Costa Rica: hotel con piscina nella provincia di Provincia di Puntarenas

Beautiful location and for the most part the service was great. First the pluses ....beach is super and the staff down by the beach was friendly and welcoming and they do a great job of creating safety (lots of lifeguard drills it appeared!) and overall the sense of a lovely vacation feel. There are golf carts to take you everywhere on the property, which is pretty necessary as the property is steep and quite spread out. You just give a call and someone shows up in minutes. Many of the drivers have a great personality, just made it surprising when a few of them seemed not friendly--and for us there was no need to speak English--I was always happy to try my Spanish! Ditto for the staff in the main restaurant--some were friendly and welcoming and a few others were all business and not very welcoming or patient. On with the plus items...the beds are very comfortable, rooms are private and quiet, and the policy of free mini bar snacks (with free restocking) is wonderful! The monkeys and iguanas --and sloths--on the property are terrific. There is a dinner in the beach restaurant on Wednesdays, Sats and Suns and since we were only there for the Wed dinner, I wish that the staff at breakfast had reminded us of it and also, there could be a small guide in the room that would include the beach dinner evening schedule as well as a map of the nature trail --with distances. We wanted to walk it ourselves, without their guide, but didn't have a good sense of the overall length of the trail. There was a little sense that they wanted to encourage us to sign up for their guided (for a fee) walk. The food in the main restaurant was good, but not exceptional and the dinners are quite expensive. The breakfast has many choices and again, it's good but not exceptional--but nice that it's included in the room price. Overall, however, it's a lovely place, clearly the nicest place to stay in Manuel Antonio, but also quite pricey, which you know if you're reading this! Trip.com had the best price by far, at least for November.

Hotel muy bien situado justo a la entrada del parque Manuel Antonio (escasos 100m). Puedes disfrutar de las instalaciones del hotel el faro, lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún mejor. Los empleados del hotel son muy atentos y amables

Abbiamo avuto una grande esperienza in questo hotel. Le camere erano estremamente pulite, la terrazza era molto spaziosa, e la vista sull'oceano era assolutamente bella. Il personale era molto amichevole e utile, e anche se qualcosa non funzionava correttamente, erano sempre pronti a assistere rapidamente e con un atteggiamento positivo. L'unico piccolo punto di svantaggio è che l'hotel è situato a circa 20 minuti di collina, quindi arrivare lì può essere un po' difficile. Se non vuoi passare il tempo di guidare e scendere ogni giorno, potresti preferire prenotare un posto più vicino al fondo. In generale, consigliamo molto questo hotel e sicuramente rimarrebbe lì!

The front of the hotel can be misleading, as the hotel is actually quite nice. The rooms are pretty good. The pool area is large and well designed, and have a bar right there. A lot of the rooms have view to the pool. The tennis/basketball/indoor soccer field is great, with roof. They have pool tables, table tennis and foosball. The restaurant is 24/7, which comes in very handy, and also adds the advantageof not being tied to a specific schedule for the free breakfast that's included. Parking can be a little confusing at first, but it's actually close to the rooms (I would improve it by addign signs on the road indicating how to get to the parking lot).

Otherwise amazing hotel plagued by rude staff and tour buses. First, this a hotel is used by Americans in bus tours - expect hundreds of them any given time. Second, the staff is incredibly rude. We had an issue with our keys and the reception employee, Ana Belen, refused to help us or even try to understand the issue. TV turned up by itself in the middle of the night. The toilet flush situation is terrible, there is simply no pressure. The good thing, hotel is nearby the Cloud Reserve, breakfast is good and pool looks good.

Il servizio ci ha colpito molto, ma le camere erano molto pulite, il colazione era delizioso e il personale era molto gentile e utile. Ogni giorno il personale ci ha consegnato un po'di dolcetto gratis nella nostra stanza, e ci ha sorpresi con un regalo di luna di miele di champagne e un tavolo di cartuccia con pane fresco e carta fatta a mano. Raccomandiamo fortemente NYA per chiunque rimanga a Montezuma!

The hotel is perfectly located directly at the beach. We enjoyed very much the air conditioning in the room, as outside was very, very hot and humid. The receptionists were very helpful - the young man let us use his personal charger and the woman let us check in a bit earlier than the regular time. Breakfast staff was very friendly, too. The rooms were quite big and very clean, but the bed was not comfortable. I would recommend the hotel further. Thank you!

Stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights. Very clean and comfortable and excellent friendly staff. Beautiful swimming pools and tennis courts, also pool tables. For those into fitness there is a Gym on the property with all sorts of equipment for exercising. Ipad size safe in the room. WIFI, breakfast, and onsite parking included. Would definately return someday....hopefully for a longer stay.

Jaco really isn’t for families anymore. The hotel shows a picture that it is next to an empty plot: Well that is a 20 story building now. Some AC units are too old, making very loud vibrations. We had 2 cockroaches in the room despite closed windows. If you need to be in Jaco, check out the hotel on the other side of the creek. If you have a choice, drive a couple more kilometres to a nicer village.
