Hotel a 3 stelle in Penang, Malesia

La posizione di questo hotel è superba. Si trova vicino alle principali attrazioni come il Museo Peranakan, il centro commerciale First Avenue e anche alla stazione degli autobus di Komtar, ideale per chi viaggia con un budget limitato. La pulizia è impeccabile e tutto sembra nuovo. La colazione era semplice, con Char Kueh Tiao o char mee con salsa gravy dolce serviti ogni giorno. Ma per questo prezzo, non ho nulla da ridire. Tornerò sicuramente in futuro.

Questo hotel è circondato da numerose bancarelle di cibo durante il giorno. A pochi passi dal tempio Kek Lok Si e dalla funivia di Penang Hill. Hotel pulito, con parcheggio disponibile. L'unico neo di questo hotel è lo shampoo fornito per la doccia. Solo due piccole bottiglie. La foto mostra la vista dalla mia camera d'albergo.

Questa è la mia seconda volta che sono qui, e continua a fornire un'esperienza costantemente comoda. La stanza è pulita, ben mantenuta e progettata in uno stile semplice e funzionale che si sente simile a un concetto ibis pratico e facile da risolvere. L'accento è certamente il letto, è morbido e molto confortevole, e anche i letti singoli sono generosamente dimensioni. Le lastre sono come il cotone, e l'hotel offre due tipi di cuscinetti, una soft e una media azienda, che rende facile ottenere un buon sonno. Il bagno è pulito con una separazione adeguata e bagnata, e avere un frigo nella stanza è un piacevole conforto aggiuntivo. La posizione è un altro punto forte. I just stayed for one night. Which was enough for me. Be aware this is not part of the official Rainbow Resort Hotel. Upon seeing my confirmation, the receptionist told me my room was an Airbnb. The building is a hotel as well private rooms that are rented out. The room itself was very spacious, 70 sqm with one bedroom and a living space. It had obviously been repainted recently (it smelt a fresh paint) so the walls were clean. Air conditioning and basic amenities were provided. The building itself, has seen a lot of wear and tear. If you’re on a budget and want a spacious room it will meet your needs. For the price I think it’s quite reasonable if you’re there for a short stay. The hotel is next to a beach, and a swimming pool downstairs. There a few restaurants across the road.

The picture in online is quite nice, but the actual staying is quite shocking 😅 When we first enter the lobby, we are impressed, cos for an old shop lot, the lobby is giving a good impression with it's bright lighting and cleanliness. Then we faced several difficulties that we need to highlight for all visitors who wish to book this hotel (for the owner also, I hope you see my review and make some improvement that will definitely increase your customers and rebooking) 1. We changed room for three times. The [first room No. 29] is with a big hole/maintenance door in bathroom ceiling that exposed all the electrical wire which may caused danger to life. Some more got a line of ants all around the room ceiling and floor. The [second room No. 32] is quite nice, bright and comfortable but the water heater is not working with no hot water and the water pressure is so small. Then finally we changed to a good one. 2. The price we paid is for room with window, but I rather don't want cos it doesn't play any purpose except as a decoration, at the same time without curtain! (All the rooms we changed are without curtains) So anyone can look into our room when we have the lights on 😅 3. Super helpful front desk. The owner should reward the Sabahan lady who helps us to change room. She walks up and down to get us a comfortable room. We really appreciate it a lot 🙏🏻🥰 If not, I'll leave a really really bad review here cos we are really tire with all the hassles 😒 4. For those who like to stay upstairs (first/second floor), there's no lift, so you will need to climb stairs. Bringing elderly or OKU, can only stay at ground floor. 5. All the rooms we been to has a common issue -- it's not basic clean 😅 The toilet has urine stain, the bedsheet has 2-3 hairs on it, and the table and teacup are definitely not for use one (I don't dare to use 🤣) 6. The last room we stay has flies and we smashed them onto wall cos we're too tire to wait and change a new room aldy. At least we finally get a room with hot bath water. 7. Soundproof is not good. In the room, we can hear the sound of people talking and passing the hall, and the car honking. For us is ok, cos we are deep sleeper, but for those who are sensitive, I don't think you will get a good sleep here 🤣 Overall, the good things of this hotel: 1. It's budget, so ok lah 2. The front desk is helpful and responsive 3. The overall amenities still ok (available: free filter water, TV with wifi, mirror in bathroom, water heater; NOT available: no toilet tissue, no hangers but it has hanging rack) So conclusion is, if you're just need a place to bath and sleep, then may consider here. In my opinion, it will not be a good place for 'enjoy hotel time'. So it makes sense for the price paid. Thank you for attending to us.

