Peaceful Location, But Some Inconveniences This hotel is in a very quiet area of Phu Quoc, about a five-minute walk to the beach. They provide beach chairs at the pool close by , which was nice, and it’s perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay away from the busy city atmosphere. You pay extra for chairs the beach. However, if you want nightlife, lots of restaurants, and city energy — this is not the place. There are very few restaurants nearby, so you’ll need transportation if you want more options. Room cleaning was only done every two days (two days without cleaning, then one day cleaning), which felt a bit unusual. Also, after the initial two complimentary bottles of water, they would not provide more. I was told to go downstairs and refill bottles myself, which I didn’t love. They were able to exchange money, which was convenient — but only when a specific staff member was there. Other times, it wasn’t available. One important note: I originally booked one hotel, but when I arrived they didn’t have a room available and walked me to another nearby property instead. It was close, but not the hotel I had originally reserved. Overall, it’s a quiet place near the beach, but with some service inconsistencies to be aware of.

A beautiful self-contained mini resort type accommodation - a series of large terraced apartments with spacious porches set out in a square around a decent sized pool and courtyard area. The front desk was very helpful and assisted with anything that we needed, although Google translate may be required here and there. The rooms themselves were very clean, however you may expect to have the odd visitor in the form of a gecko (did not see a single roach in any area during our 3 day stay). The rooms have everything you need such as air con, TV, fridge etc. the hot water for shower may take a little while to pull through but it is there - the shower heads are mounted a little low on the wall so anybody tall may struggle unless they use the less powerful overhead rainfall style shower head. The location is a bit remote and a minimum 15 minute scooter ride is needed to get anywhere with decent infrastructure - the bungalows do rent out scooters for a average price although they may be a little run down. This is kind of off set by the very casual nature of the transaction - it’s very much take the keys, do what you want and pay later, no inspections etc. Would recommend to anybody that wants a bit of peace out of the way of busy areas but is confident and willing to jump on a scooter to get to where they need.

This hotel gave me one of the best experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything was spotless, and the service was truly exceptional—better than most five-star hotels. The rooms and bathrooms were sparkling clean, the swimming pool was wonderful, and the beach was beautiful. And the breakfast? Absolutely perfect.

고객의 전통 결혼식 참석을 위해 1년 3개월만에 재방문했네요. 락자에 괜찮은 호텔이 부족해서 가성비 좋은 호아빈으로 예약했습니다. 가성비 좋고, 벌레 없고, 룸 깔끔하고 오전에 조금 일찍 도착했는데 얼리 체크인도 해주고 만족스럽습니다. 작년에 조식이 뷔페 형태였는데, 매뉴판을 주고 고르면 요리를 해줍니다. 샐러드바는 별도로 있고요. 개인적으로는 이것이 더 나은 거 같습니다.

Ha anche detto che potevo prendere una barca per visitare un'isola lì vicino, gli ho detto che volevo solo visitare Star Beach e che potevo decidere per l'altra isola lì. Ha detto che andava bene. Quando siamo arrivati, era un posto orribile e ci siamo resi conto che dovevamo prendere la barca per raggiungere Star Beach da lì. Non avevamo scelta e non ce l'ha spiegato. Ma la parte peggiore è stata quando siamo arrivati ​​in spiaggia, il mare era mosso e la visibilità era pessima, non c'erano stelle marine lì!!!! Solo alcune che hanno messo in un secchio! For foodies, there’s a local market and numerous restaurants nearby serving incredible local cuisine and fresh seafood that you shouldn't miss. (The Wi-Fi Catch) While the hotel is excellent in almost every other category, the Wi-Fi is a significant drawback. During my stay, the connection was very unstable. The staff mentioned an issue with the optic fiber cable, which might be a temporary or regional issue, but it was enough of a struggle that I chose not to extend my stay. The Pool & Family Vibes: It is frequently cited as a family-friendly spot, with the pool being a highlight for those traveling with children. The Internet: While the hotel advertises high-speed Wi-Fi, regional issues with Vietnam's undersea fiber optic cables (like the APG and AAE-1 lines) often cause intermittent slowdowns across the island, which explains the ”optic fiber” explanation given by the staff. Attractions Nearby Suoi Tranh Waterfall: Located about 9–10 km away, this is a beautiful spot for a light hike and a dip in natural rock pools. Duong Dong Market: The island’s largest outdoor market. It’s perfect for experiencing local life, buying souvenirs, and trying street food. Truc Lam Ho Quoc Zen Monastery: A stunning, peaceful pagoda overlooking the ocean, offering some of the best views on the island. Sao Beach (Bai Sao): Famous for its powdery white sand and turquoise waters—it's often called the most beautiful beach in Phu Quoc. Phu Quoc Night Market: A vibrant evening destination where you can find endless stalls of grilled seafood, rolls, and local crafts.
