Fantastic stay at The Grand. We had booked a suite but it was not one of the modernised rooms like we had hoped for. We went to reception and was greeted by India who kindly gave us options of 2 other rooms to move to and let us view both before choosing. The room we picked was fantastic, so modern, comfortable and even had kitchen facilities which was an added bonus. It was lovely to sleep in such a comfortable bed and not be disturbed by any street noise or noise from other guests. We went out for dinner and was surprised to come back to see we’d had a turn down service and little chocolates left on the pillows. Just little touches like this make you want to return and recommend to others. We would definitely stay here again, the service from all staff, but especially India, was fantastic!

Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo in questo hotel. Il personale dell'hotel era molto amichevole e utile. Le camere erano molto grandi, letti molto confortevoli e ovunque puliti. Ci è una buona selezione di cibo per colazione. Basta per soddisfare tutte le esigenze Se arrivate presto o restate dopo aver controllato, c'è una stanza per immagazzinare il bagaglio che abbiamo trovato utile. La posizione è brillante.Solo pochi minuti da tutto. L'unica proposta che ho è quella di avere un bottiglia di acqua nelle stanze.

Excellent stay. The hotel is ideally located if arriving by train. We arrived in the morning and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to check in early as our room was ready. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a roomy walk in shower. The only thing that would have improved it would have been some drawer space as it only has hanging space in the wardrobe. All the staff were helpfull and friendly. We had an evening meal and breakfast during our stay and both were excellent. We also made use of the leisure facilties during our stay. Overall would highly recommend and if we visit York again would definitely stay at The Milner.

Avevo un bel soggiorno a Hampton, da Hilton. Tutto bene e l'hotel è in una posizione tranquilla ideale proprio lontano dalla strada principale, vicino alla stazione e al centro di York. Solo il disappunto è stato la mancanza di snack e deserti serali. Abbiamo dovuto finire con un pacchetto di torte Jaffa!! Molto povero, neanche un ristorante serale .

Great reception staff. The room was advertised as a ‘cosy double’ but it was a huge bed, huge room and small bathroom. The breakfast had an excellent selection which you could help yourself to. The one downside was that the walls were quite thin so you could hear people in the next room or talking while passing along the corridor.

Celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary at the Queen’s Hotel. Situated in a great place close to bars, restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and they serve a good cold beer and wine at the bar!

Positives-great location. Quiet rooms, no noise from traffic. Extremely clean. Great service at the bar. Great prices. Staff courteous, polite and friendly and want to be there, well done for employing your staff they are a credit to you. We would certainly book again. Thank you.

Se sei tu, è molto consigliabile per questa casa, perché dopo tutto c'è una distanza dalla vecchia città di York, vicino al campo di cavallo, ma anche perché c'è una piccola distanza dalle attrazioni turistiche, così l'hotel allo stesso prezzo prenotato nel Regno Unito è il migliore. La camera è ampia e luminosa, e il bagno è con un bagno e un momento, L'acqua è comoda e igienica, e la temperatura dell'acqua è stabile. L'hotel ha un piccolo cortile, il ristorante può vedere, la vista è aperta, l'hotel ha la differenza tra vecchi edifici e nuovi edifici. In termini relativi, il nuovo edificio è un po'di distanza dal hall, ma le strutture sono nuove, l'edificio vecchio è conveniente e le strutture sono vecchie. The room was clean and the staff was quite friendly. however, they assigned us the room next to the student tour. The students next door were very noisy at midnight that I had to call the reception to help me out. Finally they stopped at one o'clock. The hotel should know all the booking in advance and I am very upset the assigned room cos I didnt have a good sleep that night. Plus, the room I ordered was three beds because we wanted to have some spaces to each other. We didnt expect that twin bed was literally next to each other without any space. I could call that was a king size bed.

La stanza era buona, ma il letto e i mobili non erano amichevole. Need place the bed so you can get in at both sides. 🤷🏼