Un soggiorno comodo e confortevole vicino all'aeroporto Il RAIA Hotel Penang è un'ottima scelta per i viaggiatori che cercano un soggiorno comodo e confortevole, soprattutto se hanno bisogno di essere vicino all'aeroporto. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite e il personale è cordiale e disponibile. L'hotel offre un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, con servizi come una bella piscina e una buona colazione con una varietà di opzioni. Nel complesso, è una scelta solida sia per i viaggiatori d'affari che per i turisti.

Nice hotel in Chulia street, near to a few bars and restaurants, nice night scene. The room was very spacious, there was a window but don't expect much as it's facing the alleyway. Plenty of parking for hotel guests. I'd return

First time at this hotel there and we were very satisfied stayed there. Hotel is very clean, strategic location, the room is spacious. At the lobby the hotel will offer coffee for customer. Amenities is complete and what I like so much is hotel provide water dispenser and pitcher. We could drink freely, also we could fill our own tumbler if we want go outside. Many hotels now provide that. Small thing but really meant for us as tourist. Also there is a pantry in the room we stayed. Hotel is very near (maybe 50-100 meter only) from Pasar Lebuh Cecil, many food stall there. I recommend Lum Lay Duck Meat Koay Teow Th'ng. In front of the hotel also restaurant (Fan Table) and bakery shop (Roti Lah). Beside is convenience store Bila Bila.

Hotel decente con interni gradevoli, ma gestione scadente Abbiamo prenotato una camera doppia e ci siamo rimasti per due notti. Sebbene gli interni e la posizione fossero discreti per un hotel a 3 stelle, l'esperienza è stata complessivamente deludente a causa del servizio e della gestione scadenti. Innanzitutto, la reception ci ha fornito solo una tessera per la nostra camera. Anche dopo aver spiegato che saremmo usciti separatamente, hanno affermato di essere a corto di tessere e di aver dovuto conservarle per gli ospiti in arrivo. Ho soggiornato in innumerevoli hotel nel corso degli anni e non mi sono mai trovato in una situazione del genere. Un amico che ha soggiornato qui anni fa ha avuto lo stesso problema, quindi è chiaro che la situazione persiste da anni. Le tessere non sono costose o speciali: l'hotel ha solo circa 50 camere, quindi non ci sono scuse per non averne abbastanza. A peggiorare le cose, fanno pagare RM50 per ogni tessera smarrita! La nostra camera doppia aveva due letti singoli super, che potrebbero risultare angusti per gli ospiti più grandi, quindi è un aspetto da tenere a mente. Un altro problema era la porta della camera, che non si chiude automaticamente. Bisogna tirarla e controllarla manualmente per assicurarsi che sia sicura, cosa che non ci si aspetterebbe da un hotel moderno. La nostra prima mattina, il personale delle pulizie ha bussato e suonato il campanello alle 10:00 chiedendo di pulire la camera. Certo, ci siamo dimenticati di appendere il cartello ”Non disturbare”, ma le 10:00 sembrano troppo presto. Di solito le pulizie non sono programmate dopo mezzogiorno? Non vale la pena pagare un extra per la colazione. Il cibo non era appetitoso e il caffè era pessimo, quindi abbiamo saltato completamente la colazione il secondo giorno. Ciò che ci ha scioccato di più è stato tornare in camera e trovarla completamente aperta dopo le pulizie, perché non l'avevano chiusa completamente. Per fortuna non mancava nulla, ma a quel punto eravamo troppo esausti per sollevare il problema, soprattutto perché il personale della reception si era già mostrato riluttante ad aiutarci. Non potevano fornirci una tessera magnetica aggiuntiva, eppure in qualche modo non si sono fatti problemi a lasciare la nostra camera senza sicurezza. È una grave mancanza sia nella sicurezza che nell'assistenza di base agli ospiti. In sintesi: nonostante gli interni gradevoli e la posizione favorevole, la gestione è decisamente carente. Per essere una struttura a tre stelle, il servizio sembra più quello di una a una stella. Con opzioni migliori disponibili a Georgetown, consiglierei di soggiornare altrove per un'esperienza più affidabile e curata.
