Hotel a 2 stelle in Otago, Nuova Zelanda

It’s a huge hostel in the prime part of queenstown so it’s a mixed bag on who you’ll be sharing a room with. There isn’t really anywhere to put your things in the room and need your own lock for the small safety cabinets, and sharing 2-4 outlets with everyone in the room, but it’s clean and the bed is fine.

Unlike Haka House in Queenstown which has free coffee and tea, this hostel doesn’t have any. It is only $3 though. But the space in the rooms were bigger than then one in the city center. Big kitchen area, and bigger lounge.  You can borrow a cord for your charger. Negative feedback: this is infront of the lake and my room was facing the lake  and so i can hear  the sound of the cars passing by, the noise from the people walking in the road if they were too loud. It’s not something very distracting.  Second one: the “clean towels” use to dry the utensils are looking dirty even if they were freshly washed because of the stains and probably because it’s old and has been used a lot. Also, they don’t put unlimited supplies of the towels to dry, I saw the lady putting only 3 towels unlike in Haka house queenstown and the haka house in mt cook where they put unlimited supplies of clean towels and they look clean and presentable. I didn’t even use those towels to dry the utensils/cutleries I just air dry them to the side. The sponge also looks old and worn out..it would be nice if they are replaced at least every 10-15 days.

Un'ottima posizione e un meccanismo di sicurezza per bloccare i codici PIN sulle principali voci sono utili. Proprio vicino alla stazione di pick-up di Intercity, che mi affido per tutto il viaggio in NZ. Non c'è quindi alcuna preoccupazione per portare il mio grosso bagaglio e la mano. Ho soggiornato in 6 camere da letto. Le camere sono più grandi e ci sono un enorme deposito per ogni residente. Sono disponibili anche serbatoi e magazzinaggio fuori dal basso se avete bisogno di più spazio. È inoltre fornito un asciugamano. Molto tranquillo a notte, quindi può dormire bene. La cucina è enorme e trovo ancora spazio per mettere le mie fabbriche dentro il frigo e fuori il cubico. Tornero'a stare per qualche notte quando torno a Queenstown.

E' molto buono.

L'hotel è situato vicino al centro della città, pochi minuti a piedi può raggiungere l'ottago e si trova vicino alla stazione ferroviaria. Molto buona posizione. L'hotel è stato costruito intorno al 1875 se non sbagliato, quindi la stanza è molto vintage e vecchio. La maggior parte delle strutture in camera sembra vecchia, soprattutto il bagno sembra sporco e lo spazio è molto piccolo.

La stanza è insensibile, con pochi minuti a piedi per la maggior parte dei punti di incontro. L'unico punto di svantaggio è che la cucina è piccola e molto piena durante il pasto, e la ventilazione per la cucina non è un po' sufficiente.

A very old motel. The place needs some upgrading especially the taps in the kitchen basin as both the cold and hot water taps are separated. So you will not get warm water through the taps and the two taps are located at about 10 cm apart. Finds it difficult to use the two taps as the water is either too cold to wash the dishes using the cold water tap or too hot if you use the hot water tap.

Feel so comfy to stay at here, loved the room decorations and especially the massage chair in public area, that was heaven after a long drive!! They even got a bidet in the bathroom hahahaha

Great arrangement for after hours check in. Lots of parking spaces.
