AAround&AboutWe stayed 3 nights in a private room at Rock Solid. The first room we got assigned was just below the lounge area and given the walls are so thin it really seemed like a group of people was in our room. The manager was very nice and moved us into a different room- walls still thin but at least in a different location vs the first room. The common areas are big and clean + you get 50% discount on the climbing wall gym which we used!

UUtente ospiteIl cosiddetto colazione è troppo spesso, due pezzi di pane, due pezzi di yogurt, una bottiglia di 200 ml di latte, diversi succo di frutta, e lo metto nella stanza il giorno in cui si occupa del soggiorno.La chiave è il yogurt e il latte non hanno messo frigo.Il cosiddetto motel caldo, è due piscine di pacchetti negli anni settanta della Cina.

UUtente ospiteThere is the main road running across the campsite. So we had to cross the road every time we wanted to access the facilities and amenities.
Nice view and beach access with river stream in the site. Good for morning walks. Facilities were clean and plentiful.
Camper sites were close to one another and are accessed only by a narrow road. It could pose a problem when more than 1 vehicle is moving in and out. To make situation worse, the waste dump point is along this road and vehicles need to wait for it to be vacant before accessing the other side.

UUtente ospiteReally nice hotel room! It looked recently renovated, with plush carpet and towels and a very comfortable bed. It's located close to a lot of shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Maybe a 20-30 min drive to Mt. Maunganui and the beach next to the mount. The front desk staff was really kind and helpful with our late check-in, especially because we had terrible cell connectivity and couldn't seem to hear each other on the phone. Would definitely stay here again!!

UUtente ospiteThe hotel was in a good location. Very near to some cafe and ample parking spaces. But unfortunately there was no electricity on our second day due to construction works nearby. To be specific: there was No Electricity from 8-9am until 1-2pm and then resumed normal. We had to finish all the food we bought from supermarket immediately otherwise food would turn bad.
There was a carnival or something nearby and there was fireworks.

We Travelled with our 96yr old Mother & we were given a very roomy unit with a disability shower & chair which was really appreciated.
The beds were comfortable with beautiful crisp white sheets.
There was everything that you could have wanted & will definitely be making it our go to Motel as we travel to Tauranga often to visit family.

Bbusy teachinThe place was unexpectedly nice. Room was clean and there were some nice touches - a wee bottle of full cream milk with a nice creamy top, a bottle of water chilling in the fridge. Check in was effortless. The shower was a little weak but overall I'm really glad I stayed here. New world supermarket across the road and a world class steak restaurant around the corner
