I went to the Ciêla Resort And Spa in Lusaka during a 9-hour layover on September 20, 2024. I thought it would be a nice place to kill time by getting a spa treatment and grabbing a good meal before a red eye flight. The resort was beautiful, the spa treatment was nice and the meal at The Brewery was much nicer than any options at the airport or on an airplane. That said, I was very disappointed to discover I had been charged twice for the spa treatment at the onsite spa and twice for my meal at The Brewery Restaurant. At the spa, I was told my credit card didn't go through the first time and asked to try again. At The Brewery restaurant, I was shown the credit card machine that said failed, however since I was connected to the wifi there, I received a text saying my credit card had been charged. I said as much to the service person who went to get the manager. The manager said it failed, possibly due to the power issues, and that the charge would be reversed because it failed. I was asked to try again so I used a different credit card. I noticed on my layover in Dubai that I was sent two text messages about my credit card being charged at the spa at the Ciêla Resort. Once I got home, I checked my online statement and saw the duplicate charge at the Spa. I tried calling the spa but couldn't reach anyone. The person at the front desk said I had to speak to someone at the spa. Being tired from my travels home and feeling the jet lag, I gave up at that time. I looked for an email address or another way to reach someone to no avail. I was left to hope the Ciêla Resort would notice the error and correct it on their own. As I was checking my credit card statements today to pay my bills, I found I was indeed charged twice at both places I went within the Ciêla Resort And Spa. With no way to contact or speak to anyone at the hotel, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. Beware of being told your credit card didn't work and being asked to try again, don't use a debit card to pay for anything at the resort and check your credit card statement closely when you get home. What I thought was a good idea and a place to go to kill time during a long layover has become a headache. Something is shady about this facility and I won't return to this resort on my next trip to Zambia. Thankfully, this is the only bad thing I can say about my 2.5 week trip to Zambia.

Large hotel with two swimming pools & a restaurant. It is situated a little outside town, about 15 minute drive to the airport. Room large clean & comfortable. TV, A/C & fridge provided. WiFi good in the reception area but weak in the room. Staff pleasant & called for us Uber car when we needed it. Buffet breakfast was good. We had evening meals here too. I would definitely stay here during my next visit to Lusaka.

Vive qui per due notti a Lusaka.La posizione è nel centro, andare al centro commerciale Levy Mall, banca, ufficio del governo, ecc.La sala e il ristorante sono grandi (gusto di carne).La stanza è piccola e può essere decorata con un po'di più, ma in generale. L'indirizzo del corridoio è sporco e deve essere sostituito.Il personale è molto amichevole e aiuta a visitare il nostro quartiere di Lusaka.

Questo posto è stato un grande luogo per soggiornare. È situato vicino a tre grandi Malls nella zona . Ci sono anche molti hotel nella zona e l'accesso al trasporto pubblico su strada principale che va dall'aeroporto al centro della città. Il personale e la squadra di gestione sono buoni.

From the moment I arrived the staff really stood out as wanting to meet my needs/expectations (a bit of an early check in) without any fuss or bother. I really found the room to be excellent with that ”classis lovely crisp linen” feeling as soon as I climbed into my large bed after a very long flight to get to Lusaka. Absolutely on my ”go back to list” for my next visit to Lusaka

Mio marito e io ci siamo fermati per qualche notte all'inizio e alla fine del nostro viaggio in Zambia. Questo alloggio è bellissimo con il respiro che si circonda. Ci sono tutto ciò che potreste avere bisogno e tutto il personale è più che utile. Non potevamo perdere il nostro soggiorno. Il cibo era fantastico e il vino Lilayi è meraviglioso. L'esperienza del gusto del vino è un must.

I had an incredible stay at the Southern Sun Ridgeway Hotel, thanks to the outstanding service from the team! Flyness, the receptionist, was a star! She made my booking and check-in process seamless and efficient. Her warm welcome and prompt service set the tone for a fantastic stay. Special mentions to Nalwendo, the porter, who greeted me with a smile and showed me to my room with ease. Innocent from security was also very friendly and ensured my safety throughout my stay. The hotel's staff truly go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. I highly recommend Southern Sun Ridgeway Hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service and a wonderful stay. Thank you, Flyness, Nalwendo, Innocent, and the entire team, for making my stay unforgettable!

The Taj as usual didn't disappoint. It's a great venue with all the facilities that you could want. Great value when compared to other venues that don't have the range of facilities and service that you get there. Definitely top of the list when in Lusaka!

Il sabato sera c'era un evento all'interno di tende pitched e il rumore era insopportabile. Non è ciò che si aspetta da un hotel di cinque stelle come l'Intercontinentale. Mi sono lamentato e sono stato trasferito in un altro locale alle 11:00. La stanza reale 304 era pulita. Anche la nuova stanza 311 era pulita.
