Hotel a 3 stelle in Kansas, Stati Uniti d'America

I would highly recommend TownPlace Suites Lawrence. We booked here before and did not hesitate to book here again. After parking in the underground, protected inside parking garage, we were greeted by a friendly and accommodating front desk employee (BTW...they all are). Our two bedroom suite came as advertised: clean, comfortable and quiet. The location of the hotel is prime, just one block off Massachusetts Street and within easy walking distance to several restaurants and shops. The morning continental breakfast is generous and well managed, making it unnecessary to go elsewhere. I would say the location, comfort, parking, breakfast and friendly staff make this hotel worth the booking. A special shout out to two employees for their help and general good nature in making this a pleasurable experience. Beth, the early morning breakfast manager, was super. She set things up earlier than scheduled, trying her best to provide for those early risers (like me) and for those on an early schedule. Her attentiveness and general conversation were much appreciated. Eli came to the rescue when a heater unit was not working as it should. After maintenance could not solve the problem (more on that later), Eli volunteered to research the operating manual and came up with a troubleshooting guide. He and I proceeded to the room where he dove into the controls of the heater unit with guidance from the manual and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. I was relieved and thankful he was able to do that. I thanked both employees for helping all of us to better overnight experiences, and they should be recognized for that. In addition, the fitness center and pool looked well maintained and inviting, but I didn't use either. There's always room for improvement, so here are my suggestions: - When I booked the room last October, I was told the parking garage door was under repair, had to be kept open but certainly would be fixed by January. It wasn't. Not a huge deal, but it does remove the security feature of a closed door and when working helps to keep inclement weather out. We were comfortable parking our car there, but this should be addressed. - Maintenance should consult with Eli on how to fix maintenance issues. I reported a heater problem Friday morning, the front desk employee took copious notes and said she would advise maintenance. Late in the day, the maintenance guy was leaving and when asked about our room , he said ”What about it?” Obviously didn't get the word. He checked it out but the heater was not fixed and when I asked that night, the front desk told me maintenance said that's how they work and nothing can be done. Enter Eli to show maintenance how it's correctable when using proper maintenance techniques. - The lobby furnishings look tired and need to be replaced. I understand work is in progress to do this. The carpets are also in need of replacement in certain areas. - The room 225 showerhead also needs to be replaced. It has three spray options, none of which are pleasurable. That's about it! Sono rimasto qui per due notti durante la settimana di World Cup e ho pagato circa $366. Purtroppo, non mi sembra che il soggiorno sia stato il prezzo. Quando siamo arrivati, le carte chiave della stanza non funzionavano, quindi il personale dell’hotel doveva scortarci in alto e lasciarci entrare manualmente dopo aver portato tutto il bagaglio. Gli ascensori erano anche difettosi, e ogni volta che abbiamo bisogno di usarli, abbiamo dovuto chiamare il desktop, in modo che un dipendente possa operarlo a distanza. Il fatto che sia il sistema di carte chiave sia gli ascensori non funzionino correttamente è un grave sconvolgimento, soprattutto per un hotel che paga le tariffe premiali durante un evento occupato. Mi deluso di più il modo in cui mi sono affrontato le preoccupazioni, e mi chiedo se l'hotel prendesse in considerazione una forma di compensazione per le notevoli inconvenienti. Invece di mostrare una certa empatia o offrire una soluzione, mi è stato detto che se volessi i miei soldi, potrei andarmene. Come qualcuno che aveva guidato 16 ore fuori città, non era una scelta realistica. Poi ho contattato Trip.com per esprimere le mie preoccupazioni, e l'esperienza generale mi ha lasciato sentire che il servizio clienti non era disponibile quando gli ospiti sollevavano questioni legittime. La stanza stessa era accettabile, ma la combinazione del sistema di carte chiave rotto, ascensori non affidabili e servizio di servizio al cliente dismissibile ha reso questo un soggiorno deludente.

