink & shower) are very slow at draining. And no lock for the washroom. The worst was the lighting, i turned off the lights while sleeping, woken up to a room fully lit with tv on maybe a couple hours later. I thought i might have accidentally pressed a button while sleeping. Turned everything off and went to sleep again, then same thing happened again. In total this happened 3 or 4 times, too tired and sleepy to care. I didn't bother complaining because it happened between the middle of the night to dawn. Even if I did complain the possible solutions would be to send a technician or switch me to a better room, and neither is desirable. I was on a one night business trip with full schedule both days. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options, but the service wasn't so good. When i was showed to my table, the host asked if i wanted coffee or tea, I picked coffee. Went around to take my breakfast, came back to table and coffee wasn't there. Then not long after i started eating, a waiter came by and asked if i wanted coffee or tea, said coffee. 5 minutes later another waiter came by if I wanted coffee or tea..again. Finally got my coffee a good 15mins later, I should've just gotten a cup myself. Asked for sunny side ups, eggs came after i finished my plate, about the same waiting time with coffee and the egg station was empty when I ordered. I'm sorry but I don't think this was a 5-star hotel, and the price wasn't worth it. I believe the problem with light was caused by the room card slot right to turn on the power. Must've gone wrong and failed to detect a card in the slot and shut everything off, then suddenly detected the card again, hence all power and light kept turning back on. Won't be staying there again Hallway picture doesn't look that bad in picture, because my phone decided to make it look nicer by auto-adjusting the light level, much darker in reality

The overall experience is generally okay. The maintenance of the room must be improve ,the faucet of the shower tap dropped off since i checked in on 18/7 Whenever i used the shower,i will drop off when i turn on the tap. I willl just fix it back,i did not inform cleaning staff because if they wash the shower area,they willknow about this problem. I checked out on 22/7 n problem not rectified.

Travelling from overseas is exhausted, sleepy, tired n everything. First of all, big thanks to Mrs Nadya at the reception, she is greetings me with a smile from the moment I'm arrived until the day I am check out, it was top service. I did not mention about want a high level, she knows it already. Coz, normally when I am booked a hotel, definitely I will request the highest floor. I'm booked here at last minute, turn out it was a great experiences. All the staff here is friendly and easy going, food for breakfast also good. Only one thing, ”seated for breakfast”. When I had breakfast, while I am going to take another food, other guest seat there. So I need to move to another table. My phone and room access card still on the breakfast table, how is another guest not seeing it!!? Or they just do not have human sense!? Hello!!!!I am still not finish eat my food! My suggestions, maybe hotel management can provide a small things at the every each table at the Cafe Sirih, which state that ”Occupied/Unoccupied”. So that kind of things will never happened to another hotel guests. Overall, it was a great experiences being here. Definitely will repeat again. Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Center is a new Hotel (Open in June 2024). The hotel is located at Pecenongan, which has a number of legendary eatery such as Bubur Kwan Tung, Lumpia Jakarta and Martabak Pecenongan. The hotel is nice and modern with a touch of luxury. Fun Fact: The Hotel has a number of huge, hugable Teddy Bears all accross the lobby area. When staying at Movenpick Hotels, make sure NOT to miss out on the Signature Chocolate Hour, where they provide complimentary chocolate-themed sweets for the staying guests. The room at Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Center is modern and has a warm tone. The hotel is environmentaly friendly. The Hotel Room Key is made out of wood material (instead of plastic). Moreover, the Toothpaste is stored in tiny paper bag (instead of plastic tube). Breakfast Breakfast at Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Center is VERY SPECIAL. It has HUGE selection of Indonesian Culinary, Indonesian Delicacies, mouthwatering Desserts as well as Asian, and Western options. You won't believe how extensive the breakfast speread is... The hotel was very nice, the breakfast was amazing. The room was big, very comfortable. The only thing is that every time that I called a grab, I have to pay to the driver, because he had to pay to enter the hotel pick up location.

I booked the corner room for my stay, it has a killer view and the room design helped me to fully enjoy the view from different angles and I could watch the sunset. For the current price, the facilities have room for improvements, for instance the TV is still quite old and has limited channels, it would be perfect to give smart TV or maybe add more channels. It would also be great to install a rain shower for every room in addition to the existing shower now.
