Canada: hotel con spa nella provincia di Alberta

The hotel location is excellent just fronting lake louise which was has a stunning view from our room. Breakfast was superb 👌 and service excellent. But how come you have to pay for the parking at 50 dolars per nite when you are staying and paying for the room when it should be free considering the price we paid at more than 2,000 dolars a nite excluding Breakfast? Just confused 😕

La receptionista era molto lieto e la stanza era molto pulita! È anche convenientemente situato nel centro di Calgary. I recently stayed at Irwin’s Mountain Inn for a quick winter getaway, and overall, it’s a solid choice for those who want to be in the heart of Banff without the premium price tag of the luxury resorts. What I Loved: The Location: You really can't beat being right on Banff Avenue. It was a quick, scenic 5-10 minute walk to the downtown core for dinner and shopping. Plus, the ski shuttle stop is just steps away, which is a massive plus in January. The Amenities: After a cold day outside, the 8-person hot tub and dry cedar sauna were highlights. They were well-maintained and exactly what I needed to thaw out. The Staff: From check-in to check-out, the service was genuinely warm. They were happy to provide local tips and made the process seamless. On-site Dining: We grabbed breakfast at El Toro Restaurant inside the hotel. The food was surprisingly good—definitely a step above your standard hotel fare—and very convenient on a chilly morning. A Few Considerations: Noise Levels: As some other travelers have noted, the walls are a bit thin. I could occasionally hear activity in the hallways and the hum of the heating system, though it didn't ruin my sleep. Parking: The underground parking is a great perk (especially to keep the snow off the car), but it is limited and quite tight. If you’re arriving late in the evening during peak season, you might have to hunt for a spot. Room Vibe: The rooms are clean and functional, but they do feel a bit ”classic.” If you are looking for ultra-modern luxury, this isn't it—but for a cozy, budget-friendly mountain base, it hits the mark. Final Verdict: A fantastic mid-range option for winter travelers. It’s clean, cozy, and perfectly situated. I’d definitely stay here again for the convenience and the hot tub alone!

Not our first time staying here -but we left with a sense of frustration today! It began when the front desk couldn’t find our reservation - twice ! (despite a phone call 2 hours prior to check in). Had to take my driver’s licence and go “somewhere to talk to someone in the back” - then he came back (after 2 or so  minutes) and “magically” the reservation had been found. Unnerving for my identification to disappear from my sight. No explanation offered. Frustrated again at check out when the desk clerk tried to charge us for something from the snack bar in our room - we had literally left our room 2 minutes before. Couldn’t tell us what item we had “consumed” (we hadn’t consumed anything - especially at those prices!) and then when asked how they could possibly know within 2 minutes (of us leaving our room) that an item had been consumed - they became very defensive and couldn’t actually answer the question of “how do you know what to charge us for” and the response was “it’s for the report at the end of the day - no one is saying you actually took anything”. Except that’s exactly what the desk clerk said the charge was going to be for - “an item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20”. After challenging the charge we were told that no charge would be put through on the credit card. Made to feel like we had “stolen” something when we asked for further clarification on the charge. “No apologies or thank you for staying with us”. Disappointing. Side note - Service in the ****** was great - including the restaurant.

Il mio collega Rotary e io siamo venuti alla Conferenza internazionale Rotary 2025 a Calgary. Il soggiorno era piacevole. Il servizio era eccellente. La stanza era pulita ogni giorno, che era bello tornare a una stanza pulita. Il caffè e il tè sono stati riempiti ogni giorno, che è stato grande. Raccomando molto agli amici e alla famiglia. L'hotel era così vicino all'aeroporto. Il servizio di navetta è stato fornito all'aeroporto che era conveniente. Mi piaceva l'esposizione di lobby pronta per il 2015 Calgary Stampede dal 1° luglio 2025 per dieci giorni.

I had a wonderful two-night stay in Banff. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well organized. After long days enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery, it was the perfect place to relax. A special thank you to Marilyn, who provided exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Her professionalism and kindness made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, close to downtown Banff and surrounded by stunning natural scenery. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Banff.

La dimensione della camera era piccola e aveva bisogno di una migliore pianificazione per le strutture interne.Lo stesso vale per il bagno. La stanza potrebbe essere stata meglio luminosa ... il buio dà un'impressione brillante e come se ci fosse qualcosa che si nascondesse (come il tappeto di pavimento che ci sentiamo bisogno di una migliore pulizia). Hanno anche un club fitness e un spa. Il parcheggio è nel seminterrato e è facile. Inoltre offrono biglietti d'autobus per chi vuole esplorare posti in autobus. Non ne abbiamo bisogno, perché avevamo la nostra auto.

L'hotel è stato aggiornato gratuitamente a una suite familiare. La camera non è grande, ma la disposizione è sorprendente, moderna nello stile e confortevole in cui vivere. Parcheggio gratuito e ampi posti auto. La biancheria da letto è pulita e confortevole e le pantofole non sono fornite. La cena al ristorante dell'hotel è davvero deliziosa e durante i normali orari di pranzo è necessario fare la fila per circa 30 minuti. C'è un sentiero lungo il fiume davanti alla porta sul retro della stanza, che è molto adatto a chi ama fare una pausa e camminare sull'acqua. L'hotel dispone di un bus navetta per Lake Louise, che dista circa 5 minuti in auto.

We had a large family room in the basement that was conveniently located next to the spa. Our check in was super friendly and the room was large and very spacious. The kitchen was lovely with lots of special touches. We had a few issues with the room, we booked a family room bath tub and there was no tub. Unfortunately the drain in the shower was disgusting, and the tiles were broken, we asked for another room but they had none available. We were told we could shower in the spa room. The spa wasn’t working and when we got in the shower they’d run out of shower gel. The sofa bed isn’t suitable for anyone as it’s very uncomfortable. Our very small teenager tried to sleep on it and she felt every spring. Despite our issues I would recommend this hotel as the location was good, staff were lovely and the breakfast was decent.
