We spent 12 nights in Taiwan, touring the island, and this is by far the most beautiful and functional hostel/hotel we’d stayed in. Absolutely love the lay out of the place. With a big courtyard in the middle, filled with plants. The ground floor has a common fully functional kitchen (with fridge, oven, stove, steamer, we even found Chinese tea set for those wanting to try out Chinese tea making), lots of pots and pans, they even provide cooking oil, sauces, salt for cooking. It’s so clean and tidy that every guest using the place was obligated to keep the place the same state! On the ground floor, there are lots of comfortable seats for reading or having a chat. Tables for doing work. Bean bags to sit and lounge around. The hostel provides bike mounts for those who come in bicycle, a bike repair area with some tools to fix your bike. Those who drive, there is a nearby parking for hostel guest (TWD50 per day) We get vouchers to spend in a few places nearby, so we used it to pay for our brunch at Lane28. They were enough to cover brunch for 3 of us for 2 days. The rooms too are nicely designed. Our deluxe double room comes with a big bed, a sofa, and a study table. The hotel even provide journaling books, stamps, washi tapes for journaling. Absolutely coming back! And will try the other Norden Ruder hostel in Taichung.

Quiet little villa (European style) near the beach. Easy access by car. Plenty of parking spaces. Great for a good night’s rest. Host was attentive and friendly with 2 cute cats wearing sweater playing about the front yard.

We love this villa so much! The room was very warm and clean, the interior of the lobby and restaurant were awesome, and mountain view at balcony was stunning! We had dinner at the villa restaurant, you gotta book it with the hotel at least 1hr before their set timing and there was no menu, you get whatever they prepare. The food was absolutely tasty and portion was generous! 4-star for location as we had to take the local bus to the Qingjing Farm, and the bus frequency was one bus per hr. Other than this everything else was perfect!

I really enjoy the design of the room. The place is clean in. The location is perfect. There are lots of things to see and eat around the area. This is my second time booking this motel. I would definitely recommend others.

We stayed 5 days in Taichung for our pre-wedding shoot, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Just a 10-minute walk to Wernar Wedding, and everything else we wanted to explore was nearby. Morning strolls to Third Market for breakfast, a sweet stop at Miyahara for ice cream, a fun baking session at the Sun Cake Museum, and night walks to Yizhong Market for food. Loved how walkable everything was! The only bad thing is that there is not enough space to open luggage.
