UUnyoung GleasonL'ospite era molto utile e personale. È venuta a trovarci quando non siamo riusciti a trovare la posizione, nonostante arrivassimo in ritardo. Ci ha dato consigli locali di ristorante secondo quello che volevamo mangiare. Abbiamo prenotato tramite un servizio di prenotazione online che ci ha accidentalmente prelevato un tasso di vacanza più alto, e l'ospite ci ha informato dell'errore e ha aggiornato la nostra stanza in base al prezzo che abbiamo pagato. L'onestà è stata apprezzata, perché non avevamo idea di ciò, era molto pacifica e aveva un'atmosfera tranquilla. L'ospite ha scritto un documento che spiega il check out, il wifi, il colazione e qualsiasi altra informazione importante per noi in inglese quando pensava che non potremmo comunicare con lei in coreano (podevamo comunque ahaha) L'unica cosa che ci interessa è che il check out è in un momento prima delle 10:00. Non è stato un problema per noi, come l'ospite ha permesso di lasciare il nostro bagaglio e iniziare a esplorare il Hanok Maeul asap. :) un soggiorno generale meraviglioso e vorremmo rimanere più a lungo. TtotoroI’ve been to many countries and stayed in various accommodations—hotels, guesthouses, and Airbnbs—but this experience was truly romantic. I stayed in a hanok (a traditional Korean-style house), and when I woke up in the morning, it was raining. I could hear the sound of raindrops gently falling to the ground, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere. That’s one of the most charming and unique aspects of staying in a hanok—it’s something you don’t experience in ordinary hotels.
Also, I’m very sensitive when it comes to cleanliness—I can be quite picky—but this place was spotless and extremely well-kept.
Lastly, the space was filled with green plants, which added to the freshness. I could smell the natural scent of greenery, feel the peaceful mood, and truly enjoy the presence of nature all around me.

MMinStaying at this traditional Korean thatched-roof house (chogajip) in Jeonju was such a special and unforgettable experience!
I booked this place for my friend visiting from the U.S. to give her a unique taste of Korean culture—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was great, the room was clean and cozy, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful :)
After booking, I recommend contacting the host in advance to let them know your estimated arrival time—it really helps with check-in. For international guests, it may be a bit difficult to communicate, so having someone help with the message is a good idea!
If you’re visiting Korea, don’t miss the chance to stay in a beautiful chogajip and experience a piece of traditional life. Highly recommended! ❤️

CChun YangWe can walk down short flight of stairs to the house from the main road but don't get any traffic noise. Location was within the Hanok Village area making it easy to explore. The place was kind of old, the room we had was very small. The double futon mattress on the floor took a large chunk of the space, without folding the mattress there wasn't much space to sit around. Maybe that's how it is supposed to work. There was a aircon (not plugged in), another looks like aircon (doesn't work) and a look like heater was stowed away, we don't know whether they were mend to be used. Anyway that did not bothered us much. Wi-fi was available in the room. We only met the lady in-charge on check-in and thereafter on our own. Overall a doable stay, a place to rest and sleep.

AAlessandraHost's were really friendly and supportive.
Room has floor heating and due to that room got really hot. Shower is really good. We had an issue with the bedding where we complained to the host and he looked into it wanting to give you another room but we stayed in that room as it was only for two nights.
More towels have been also provided after requesting them and a welcome bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and a few other toiletries were in that bag.
Water bottles as much you ask for and even at the checkout the host lady gave us each 2 bottles of water to take with us which was really appreciated and a rare first gesture I experienced.

RrobwardlePersonale cordiale e check-in veloce. La camera era pulita e confortevole, ci sono voluti alcuni minuti perché la doccia si scaldasse, ma la pressione dell'acqua era buona. Ottima posizione per la stazione ferroviaria, a meno di 5 minuti a piedi, e due minimarket a due passi. Lo consiglio a chi viaggia da solo.

WWuMi piace davvero il loro servizio e quanto sono gentili! Il signor Choi mi aspettava fuori alle 3:00 quando sono arrivato a Uber. Mi ha presentato con passione alle attrazioni vicine e mi ha consigliato di mangiare. Egli era lì quando tornai al posto di notte e anche al mattino quando me ne andrò, ti farà sapere quando sarà via solo se vuoi cercarlo. Ha sempre chiesto se la stanza fosse troppo fredda, per farti sentire calda nelle notti fredde invernali.
Realmente consiglia soprattutto quando tutto è a piedi lontano e il proprietario è davvero bello ☺️

HHoangDinhthe hotel located near the Jeonju station, which quite convenient to reach. It take about 15 minutes drive to get to the hanok village, thus the price issue pretty cheap compared to those near the village. In the room I booked, it very spacious, full equipped with modern TV, air conditioner, Clothes Dry and cleaning, PC, heated blanket… , the room is clean, however, one drawback is that the bathtub is old, and even there some dust in it. For the price of 60000 KRW, I think it worth, but I also hope the hotel would make some upgrades in the bathroom, especially the bathtub.

AAngelineGreat Hanok to stay for our short trip. Owners were great and even upgraded our room to bigger room without us requesting for it. Very clean and cozy place with heated floor. Owner allowed us to leave our luggage at their place for later collection so we could roam around for more yummy food and shopping with the hassle of carrying them around. Hanok is at the heart of the main tourist area. A lot of food options and cafe within minutes out of the Hanok. Great experience and thank you for the wonderful hospitality!!! 🥰🥰😍😍👏👏👏