Un posto così bello per stare. Mi piaceva anche la posizione. Ci siamo fermati nella stanza Maya. Mi piaceva tutto. Se potessi cambiarla, sarebbe stato un po' più spazio nelle stanze. Abbiamo scoperto che ballavamo in giro e che non potevamo muoverci per trovare il bagaglio, quindi quella parte mi ha lasciato un po' di spaziatura per mancanza di spazio in questo senso, altrimenti non ho assolutamente nessuna denuncia. Era molto pulito e il letto e la cottura erano come dormire sulle nuvole. Lo amava molto. Era così confortevole e confortevole. Mi piaceva come portavano il tuo servizio in camera con la colazione che era bello. Il soggiorno si sentiva romantico e in generale abbiamo avuto un bel tempo e io sarei sicuramente rimasto. Certo che torneremo per un altro anniversario. Eravamo qui per celebrare il nostro 25 anniversario e era perfetto! Il personale è accogliente e amichevole e il castello è stupendo. Raccomando molto agli altri che stanno cercando una stanza divertente con un jacuzzi anche. Molti canali TV offrono anche. Grazie per tutto!

L'hotel era pulito e il personale era amichevole. Tuttavia, non c'era altro che ghiaccio per quanto riguarda le attrezzature. La stazione di snack era lì, ma non c'era niente da comprare. Non c'erano macchine da vendere. Il colazione incluso è stato un paio di muffin preconfezionati e bar di nutrice, caffè e succo.   Ho messo le foto della stanza. Le porte erano completamente rotte. La porta non si apriva o chiuse. Il sedile del bagno era rotto, il ventilatore di scarico era legato dal tetto del bagno, e il rilevatore di fumo era legato dai fili. Il doccia non si spegnerebbe se si cercasse di fare un bagno, e il piatto non ha funzionato per tenere l'acqua nel tubo quando si cercava di fare un bagno. La maggior parte di queste questioni sono articoli di manutenzione di routine. Per $87.14, almeno non mi piacerebbe una stanza alberghiera ben mantenuta. Necessità di riparare impianti.

Location is really solid, with some decent dining across the street. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly and professional, but I got a weird vibe from them. Not sure what that was about. Thiis hotel chain definitely cuts costs when it comes to things like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and other room amenities. That all felt super cheap. Breakfast was acceptable. Not a lot of options. Waffles were good, eggs were passable, sausage was standard. I'd not want to eat it for more than two days in a row, but it hit the spot for what it was. Wouldn't avoid in the future, but certainly not memorable.

The queen bed was pretty comfortable, clean sheets, however the lighting was average and the bathroom smelled like smoke in a non smoking room. The floor was uneven on the first floor not great carpet and a little dated. I only stayed one night so it was okay.. Tv, microwave and refrigerator were decent.  I didn't have the breakfast, but it did smell good. Location was close to K State,  however the surroundings were old rundown buildings and vacant storage. Lighting outside was bright at night so that was good. Overall average stay. Front desk staff were nice but check in did take a while.

Noi amiamo le Suite dell'ambasciata di Hilton! Il numero 1 per la sua sicurezza e la sua pulizia! Ci siamo fermati lì per 6 notti, e ci sentiva come a casa. Hanno un frigo, microonde, caffè, TV nella camera da letto e soggiorno, e la barca che abbiamo chiesto per il bambino! Più punti per il lavandino al secondo piano! Il loro colazione è grande, ma, sai, sei giorni con lo stesso colazione? Vorrei dormire. LOL! Seriamente, ci piace quanto è accogliente la nostra stanza!

Abbiamo avuto un buon soggiorno - parte di un gruppo di nozze e dozzine di membri della famiglia che si trovavano in questo hotel. Il personale è stato molto amichevole e abbondante ...specialmente importante al mattino durante il colazione! Il cibo era buono e hanno fatto un buon lavoro per mantenere le cose piene e calde.La mia unica denuncia era che la nostra camera reale era molto piccola e il pannello del letto era contro il muro condiviso con il bagno ...so ”rumore” erano un problema di mattina.

Very nice stay in the heart of Old Town. I lived in Wichita for 6 years when I was stationed at McConnell but this is my first time staying here. Very nice staff, Lester checked me in and Alejandra was a cool bartender to talk to. Room was nice, hotel is beautiful. My only small complaint is that the bathroom was already empty but I just used the handsoap instead. Price wasn't to terrible for the location. 8.5/10
