Regno Unito: hotel con piscine nella provincia di Essex

Lovely hotel in nice grounds. Friendly reception. Decent room (we stayed in the Sartorial rooms) which was spacious. Good breakfast in the main restaurant although continental was a bit limited. Ate in the evenings at the cafe rather than main restaurant and food was good. Also lovely staff. 

Our room was spotless , a comfy bed and a good shower , the pool+ hot room area were really good, but for reference there are 3 (members only) aqua aerobics classes a week which use the whole pool , and whose participants’warm up’ prior to the class -so it’s very busy to the class , there are a great selection of (pre bootable )classes , treatments and a well equipped  gym (all obviously open to  members ) , the meal options are delicious, and the staff are charming

The swimming pool appeared quite big, although we didn't get a chance to use it. Our room was fairly roomy for two people, but with our group of four, it felt a bit crowded. It's worth noting that if you have heavy luggage, you might want to avoid booking a room on the top floor (second floor), as there are no lifts available in this hotel. The bathroom provided only shampoo and body wash, so you might need to bring or purchase your own conditioner. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. Despite anticipating a traditional British offering, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety available, including English hot meals, a salad bar, a selection of cereals (there was Alpen!), milk alternatives (I particularly enjoyed the Oatly), and two coffee machines. Their breakfast was so impressive that I will definitely consider staying at this hotel again when I visit Colchester next time.

A dire il vero, a parte il fatto che era così vicino al terminal per una partenza alle 4 del mattino, è stata una delusione. Lunga coda per il check-in, nonostante il personale fosse gentile e accogliente, ho dovuto scavalcare una scatola di pizza, una tazza sporca e un bicchiere di vino abbandonati fuori dalla porta e, quando sono entrato in camera, non ero del tutto convinto che fosse stata pulita a dovere. Inoltre, un piccolo neo: niente biscotti! Tuttavia, il lato positivo è che era tranquillo e il check-out è stato veloce.

Stayed overnight for a wedding in the area. Convenient online check-in & check out. Had to pay £20 for early check in. Parking was an extra £12 overnight. Great facilities including pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Plenty of choice at breakfast including dairy free milk. Friendly staff.

房間非常的寬敞…而且酒店在於一個很寬闊的草地中間…可以自駕或者做公交到達…晚上的酒店非常漂亮…寧靜的環境還可以看到很多天上的星星…自帶的餐吧可以看足球比賽

Ideal place for a short stay everything is covered great accommodation quite setting and lovely pool and games room good for all ages.

Lovely hotel with great amenities. Friendly and welcoming staff. Have been before and will definitely be going again :)
