Nice & clean. Room wall is a bit thin but no concern to me because I always sleep with ear plugs. Although surrounded by many entertaining establishments, the hotel runs truly decent business. A bit distant from the train station & food street but not too far, accessible via public bus.

I wanted to test the famous mud springs. This hotel reportedly has one of the best spas. Tips: - I decided to stay overnight in the hotel (2 spa entry tickets with a double room + bfast for $2800) instead of using a day ticket to the spa (400$). The village is far from the city, so staying overnight may cost slightly more than a cheap city hotel, but you're not in a rush and looking for buses etc. - Each spa ticket is basically 2x tickets (1 for the normal spa, and 1 for the naked single-sex spa), so if there are 2 of you, you could go to the naked spa one day and the main spa the next. - The spa has about 15 different hot spring pools, of different temperatures + ingredients, some clear and some ”mud”. There's also mud facials and fish-cleaning for your feet. The electric pools send electric shocks through your body too. There's a swimming pool. - They speak English (basic but enough). - You need a swimming hat and a towel. I took mine but the spa front desk also offered them to borrow. - Plan on spending 3 hours. I'm not a spa lover, but even i found myself taking long. - I went in May and the weather is not at all hot at that height. - Most ********* take their instant noodles in, so that they can eat inside and stay all day. - The hotel is quite beautiful, made from wood (on the face of it). It's got lovely seating areas and they put nice fairy lights everywhere at night. - The hotel room is comparatively expensive for Taiwan at $2800 for 3* (minus the 2x spa tickets of $400 each), but the cheapest ”no window” room (it has 2 windows, but no view) is big and has 2 large concrete baths in (1 for hot mud water + 1 for cold water to dip in and out). Therefore, given that it is a beautiful location too, I do think it's very reasonable. - The breakfast is mostly chinese but there's some western bits. It's standard for 3* but the location of the eating area has beautiful views of the jungle. - It's a 15 minute nice walk to lots of restaurants and a convenience shop.

The room is nice... Has a small fridge.. the room is clean.. free mineral water, coffee and tea... Internet wifi is fast.. This hotel only has 1 iron.. and you need to put 500twd as deposit to borrow from the front desk... Eventually I have no chance,coz 1 customer has it and I am wondering why they don't know who borrows the iron if they put a deposit and they don't know the room. Close to the main station...only 300m by walk.

Un struttura strategicamente posizionata nello storico quartiere di Ximending, adoro girare a piedi le città che visito, la posizione per me era perfetta, ho raggiunto con facilità le maggiori attrazioni della città. L’albergo andrebbe ristrutturato, ho lamentato dei disservizi nella stanza che mi avevano dato all’arrivo ma devo dire che mi è stata tempestivamente cambiata con un’altra migliore.

Un hotel medio di 3 stelle con servizio decente e una posizione decente. La stanza era molto arrangita (suggerisco di ospitare 4 persone). La porta ha una distanza di 1 pollici sotto, il che significa che si sentono tutto accaduto sul pavimento. Forniscono un'udito, probabilmente perché alcuni ospiti devono aver lamentato il rumore. Venendo a Taipei, ho scelto Johoi vicino al quartiere orientale. Non solo il trasporto è conveniente, camminare fino alla stazione di riabilitazione di Jiangxian meno di due minuti. The staff really have no sense of time and the demanded payment from us at 3am due to a stained towel when were were not even checking out yet. (Were just there to collect something which had been dropped off with them) It made us feel like they are desperate for money, because the front desk staff would not let us go and even said we had to go withdraw and pay them there and then. Fine we paid and went up to the room which we had requested for room service only to find that the sheets they gave us had blood stains on the bed and pillow. The location and room were nice enough but would not recommend people to stay unless you intend to avoid the front desk at late night.

Hotel room are clean and modern. Love the contemporary design of the room and toilet (mirror with LED lights). Location is nearby to TRA station, with 10 mins walking distance. Receptionist could have greet / welcome their customer when customer entering or step out the hotel. For my experience , after checked-in , they don’t bother you anymore, no smile and no greet. You can find snacks outside of your room. But unfortunately, they don’t refill in time. I only able to grab some snacks during my first day stay in this hotel. Could be improve. The hot water in the shower room is just tepid. The drainage flow in the shower room very slow. Overall , I will give a 5 out of 10 for a three star hotel.

