Hotel a 3 stelle in Dorset, Regno Unito

I was here for the first time a month ago. I enjoyed my stay here so I came back a month later. I booked for a single room but when I arrived the hotel upgraded it to a double room. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful. I enjoyed using the shower. It was a good shower with the right amount of pressure. I used this hotel to visit the beach. It is a short walk to the beach and is in a good location. The staff are very nice.

Il posto poteva essere fatto con un colpo di pittura e mi sembrava strano che la mia stanza fosse pulita/riempita un giorno e non l'altro, ma il personale era gentile e felice di partecipare alle richieste. La stanza è confortevole per poche notti e l'hotel si trova a pochi passi dalla strada alta e dalla spiaggia.

The hotel is undergoing refurbishment. We had a family room which was beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. We used the pool which is quite dated and small for the size of hotel but a nice bonus. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We will definitely will be back again. The hotel has a lot of families staying there, would be nice to do a early evening disco/ something for the children to make use of the empty bar area

We recently stayed here as a family of four and found the superior room much smaller than expected. It felt quite cramped for a family, and the bathroom was also very small. The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. The regular price is around £230 per night, which I don't think is good value. I booked it on a deal for £170, but even at that price, it still felt overpriced. Another disappointment was the air conditioning. Even when set to the lowest temperature (16°C), the room never became properly cold. On top of that, we were constantly disturbed by heavy footsteps from the room above, waking us up every couple of hours around 12am, 2am, 4am, and 6am, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. No fridge at the same time which other hotels cheaper have. We also had an issue with the toilet, which wouldn’t flush throughout our stay. This was a major inconvenience and should have been fixed promptly. On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The swimming pool was also clean and well maintained. Overall, while the service and pool were good, the small room, tiny bathroom, ineffective air conditioning, noise issues, and high price made the stay disappointing.

Doppia vista sul mare con balcone. Camera da letto spaziosa con bel posto a sedere. Pulizia e in buona ordine decorativo. Camera confortevole, legno di qualità. Bella finestra originale in metallo e porta francese aperta su un vasto balcone. Purtroppo, la vista del mare sembrava essere quando guardava a sinistra dalla fine del balcone e non dalla camera da letto. Bagno ben progettato, pulizie belle e i bagni Elemis di qualità, ma potrebbe beneficiare di una pulizia profonda e un lick di pittura. Spazi pubblici assolutamente favolosi, non «date», come suggeriscono alcune recensioni, ma mobili e attrezzature adeguatamente in linea con lo stile e il periodo dell'edificio. Piscina esterna e spa indoor. Molte aree di seggiolino esterno. Piazza forestale estensiva dietro l'hotel. Solo pochi minuti a piedi a Knoll Beach, attraverso i vasti luoghi dell'hotel (compresi i corti da tennis e un campo da golf) proprio lungo la strada. Non ci sono informazioni su nessuno di questi splendidi servizi, o in realtà nulla, nella nostra camera da letto. Inoltre, nessuna informazione su Wi-Fi, nessuna informazione sulle ore del colazione, nessuna informazione su come contattare anche la ricezione telefonica fornita in camera ... The food at the evening meal was exceptional but was left down by the very slow service as staff focused on setting tables for the next day’s breakfast - which turned out to be so disappointing that it was hard to believe that both meals had originated dalla stessa cucina.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location is perfect — close to everything I needed, with easy access to public transport and local attractions. The room was spotless, and the entire hotel was very well maintained, which made my stay feel even more comfortable. What really stood out was the staff — everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Reception and Breakfast staff very helpful. As others say it does strike a good match between value and price. Room and bathroom v. clean. Rooms are actor/celebrity themed with a few pics of the star in question on the walls (clue is in the name). Breakfast is a buffet arrangement and fine. Probably, as we stayed over the weekend, it was a bit noisy with groups returning to the hotel at night but this had been advised when booking and it is Bournemouth. Location great for getting onto the beach and is near the eastern end of the town centre. About 10 mins walk from train station. A  small Asda is located nearby as part of gas station for basics.  

Il nostro hotel era bellissimo, senza spot, e aveva un'atmosfera così tranquilla e rilassante – perfetta per una pausa romantica. Il personale era caldo e accogliente, e la posizione era ideale, solo una passeggiata a tutto quello che avevamo bisogno. Da la bella stanza al delizioso colazione, tutto ha fatto sentire la nostra permanenza davvero speciale. Abbiamo decisamente amato tornare!

La struttura è molto buona, facile bus al centro, ma anche la spiaggia è molto meno congestionata a soli 5 minuti a piedi. Non abbiamo avuto una vista 😅 Ma non credo che tu stia venendo a sederti in camera. Anche un personale molto carino e amichevole!!!

Sì “Un meraviglioso soggiorno nel cuore di Lyme Regis” suona un po' come una copia promozionale. Ho aperto più naturalmente dalla vostra esperienza reale: Il mio soggiorno nel Royal Lion mi ha fatto piacere. La posizione non avrebbe potuto essere migliore, con la fronte marina a pochi passi e affascinanti libri e negozi poco fuori dalla finestra. La stanza era molto pulita, confortevole e bellamente decorata con un tema sul mare, che si adattava perfettamente a Lyme Regis. Svegliarsi fino al suono dei marinai al mattino ha reso il soggiorno ancora più speciale e romantico. L’accento era certamente il colazione, c’era un buffet e una scelta di piatti di prima qualità, e tutto quello che ho provato era delizioso. La camera da colazione stessa era assolutamente bella e piena di carattere, facendo ogni mattina sentirsi come parte dell'esperienza piuttosto che come un pasto. Il personale era caldo, amichevole e benvenuto per tutta la mia permanenza, e la loro ospite mi faceva sentire molto comodo. La posizione è grande, l'atmosfera è bella, la camera è confortevole, l'ospitalità è meravigliosa e un buon colazione.
