Giappone: hotel con piscina nella provincia di Prefettura di Ibaraki

Fantastic hotel with great service and amenities. Rooms are clean and well maintained, with provided humidifier and window mesh if you want fresh air. Room service is prompt and unintrusive. The provided breakfast is free flow buffet, with a solid variety of locally sourced food, in typical japanese style, or western (japanese) breakfast style (scrambled eggs, pasta, baked sweet potato with cheese (gratin style). Dinner is catered to each guest. Almost every night will have a different meal, and will be prepped specifically for you. Do not miss it, it's as good or better than most restaurants in the area. You can get free flow of additional rice, or additional side dishes. The typical dinner would come w a local appetizer, sashimi platter, main course of hotpot, pan stove, or mini barbeque, another side dish, and a dessert. Can range from icecream, melon, or small cake. You can also book bike rentals (power assisted for uphill) at 2200 for a whole day, and other guided tours like surfing or fishing (you should speak japanese). Location wise, it's around a 40min-1h long walk to the town center, or a 15min cycle. It's close to nearby Hitachinaka fish market, Oarai aquarium, and beach. There are not many street lights at night. It is recommended to be back in the hotel by around 6pm for dinner etc. Water dispensers are in every level, and onsen in the basement. There is also vending machines and washing machine (500yen for both wash and dry - 2h)

Sono stato un po' deluso che il Porte Ocean Tori fosse un po' lontano dall'hotel. Dopo aver detto che la vista sull'oceano dalla nostra stanza era molto bello. I pasti erano deliziosi e il personale molto utile. Purtroppo la nostra stanza era molto polverosa e il bagno sembrava essere pulito, quindi ci siamo appena docciati, c’era un tappeto che cominciava a uscire dalle pareti e le porte cieche e le porte circostanti erano molto sporche. Delusione considerando il prezzo della stanza.