LIKED: 1. Budget friendly 2. Laundry room availability DISLIKED: 1. Size of the room 2. Smell of the room (smelled damp, probably from the carpeted floor) 3. No bidet in the bathroom 4. Shampoo and shower gel were in the form of small sachets, barely enough for 1 person to use 5. Electrical sockets were behind the beds, you'd need to move the beds to use them. Otherwise there's only 1 socket next to the table and another one in the bathroom next to the toilet 6. Breakfast selection was very limited and in a basement that is relatively dark. There's no hot water dispenser there so if you want to drink tea, you either have to prepare hot water in your room or from the dispenser on the first floor.

The hotel is at a location quite close to calligraphy greenway and public transport is relatively convenient too. Hotel breakfast was ok though it was a little repetitive. One point to note is that the closest junction is strictly an overhead bridge so if you're arriving by public transport and also carrying luggage, you'll have to walk a littler further down the road to cross.

Stayed there for two nights and it was a great time. The hotel is very nice with a good location. Very close to a great night market.

Book the hotel for a last-minute travel. Stayed in this hotel for 8 days. I think for the price the hotel is clean. Here are some breakdowns: Room: The room and the hotel are a little dated, but its acceptable. I think it will work for backpakers. The vent in my room came off a little. The maintenance team should pay attention to things like this. The room I booked does not have a window. Luckily, I'm not in the room most of the time. Recommendation to people if you are interested in this hotel, make sure to book the room with a window. Also, the room I stayed in is small. You need to close up you luggage otherwise you won't have space to walk. Cleanses: The cleanese is within acceptable range for a hotel like this. However, I think the carpet in the room is old and dirty. Management should really consider replacing the carpets. A newer carper can bring the cleanness of the room up one level. Each bed comes with 2 pillows instead of 4. I have decent sleep on it. Amenities: The hotel comes with two bottles of water everyday. House keeping will provide it daily if you have house keeping. Hotel provides reusable sleepers for bathroom and for use in the room. These are not disposable sleepers. They are reusable. They look very old school and I'm not sure how clean they are. So, I dont use them. I understand its a budget hotel, but it would be really great if they provided disposable sleepers. Also, there is no hand soap in the bathroom. You would think that after the pandemic, washing hand should become an important part of life but hand soap is not provided. I went to one of the local shops here to buy myself a bottle of hand soap. The shower drain is also a little clogged. There is a small poddle of water while showering. I read similar issues in other reviews. Breakfast: The breakfast is ok for the price of the room. Some of the reviews said that the breakfast was better before. Honestly, with inflation, all cost have gone up. I think the selection of breakfast is good for the price of hotel. I think overall the hotel is ok. If you are traveling alone and are under a budget, I think this hotel can be one of the choices.

The place is ok. The staff is just ok, I can't say they are too good either. They have a non-sense pedantic rule that you must collect your dishes and put them in a tray place. I felt like I am in McDonalds or in a trashy human factory. Meanwhile the staff are sitting doing nothing. As a guest, when I go to a hotel I want to relax, I have enough with tidying up and cleaning things at home, the least thing I want at a hotel is doing the same. Breakfast itself is ok but milk tea is EXTREMELY sweet and no milk tea option without sugar so if you do not wanna get diabetes type B you won't be able to enjoy breakfast. The rest is mostly very high carbs suggary or fried fatty stuff except a small salad buffet and scrambled eggs. There was no coffee during my stay as coffee machine was broken so cannot rate it. Checkin should be conveniently done with a kiosk downstairs but when I came it was broken too. The place feels comfortable and private. Water has only BOILING HOT water. So it does not have a mixer so you can shower for the first minute, then water is boiling super hot and there is no way to mix it up with cold water or make temperature cold down. It is funny cause travelling around the world I found some countries where it is difficult to get hot water but first time in my life finding a hotel where it is difficult to get cold water. Location is just ok, it is a bit far from MRT but most staff is nearby.

the room is clean there's no awful smell in the room (did not use my fragrance spray at all it's impressive), it's conveniently located near the mall n subway station, breakfast is simple but yummy, you can try the buffet spread in the mall i think it's value for money,

Really glad i picked this hotel to stay in Kaohsiung! It is near Kaohsiung main station (a big part of the station is under renovation as of August 2024 so the walk from the station is longer as we have to walk a larger loop compared to just walking straight out to the hotel - the hotel faces the main station directly btw). Nonetheless the hotel room is clean and spacious. The bed is larger than what I thought (feels more like a king bed for a double bed!) so that’s a huge plus. The hotel staff were really friendly and kind (living up to the hotel’s name), and we have access to the lounge area which includes free drinks and ice cream + some small snacks! I think these little things really add up to make the stay very pleasant! I would want to come back here next time I’m back in Kaohsiung!
