Filippine: hotel con spa nella provincia di Davao (regione)

Servizio talvolta prende tempo e l'equipaggio non sa cosa fare, TV non funziona affatto senza alcun consiglio fino a quando non è stato chiesto, la pulizia è media a causa dell'età dell'hotel e il cibo inconsistente con la qualità e la salute pubblica.

It has a beautiful garden. The food in the restaurant is nice. Seats are inside in a Filipino style room, outside you can enjoy the spacious lush garden while have lunch/dinner. The rooms are large, beds comfortable. It is a bit older but the Charme of this resort is stunning. There is a shuttle boat to beaches at Samal island. Short ride to malls, with grab no problem at all. The breakfast is solid. I would say this was my best stay in Davao.

i stayed in another room but surely it was the same experience as everyone else i guess, accessible to everything, safe to stay and the amenities are excellent... just realized before i checked out, the drinks at the bar was not that expensive, maybe because it's local rate and we are in the philippines... idk, i'm just used to see skyrocket prices of everythinv when you dine in a 4/5 star hotels

I checked in at past 10 pm and got a big room, bigger than what I expected for the price. The room, including the bathroom, is obviously newly renovated. I will recommend it to friends.The location is just perfect for my needs.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo avuto un bel tempo. L'equipaggio di servizio sono molto gentile e utile. Le strutture erano meravigliose. Amiamo la spiaggia. È prezioso, ma vale la pena. La lista degli ospiti che gli sono stati dati alla guardia all’ingresso è sbagliata, e che deve controllare di nuovo con il concierge, e la guardia ha detto che c’era solo una stanza prenotata invece di due. Anche l'elenco dato al personale sul numero di ospiti per il colazione complimentare è stato solo per 4 adulti invece di 5. Ci siamo trasferiti per 2 notti e non c'era alcun problema il primo giorno. In generale, consiglierei molto Discovery Samal.

La prima volta a Davao e Samal Island.La posizione è molto vicina al cantiere.Il personale era amichevole e utile.Svegliato molto presto e già puliva la piscina e le aree circostanti per gli ospiti.Abbiamo avuto un buon tempo nella piscina e un po' di cammino in spiaggia.

Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests.  One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe.  Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. Molto bene, molto pulito, il parcheggio è anche conveniente, ci sono anche posti vicino per mangiare, e in futuro andrò ancora 😏😏
